Another florist in town initially took an order through FTD, confirmed the order to have flowers delivered to the local funeral home by a specific time for viewing, and failed not only to fill the order but failed to give notice until 24 hours later after the funeral service the next day that they were not able to make the delivery. The Petal Patch took my order, and hand delivered flowers to the family home. Kudos to them.

I also left a considerable tip for the "driver", but I later learned that my older parents were asked to come and pick up the arrangement for themselves, despite choosing a "delivery day", "driver tip", etc. I've never heard of that before. I am very disappointed with the service I received, and it was a departure from the service delivered in the past. I will not be patronizing Early Blooms &Things again. I contacted Charlette at Bangs Flower and Gift Shop to make an arrangement and deliver it to the service. (Picture) We picked out an arrangement from her website ( www.bangsflowerandgiftshop.com ), a white flower heart stand. With help from Charlette we asked her to add some yellow flowers to complement the arrangement. She delivered the arrangement after consulting with the Davis Morris Funeral Home in Brownwood.
