Pebble stone that cracked my glass

Awesome, Fast and Friendly service! Worth every penny! Going back to get the protective windshield covering!

Before agr- crack on the front, from a tiny rock
Geselle R.

A tiny crack in my window turned into a ginormous line and I found myself stressing out about how to fix it. I called my insurance to see what they could do and they were of little help except for suggesting AGR Windshields to me. I called to get a quote and received one right away. They were able to get me in immediately the next day but I still wanted to look around for pricing. Other places had cost way more so I decided to call and make an appointment with them the following day. Easy stuff! Just gave my information and they came out to my house and got the job done pretty quickly and accurately. My front windshield is brand new! Awesome service. Thank you so much, AGR Windshields. I will definitely recommend you guys to everyone I know!

It baffles me how some people wanna argue the facts. Go back and forth with whoever made this page next time, not me.

The manager or whatever his job is, is very rude and condescending. I asked for an incentive with my deductible and he gave me a whole paragraph on how they bill insurance companies differently yadiyada. Their yelp page has a 75$ off your deductible. And he keeps telling me it says up to 75$. I will post the picture to back my review. He kept telling me to contact another shop. Well guess what?! that's exactly what I'm about to do. When I told him there was no "up to" just "75$" he caught an attitude and started raising his voice. Good job there buddy. Edit: You can't question someone's credibility when you're obviously wrong then double down with this non sense. You kept saying "up to 75." now please point out where it says "up to 75."? Asking for discounts is part of doing business. You don't have a problem with insurance companies cutting corners and asking for discounts do you? Calling me unruly because I called you out on your bs. You're a funny guy I give you that

Great company, excellent communication, prompt, punctual and great price. When they came they were professional and precise, works fast and clean. These are the guys that do the high end cars in town from Ferraris to Rolls Royce! I will be recommending AGR to my circle of influence. Full Confidence! Don't hesitate to go with AGR!!!

There was a little confusing in the communication, but once we got there, things worked out well…read more We'd fortunately purchased the part ourselves, because I'm not sure if they had out mirror's model there. He came out and put it in there for us, and didn't even charge because it was such a simple job. We really appreciated the customer service and the help. I'll definitely go back if I (god forbid) have another glass issue with my car.

I did not have a good experience with them. I requested a quote for OEM glass which the owners seem…read moreto take offense with. I've had issues with aftermarket Fuyao glass (FYG) before (which is what they use). The last time I had my windshield replaced, FYG caused my heads up display (HUD) to display tilted. Once the owners of Clear Quality Glass heard this, they said, "Oh that must be a skill issue with your previous installer or they used the wrong glass". I told them that it's unlikely a skill issue because they ended up going through four different FYG windshields and all of them caused the same issue. Also, if they ordered the wrong non-HUD glass, typically that would cause a blurry or ghosting effect on the HUD which wasn't the case in the four FYG windshields they went through. It displayed sharp, just very tilted. I told them I rather just have OEM glass since it's was such a huge fiasco last time going through four FYG windshields which caused that shop to get upset, then try to gaslight me that they can't see the issue, the heads up display is not tilted, it's my vision, I'm the one remembering how it was wrong, we wasted four windshield on you, we're losing money. Literally every excuse in the book to cover themselves. So I ended up paying twice for their fifth attempt, this time using OEM glass which finally solved the issue. I just wanted to avoid that potential hassle again and OEM is the safest route. Especially since I spent nearly $4k last time because I paid twice. The windshields for this vehicle is incredibly expensive. I don't think it's unreasonable for me to be as careful as I can. Even after hearing all this, Jennifer, the owner of Clear Quality Glass still went out of her way to defend Fuyao Glass. She said "I do want you to know that the windshield cannot make it tilt. They likely dislodged The HUD using an extractor." Really? Go ahead and Google Fuyao glass and HUD problems and there's no shortage of complaints that mirror mine. There's even people with the same vehicle as me who reported the same thing happening to them. I've even had other glass installers say they don't recommend FYG for certain vehicles because of these issues. That installer explained that FYG makes quality glass, yes. But that's not the issue. For proper HUD display, the glass needs to be manufactured within very tight tolerances with a special PVB wedge layer between the glass, oriented precisely and the correct curvature of the glass itself. Sure the glass can fit the housing and technically have all the components, but if any of those components are not to factory specs, even off by a millimeter, it can lead to issues. Not only did other glass installers contradict what you claim is "impossible", I also doubt they dislodged my HUD projector. In my vehicle, it's firmly mounted inside a housing in the dashboard. They would destroy the housing before even getting to the HUD projector. Also, if that was the case then why did the OEM windshield on the fifth attempt finally fix the issue? First it was a skill issue. Second, they used the wrong glass. Third, it's impossible for FYG to cause a tilted HUD. Fourth. They dislodged my HUD projector. It's like they want to blame everything else besides the glass. That literally gave me PTSD and brought me back to all the problems I had with the other shop gaslighting me. It gave me even more reason want OEM glass because if the owners of Clear Quality Auto Glass is going so far out of their way to defend FYG, you can imagine how far they would go if it did cause issues. Mind you, all I did at this point was ask them for a quote using OEM glass and I would be paying cash. That should have been the end of it. Why did they feel the need to go out of their way giving all these ridiculous scenarios and excuses for FYG? It implies that they don't believe me at all. I finally did get a quote for OEM glass with them. I called Friday 10/2 and gave them the go ahead to order the part and the install, also sent an email. No response by Monday 10/5 so I sent Jennifer another email. No response. Then on Tuesday 10/6 I sent another follow up email and got no response again. That confirms they just ghosted me. Arrogant, Passive-Aggressive, and Impatient are the words I'd use to describe the owners of Clear Quality Auto Glass. If your car doesn't have HUD, you'll most likely be happy with aftermarket FYG. However if it does, I implore you to be cautious and do your research, and also get them to explicitly state that they will warranty your glass should it cause issues.

"Get Hit by a Rock?! Call Brock!" -- And I'm Glad I Did!…read more A bird of prey dropped a rock on my Mercedes and cracked the windshield! Yes, really--a bird of prey. If ever there were a perfect occasion for the slogan "Get hit by a rock?! Call Brock!", this was it. My insurance company initially refused to authorize OEM Mercedes glass and instead insisted on aftermarket Chinese glass. Their designated glass affiliate would not install OEM glass under my insurance plan. Brock advocated for me and made it happen. From the beginning, Brock's knowledge, confidence, and understanding of the insurance process were extremely reassuring. He knew how to navigate the situation, communicate with the insurance company, and ultimately obtain the OEM glass that I wanted for my Mercedes. Once everything was arranged, Brock sent two clean, qualified, knowledgeable, and professional technicians to my home. They arrived promptly as scheduled and handled the installation with care and professionalism. What impressed me most was the service throughout the entire experience. Brock didn't simply arrange a windshield replacement--he listened to my concerns, understood why OEM glass mattered to me, advocated on my behalf, and followed through. Brock's impeccable service makes Preferred Chip Repair a company to remember--for all the right reasons. If you get hit by a rock--whether it comes from the road or apparently falls from the sky--call Brock!

I can't recommend Preferred Chip Repair & Replacement enough! Brock was amazing to work with and…read moremade the entire process completely seamless. They came directly to our home, worked with our insurance company to handle the claim, and took care of everything from start to finish. We have a special-edition BMW X7, and I really appreciated that they made sure to source the exact original glass rather than using an aftermarket replacement. The installation was flawless, they were finished in under two hours, and the entire experience was effortless. Professional, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

Some douchebag smashed my rear window while I was in the store grocery shopping for 20-25 minutes…read more Came out to see my trusty old Honda with the back window smashed in, glass shards everywhere and if it weren't for the film from safety glass or the window tinting, the jagged mess might be worst than trying to clean up minced fiberglass. Anyway, called Metro and was told as nicely as possible that this type of property damage crimes, where no victims were hurt, is just way too NOT important to trouble the hard working Metro officers that (I PRESUME) prefers to earn the department money by issuing traffic citations or shooting the random homeless mental patient or having free buffet at all of the many casinos in the greater Las Vegas community. So while debating if I should transition into a potentially very lucrative criminal career, where I avoid inflicting anyone with physical trauma (which seems to be the criteria of what might forced the laziest of Metro police officers to get involved and actually work) and do my underworld business of unauthorized ATM withdraws (Metro ain't got time for that! They told me that, after verifying that I was not assulted or otherwise physically hurt in the process); paying for one movie and staying to watch another; I am just not gonna tip that nice minimum wage earning waiter for bringing out my food, because I used a Groupon and he thought it is okay to automatically add 18% for smiling; work my way up the ladder at a government agency, then secretly misappropriate millions into my numbered accounts in preferred tax havens like... the Cayman Islands, Switzerland? Come on, anyone that watches movies know all about those nice banks with the nice lobbies and well dressed bankers. So does Uncle Sam's tax agents. Botswana, Singapore, Isle of Man, South Africa, South Korea, Brunei, Russia, these are way more under the radar my tax dodging friends. But I digress. I have a problem. My car window was violated and laid shattered on my backseat. Easy target for even the most unmotivated opportunistic criminals lurking potentially in the deepest recesses of all of us. How much is it going to cost? Is it even worth using insurance I pay like clockwork, but luckily never have to use very often. After typing in a search on the Internet and filling out an online form requesting a quote, I got a text fairly quickly and a call from someone with a reasonable damage assessment for my wallet. An appointment was made for the next day and I texted the required information for the installer (Jose and his son from Star Auto Glass) to get to the location of my vehicle. Jose and his son actually arrived 30 minutes earlier than expected, which was great. They verified that the replacement window fits my car, and got to work cleaning up the mess from the break in and also the shattered shards of glass inside the door panel (pretty sure rattling noises from bits of glass while I drive would annoy the heck out of me). Within the hour, the job was complete and the work verified. I paid the quoted cash discounted price and with a friendly handshake concluded the satisfactory business transaction resulted from a very nasty surprise. Since this type of unpleasantness happens a lot here in Las Vegas. If you need this type of repair work done on your car, definitely get a quote from them. Oh by the way, images of James Bond's car exploding and killing the bad guy that smashed his parked Aston Martin (or whatever luxury car manufacturer that happened to sponsored the movie I am thinking of) popped into my head. Yeah, be great if that happened. Take that you swine, and may your pork belly eternally burn in hell. 5 stars!!! Auto glass repair experience.
