They delivered it the same day, but it was not quality wood nor was it 400+ pieces. The guy who delivered it said it was only a face cord. It wasn't even that. It was covered in snow, ice and grass. I contacted them to let them know I was very disappointed and the guy I spoke to was very unprofessional and rude. The pieces of wood were spongy and most were only about 8". There were a lot of little pieces of wood and nothing over 10".

We found this company on yelp recommendations for tree services. We contacted them at 8:00 in the…read moremorning and asked if they gave free estimates, and specified that we did not want any work done till we had a quote and confirmed. They arrived with in 30 minutes of the quoted time. After looking at the situations, we asked for a quote for just tree cutting (cutting the fallen tree to manageable sections) and one quote for complete removal. The complete removal was quoted to be $1400. I said that it sounded great and asked him to please send me a written quote to ensure that the price and work expectations will be the same. He said okay, and asked me to text the email to him. Within roughly less than 3 hours, and 4 exchanges... he finally sent me a written quote of $2100. When inquired if it was an error, he texted back and said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make a decision" 10:20 I texted my email to him as requested at the end of meeting 11:50 He texted me and that he sent the quote. He only sent for cut only, not for cut and haul. So I immediately asked for a full clearing quote. 1:09 I get the quote for full clear and asked if it was an error - much more than discussed 1:19 he said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make the decisions." A company that literally jacked up your price because you were shopping for a quote - is not trustworthy to perform work without written quote.. Would not recommend work without written quote for buyer protection. We did not have them waiting for an unreasonable amount of time by any stretch of the imagination - most of it was waiting for them to send me written quotes. Pictures just to give you the idea of how interested I was and really wanted a written estimate.

After explaining my situation, he advised me to go with a different approach (dry seeding), especially considering the size of my yard, and suggested specific grasses to help with wear and tear due to my dogs, Today, approx 2 months later, my two large dogs and I have thick grass where there was only rock and dirt. Pros: Quick service (Yahle had a crew working nearby and an employee was at my door in less than 30 minutes with an estimate!), honest and up-front advice and estimates, and personal service. I called and called and was promised several times that they would come out and make it right - Lies! Never showed or replaced the plants the last time he called me ( Late July 2020) to say he would be out in a few days he told me that normally he charges for the replacement plants but he wouldn't in this case like he was doing me some great favor!! I have found M M Tree Service to be disrespectful of my property while performing work on my neighbor's properties. As a senior female I find it distressing that Mr. Moore would drive his trucks onto my lawn to perform work on my neighbors property. I sent him a pleasant email several weeks ago to ask why he would show such disrespect, affording him the opportunity to reply. Instead of driving across the lawn where he was working he drove across my lawn, causing damage to the curb space, ripping up sod. He did not request my permission to enter my property. Even though he was doing work for my neighbor and my neighbor did not want him driving across his lawn I find it inexcusable Mr. Moore would show such disregard for my property. This demonstrates a lack of professionalism and good business practice. Mr. Moore chose not to respond to my first contact. Yesterday, 09/22/2020, he was at my neighbors property again. I spoke with the driver who admitted he had driven across my lawn, and he acknowledged it was wrong, and promised not to do it again. I was in and out taking care of business yesterday, and when I returned I noticed M M Tree Services had once again driven across my lawn, leaving tracks, and smashed the cover to the electric box that is clearly on my property. How can a business thrive with that type of wanton disregard? Mr. Moore never took the time to speak with me or offer any apologies, and his driver clearly lied when he said he would not drive across my lawn again. This type of behavior is not one of a reputable business owner. Granted, my lawn may not be as pristine as my neighbors, but I am a senior female struggling to recover from the tornado damage done to my home and property. Mr. Moore's disrespect adds to my distress. Anyone else willing to hire him should do so with caution, because if he disregards other properties, it is likely he will also disregard yours.
