This has been the most disappointing hairstyle I have ever gotten. I went to a consultation the…read moreweek before with one of the stylist and she said that what I want is doable. I ended up being scheduled with someone else because I was confident that no matter who I got, I would end up loving the results, unfortunately, that was not the case this time. Now when I showed up, I showed the hairstylist the video of the hair color that I wanted and explained to her that I understand that my hair won't look exactly like the video due to the girl having a shorter haircut , but I did say that I did want the raccoon tail. One side of the blonde is more gold than the other and she told me that I have to come back at the END of the service. As you can see it it's just a simple two tone hairstyle. Not to mention at the end of the service she did not blow out my hair but instead tried to style it curly because that's my natural hair, but it ended up looking really bad. I'm not sure how else I could've communicated to get the results I wanted. Yes, I should have told her that I wanted my hair to be blown out, but by this time I just wanted to leave. I did schedule an appointment to get the blonde piece in the front fixed but at this point, I think I'm gonna cancel and move on. The hair color itself is not bad whatsoever and I think she did great on the haircut! Unfortunately, the color is not what I asked for. Looking back the sectioning of the blonde isn't great either. One side of my hair has 2x more blonde than the other. This overall felt rushed. Not sure what I can do myself to fix my hair but I don't think I will be going back here for a color service for a long time and if I do it won't be with that stylist. EDIT: the response to this is ridiculous. Did you want me to say to the hairstylist "No, I'm not comfortable with you doing my hair because you have carpal tunnel" Why would I have a problem with that?! A poor job shouldn't be excused just because I said it was ok for her to do my hair even though she was having a flare up. It's not up to me to gauge if she was in proper condition to do my hair. I'm confused how that's falling on me. She could've easily canceled the hair appointment and all of this could've been avoided. Besides the blonde piece in the front that was gold, which I understood, she still did not follow what I asked. For $314 not including tip it would've been nice to have my hair done right. No offense to her, but why would you guys think I would trust her to fix it coming back a second time. For her to rush it again? Should I ask her if she's having a flare up and if she's going to be ok to do my hair? No thank you.

It's only her and her mom there so if anything goes wrong you're at their mercy. My only option was to go back for her to add and smooth out my layers and she refused a 50% refund I requested since I am having to go get the color and serious cut corrected. Not sure why anyone would go back to someone who does this initially doesn't take ownership of their mistake. As you can tell from the photo I don't need anymore layers. After attempting a refund she sent me $25 via Facebook which I don't even have set to obtain funds vs the 225 I paid. $25 alone was for tip and I didn't say anything at the appointment because it was curled so couldn't tel until I straightened it. She has been going to the "the best hair Solon in Peoria" for a long time and almost always Lisa is the stylist who sees her. Almost always Stephanie is the receptionist who handles our appointments. I have two observations to share: 1. Her hair looks beautiful after every visit. She loves it. I love it. That's worth the trip in itself. But there is more. 2. She is treated with sensitivity and love. It is more than customer care; it is human caring and understanding and patience. There is no fee that can buy that. It comes from another motivation. If you want quality of service that is packaged with character, look no further. I will never take her anywhere else. How can you beat the best? Stylist: Savannah Review: Overall, Savannah was pleasant but not very talkative. I was nervous about going with a new stylist because I have naturally curly hair, but I felt at ease after she shared her years of experience. I showed her a couple of pictures of what I was looking for, and she seemed confident. The haircut took about 10 minutes, and I quickly realized she cut way too much hair. I wasn't sure how to feel but thought I would go home and style it myself. She did not blow it out. I was hoping that once home and styled, it would look better. Unfortunately, it didn't. I emailed the salon to express my dissatisfaction but never received a response or call. I have waited almost three weeks before writing this review, hoping the cut would grow on me, but it just seems to get worse. It's an uneven, choppy haircut. It's extremely short, and somehow the back is shorter than the front. I've even tried straightening it, but it doesn't look any better. This feels like a haircut you give someone you hate. It has completely shot my confidence. I hope this review helps others avoid what I'm going through and helps Savannah get proper training on cutting curly hair.
