Do yourself and family a favor and use a service that understands professional standards and the emotions a family faces at this time of grief and try's to ease the grief not add to it.

From my grandmother and several uncles to my dad, who incidentally he shut down his chapel for a week to use that room as my dad's viewing room because of the overwhelming number of people that would be coming to pay their respects, and most recently to my wife's funeral where we had picked out the casket we wanted but they did not have it in the colors we wanted that would represent our children's School colors. We did not ask but Joel called the casket company and had one rushed over in those exact colors and it was actually an upgraded casket and did not charge us extra and surprised us with it upon our first viewing. He is always been willing to go over and above and beyond in our time of need and pain. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about how I admire and respect Lewis funeral home. My family has used Lewis funeral home over the past 30 years with several family members and I, nor any of my family members, have ever had anything negative to say about Joel Lewis and his funeral home.

We were looking for a septic company that could install a new system for my father's new house. We…read moreheard a lot of great quality work done by Gates Excavation & Hauling Inc. They were also local so that was another plus for our project. I made contact with Gates Excavation & Hauling Inc. and setup an appointment with Brian to come out and take a look at the property for the new septic system. Brian was very nice and patient with all the questions we had and gave us plenty of advice of how to set everything up. After our visit we decided to get our next appointment setup. Once we got the perk test done we moved forward on having the permit sent into the State and schedule when the work would be started. We had tons of other questions about the job and a couple other side jobs we wanted to knock out while the were on our property. I had made several calls and Zina the secretary was able to answer all my questions throughout the whole time the project was ongoing. The equipment operator (Patrick) was very nice and he would explain the whole process and ask how I would like to do a few things. On a couple occasions I changed my mind on part of the project and asked to do it a different way. He didnt complain or get mad at me. His work was very clean and he kept me informed of what the next part of the job would be. The project was completed in a timely fashion and the price was fair especially for all the rock that needed to be dug up. Thank you to all the workers of Gates Excavation.
