Never returns your calls. I needed refills on my medications but they never return your calls.

Worst PA in the world I have had him as my therapist for 2 years and the only reason I stayed is because he gave me my Adderall although it was never on time I didn't really wanna look for another therapist. This dude has prescribed me like 15 different medications that I don't need that I don't even take. I'm pretty sure he is out of business now but if ever comes back unless you want 45 different medication prescribed to you or late prescription orders I wouldn't recommend him. read more

I'm extremely disappointed. I saw a counselor once. He ordered a lot of bloodwork. I went and had it done. The next appointment was over the phone. Video didn't work. He told me he had only received the cover page of the blood test results and asked if he could call me back later that day. He never got back to me. That was well over two months ago. That's not okay when you are dealing with people's mental health and asking them to do a lot of bloodwork. read more

Wayne really cares about his patients and makes them feel welcome. He's friendly and has a sense of humor. He makes me feel comfortable to talk about everything and really has a keen knowledge of medications and is thorough with his approach to give you the best treatment available. I have been seeing him for myself and my daughter and have recommended him to family. I am deeply grateful. read more

Dr. McKenzie and his staff are extremely rude and unwelcoming. If you need a Saturday appt, get ready to see Doctors who may quit next week and have little to no experience. The receptionist is incompetent and super unpleasant to deal with. This office does not know how to bill the insurance correctly so be sure to check the dates they said you showed up for appointments and their doctor notes. I was shocked and very disappointed with the inaccuracies of the doctors notes that I reviewed after asking for my medical records. I don't know how I tolerated this doctor and his practice ... the place smells like a cigars lounge and super dusty. read more

I really wish I would have read prior reviews, especially on Google because all of the ones where people experiences bad experiences have come true.... and Dr Wayne Mackenzie is okay but his office staff - one woman, makes his service unbearable. She is rude, condescending, and always says "how do I know, I'm not a psychiatrist, I'm just front desk." I've tried and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But I highly advise against starting services here. Every month my sons Rx gets called In late & if you're a parent of a kiddo NEEDING their meds daily, this is completely unacceptable. I totally understand things come up but with horrible front desk staff, I cannot continue to keep excusing monthly mistakes. A good attitude goes a long way! read more

My first day of counseling supposed to be, and they just told me they want to reschedule after waiting 15 minutes because, Connie, counselor supposed to be is not in and no one else has the license to do counseling to cover for her after I asked for someone else. I am furious as people are so messed up and did not sleep as I was looking forward to this. This is not acceptable. They should have at least gave me a courtesy call before i left my house. This is way the hell to Timbuktu only to be told it's a no go. They should be paying me for this as if it was me who will be a no show, they would charge me for it. Grrr....i knew right from the start I shouldn't have come here. I was lost the first time I came here, I had to circle the building 3x as it keeps showing arrive in front of the jungle gym and even the Nail salon is prominent. A few other people came before me who got lost as well. Jungle gym was the one who told me it's right next door. No sign. You wouldn't notice unless you get right in front of the door. First evaluation, they had me fill up a thick paper work and wait more than 30 mins to have someone to talk. I finally talked to Katrina-intake eval (she was nice to give credit) but, she was pushing on the meds that she said will be on CVS same day or the next but, never came after having visited CVS pharmacy 3x. I was skeptic about taking that meds anyway and then, they want me to get DNA test and they ran out of the kit. I have been so patient with this Agape Service Center, but, I ended up just cancelling all my appointments as I don't wanna suffer more from their mismanagement. Not acceptable. Once again. I do hope you guys will assess your services as negligence like this, could cause someone's life for all you know. The star is for Katrina. This place doesn't answer the phone or emails. Unable to get prescription or appointments.

I am diagnosed with autism. Within the first 5 minutes of our first session, Wayne proclaimed that I don't have autism because I "can tell the difference between a smile and a frown." He also told me I have ADHD, which I certainly do not, and had expressed zero symptoms of. He spent half the session rambling about topics that had nothing to do with my mental health. When he actually DID address my psychiatric concerns, he made bold (and entirely false) claims about the symptoms I was experiencing, and did not seem to have any interest in hearing to my point of view. I don't think I was able to finish any of my sentences because he was constantly interrupting with his opinion or some unrelated anecdote. He acts like he knows everything all while spewing completely inaccurate information. I have no idea how he still has a license after so many years of terrible reviews. Seeing him was truly one of the most absurd experiences I've ever had, and I would not trust him to adequately care for anybody's mental health. read more

At my appointment with Mackenzie yesterday, he was rude, condescending, and refused to work with me because I did not meekly submit to him. He provoked me into reacting to him and then sarcastically derided me for reacting (typical bully tactic). He used carefully chosen words to call me stupid and got very angry--face red, eyes bulging and glaring. He walks around the office like a king surveying his servants (the nurses in training), has them do the interviewing, and then comes into the meeting to proclaim from on high what is going to happen. There is no discussion, no compromise. He is a bully. I hope to God that the nurses in training don't believe he is anything short of abusive. If they follow his path, they will fail as human beings with empathy. read more

I always schedule with Wayne Mackenzie. He's super funny and really down to earth. All other NP's I've been to before couldn't find medications that helped me even after months of going back and retrying. But as soon as I saw Wayne, he helped me get the proper medication I needed right away and didn't play guinea pig games with me. He's very professional and straight forward with a good sense of humour and great knowledge of his field. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I waited for hours on the phone to get an appt first off. Then when I do get one I show up and the doors are locked. I call and call to Wayne answering saying his staff is out with covid and quit last min so it's just him. That's fine, I understand things happen. So after 20 minutes of standing outside in the hot sun he brings me in and hands me more paperwork to fill out. I finish quickly and he says he will be with me soon. However when I'm sitting for an HOUR waiting to be seen while you're on the phone taking other phone calls, that is absurd and extremely unprofessional. By the way, Isaac, I know all about your eating disorder and your ADD since he had your entire call on speakerphone for me to clearly hear. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a medical professional. Please read the reviews and listen to them. Also yes this place was disgusting and looked like it's never been cleaned. I was a patient at Agape for almost 2 years. I was in a really good place so would really just come in and check in and just to get my meds refilled. Wayne is not very professional but it kind of gave me an outlet to be a little unprofessional myself so I let it slide. During the pandemic I ran out of meds so I called the office and left a message with the receptionist to let him know I needed a refill sent in. A week goes by and no refill. At this point I start rationing my meds so I don't have horrible with-drawl symptoms when I inevitably run out. I call again, the receptionist says, "oh my gosh he never sent it? I'll send him another message". Another weeks goes by, still no meds and now I'm completely out. I called and say I need an appointment ASAP. I get a virtual appointment for the next day. One of his medical students calls me and goes through the whole thing asking how I'm feeling and what not. I let them know how I'm feeling having been of my meds for a few days because I can't seem to get a refill. The kicker? Medical student says "oh yea that's been happening a lot lately!" So he says he'll talk to doctor Wayne and call me back. He calls back and says prescription was sent. Never got the meds. I did however get a bill for $162 for the appointment I had to make with a medical student to end up not getting my meds filled. Picked up my files and never went back. read more

Wayne MacKenzie is the most unreliable, disingenuous, self absorbed practitioner I've ever worked with. I was specifically told that he'd like to fill certain prescriptions or he won't get the vendor samples which he needs. Why? His words "I can't afford health insurance." Significant red flag. I failed to find any authenticity. He talks a lot, perhaps preaches, hence fails to intently listen to his patients. There's no listening in my experience and zero listening, just a lot of "preaching" So to speak. One size fits all seems to be the standard medication. Usually Prozac which many like myself, can't toleration Prozac. We're all different and have various diagnosis's. We need to have our practitioner become our trusted provider. Scheduling an an appointment is a full time job. Allow your several weeks to get a staff member to either answer the phone or return a voicemail. We're patients with mental Disorders and don't need the medical practitioners to cause furthers mental Flare ups nme to distress. read more

Nurse Wayne McKenzie is the worst healthcare professional (if you can even call him that) that I have ever worked with. My son is no longer a patient with him. He is an absolute nightmare and constantly treated my family and I as if we were idiots. He blamed a hospital medication mistake (which was something completely out of my control) on me and told me that if my son had a relapse it would be my fault. I told him over and over again, its not working for me and please prescribe me different prescription. He told me, "it takes time, it works for all my patients." I have seen wayne Mackenzie twice. the first time he was pleasant. The second time he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He sat there and watched me have a full blown panic attack. I curled up into a ball, was hyperventilating and crying my eyes out, I couldn't even breathe nor say one word. i was maybe aloud to say about 10 words when i finally was able to talk. He continued to sit there and call me a dead horse and started comparing himself to me. He said it was "unfortunate" that marijuana gave me worse anxiety instead of helping. He continued to say that he just smokes a lot of weed to help himself and his "anxiety". i strongly advise that you steer far away from him and his "advice". He was very unprofessional and extremely rude when i was having a hard time. Do not bother wasting your time. i also believe that because i have Cigna AND mercy care & it pretty much covers me all the way around, he was upset because i did not have to pay out of pocket.
