Damn good curry. Not my favorite Indian in town, but very tasty. I've had their food catered at a wedding before and it was great then, as well.

This place had a variety choices on the menu and because of the many different pictures of food from other customers on yelp, I was surprised at the variety people chose. The atmosphere was a very old fashioned but it's ok. I came for the delicious food. Customer service was great from my server. The food tasted so good that I forgot to take a picture beforehand. I've been looking for a place that can thoroughly cook the meat nice tender. Well done! I love it here for the taste of the food and fast friendly service.

Hidden gem alert at 5th Element! We ordered off-menu chicken vindaloo (yes, they made it happen!) and WOW--easily the best in town. Spice level 5 actually brought the heat, but with flavor, not just fire. The lamb korma was rich and creamy, total comfort in a bowl. The kid's cheese dosa was a hit too--my picky eater gave it a rare nod of approval. Don't skip the naan! It's soft, fluffy, and basically edible happiness. Oh--and just when we thought we were done, they brought out complimentary mango ice cream! Sweet, refreshing, and the perfect ending. Service was fast and super friendly, and the space feels cozy, clean, and welcoming--perfect for a casual date night or family outing. We'll definitely be back!

I've been to Kerala a few times and have been a southern Indian food lover my whole life. Visiting from DC and this is an incredible buffet. The food is clean , high vibrational and authentic! I loved everything I tried all of the dishes and it was all top tier. My favorite part was the chai station and the soft served! Eating here triggered my childhood travels in India I will never forget my time here

I have been to many Indian Buffets all over the world. The thing that stood out the most was the description of the dish and the time it was placed on the serving line. Service even though it was a Buffet was very good and the Buffet line was monitored and attended to. Price point was very affordable, every dish had its own WOW factor given the exotic spices that many people met not be familiar with. This is adventure for those who may be trying Indian food for the first time. Price was spot on for a buffet and does not include soft drinks but does include sweets and hot tea. Clean an also a full bar. Sorry I didn't post photos of the food, but didn't want butcher the names. Go and try it for yourself, firstimer or old hand.

Paneer Makhani curry and butter naan. Amazing and homemade.

I thought the food was amazing. I got the paneer Makhani curry and it was delicious. Hot, spiced right, very flavorful. The service was decent and the food came very quickly. Usually you just get default rice with a dish, however you can get butter naan for no additional charge here. Pricing was reasonable too. They use real butter (ghee) and not soybean oil which is amazing too. I felt very healthy after eating here and plan to come back!

I have eaten at 5th Element several times over and I have to say that they are by far one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten at. I will easily place them on my Top 5 Indian cuisines here in Jacksonville, locally. Their menu and dish selection is pretty massive and overwhelming, which is either a good or bad thing. Now let's talk dishes. We ordered the Lamb Korma, Butter Chicken, Aloo Matar. All were delicious, nicely blended and spiced. Folks, if you have eaten in enough Indian restaurants like I have, one would find similarity in taste and spices and how most are either over spiced or taste abit overpowering. Well, not here at 5th Element. Everything we tried was off the Indian food-chain. On top of that, service was great. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable. Best part is, they are relatively a close drive for me. I'll definitely be coming back! Food: 5/5 Price/Portion: 5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Service: 5/5 I highly recommend this place.

I enjoyed this location, however it was very warm inside I couldn't finish my food. They did keep a neat and tidy restaurant and servers were kind, friendly, and attentive. I wished they had tofu, they offered cheese that was tofu like so I'd say they stay very true to Indian culture. We had appletinis, they were weak in liquor, but I'm open to trying something else. I was pleasantly surprised they had a bar.

I love a good Indian restaurant and this is definitely one of my favorites…read more Food--9.9/10. OK I know this is a silly rating but hang in with me here. I'm a white woman married to a Indian man and I love Indian food. I cook it quite well so when I eat out for Indian food, I have very high expectations. Ironically, I have a much higher spice tolerance than my husband. But whenever he orders and ask for medium spice, it's exactly right. But whenever I order and ask for a medium spice it's nowhere near spicy enough. I don't know if that is just because I sound like I can't handle my spice, but it happens every single time. But getting onto the actual taste and quality of the food. Their Panera biryani is one of my favorites, though I do like their veg biryani more my husband first appear so we usually settle for paneer. It is perfectly cooked so fluffy and delightful and oh my goodness is it abundant. One $15 container will make at least four meals. My husband and I will get one box and share it for lunch or dinner and then put it away because it will be another lunch or dinner later. And it's not like we eat a little we eat a full plate and this box is stuffed to the brim. Service--8/10. My only complaint here is regarding service. It can take a while sometimes to pick up your order, especially when they first open. And I'm not saying it takes time for it to be available because I will often arrive and see it sitting on the shelf, but no one is at the front counter to check me out. I have honestly never dined in at this location so I can only address the service in the aspect of takeout orders. Atmosphere--10/10. It is a very centralized location and a nice strip mall with accessible parking and ample at that. The interior is quite nice and what you'd expect in an Indian restaurant with beautiful cultural pieces around the interior. So if you are looking for a place to eat in this would definitely be atmospherically a nice place.

Leveraging traditional recipes; if you order a classic dish…read moreyou will get the flavors and textures you'd hope for with no reinvention (this is a good thing). Where they are innovating is the broad selection of menu items, with Indian entrees and sides from all over the country, with every region considered. The restaurant is spacious with room for events, pretty lighting for date night, and nicely laid out large tables available for big family dinners. They have great house wines! The staff is friendly, helpful, attentive and is well versed in the menu (which is very modern and has great details and visuals). This is my family's favorite local Indian restaurant and my go to when out of town guests want authentic Indian food.

Me and my girlfriend went on a Saturday evening for the first time, and were pretty satisfied with the price ($32.74 for 1 large pizza and 2 single scoops of ice cream + 20% tip). We picked the food up and could NOT stop talking about how wonderful it smelled. The ice cream itself is great, though has a strong floral taste so keep that in mind. The pizza was excellent. We tried butter chicken and kadai goat pizza so far. Overall, both pizza are very good and the following review is more on my preference. Butter chicken is good but a bit mild for my taste. However, I do love very spicy and strong flavored dishes. So it may be a good first try if you've never had Indian food pizza. Goat kadai is great and is my favorite of the two. But my parents, who are not as familiar with Indian food, didn't find it as enjoyable due to the stronger taste. I will be back trying other flavors. Just very happy to have one in Jacksonville.
