Today I took Dustin the neck rod out of my sister's beloved stuffed giraffe. A child had hung on the giraff's neck and broken the joint. Dustin welded a sleeve onto the neck rod and it fit over the broken stub inside the neck as if it were made for it. Perfect fix again. Thanks, Dustin! p.s. I live in Santa Rosa and drove to Fairfield for this. That's how much I trust Dustin's work and ingenuity. Seriously, anything to do with metal, this guy knows his stuff.

His level of detail orientation is superb. He very White. We guided us toward our decisions which ended up being exactly right. There was a tricky tricky aspect to this which he astutely addressed . We ended up with a railing that look like it was original to the house which was built in 1940. We also have at our house and a back door that is awkward and two steps down. He installed a really nice handrailing there that makes me feel so much safer going in and out of that door. I highly recommend this company.

No one showed up. Called later and he apologized. Went back 2 days later and met with him. Laid out project and dimensions. He told me to go home and find 2 designs that he would forward to a sign company. He would then transfer their work to metal panels then send out to painter for power coating. I did as he asked and e-mailed two designs. 10 days, not a word. Send him an e-mail expressing frustration. He said since I was short with him good luck finding someone else. Gas, time (wasted) no phone call. Just bad business. Don't waste your time like I did.

Made the appointment, Chris arrived, listened to our concerns, saw our needs. Took his initial measurements, a few days later we received Onspots bid. Chris let us know it might take as long as 4 to 6 months. We'd already been in the home 38 years, what's a few more months for something we need. Chris came back for a second measurement (measure twice, cut once), then one additional time to to select the handrail style, end cap (whatever it's called) and primer color. Six months later (Today), Miles and Ben delivered and installed everything - we love the results! Thank you Onspot Welding for the craftsmanship in our product, the wait was worth it. Sean, the welder came to my house within a 1-2 wks and we made measurements and plans for a custom drapery rod. I thought all was good. We agreed upon a price. I have no ideas what happenned. I thought I was being patient and easy to reach, etc. I find this has really thrown off my project - as I am now having to look for another welding professional -- essentailly strung along for a month and then no return calls for 3-- almost 4 wks. now. Disappointing experience overall…read more Verbal bid was given of 10k to 11k for the job over a FaceTime phone call as the project was explained. I politely asked if he could please try to keep it near the 10k. Written bid came in over 11k. (11,700$) Discussed that the bracing for the large metal stairs should probably be secured by something more than anchoring into stucco. To add proper supports the bid goes up again to over 12k. (12,800$) I would have liked a more professional experience where pricing didn't keep changing and for Christian to take the lead on making the stairs braced correctly and safely from jump. He kept saying this is simple we don't need to discuss the job so much. Also I had originally texted him to FaceTime me when he was onsite. He was on time but didn't respond to my texts. Had to wait 20 minutes for a response. He already left the job. Had to drive back to the job to be able to Facetime me. It is a large job that involves a lot of safety concerns. Was really looking for more professionalism to have the job bid correctly from the beginning and the scope of the job to be discussed throughly on time to get it created safely.
