Enough stuff so you aren't waiting for equipment like at lifetime. - Cleanliness: 10/10 this is the best maintained gym and you always see staff cleaning. Other gyms please take note. - Owners: 10/10 Both powerlifters who clearly take pride in their gym - Trainers: 10/10 I have only trained with Isaac, but he has been incredible. I've struggled with injuries and he knows how to adjust form/exercise to safely push yourself until you're wrecked lol. Also great help with rehab exercises. - Staff: 8/10, mostly everyone is really 10/10, but there is one guy who is like an NPC. If you don't ask one of his pre-programmed questions, he has no idea what to do. It hasn't been an issue for me, but I think this is where one of the negative reviews is coming from. - Water: 8/10, this is a huge one for me where LV struggles over and over, they at least use a filter. If you are not a power lifter, I can see how this gym would be intimidating. At Powerhouse, I'm probably in the bottom 15-20% fitness-wise, but at other gyms I would probably fall more in the middle. Don't let it stop you from giving it a try, they really maintain an encouraging, supportive environment!

I thought I was lucky to find a Power House Gym. I wanted to train everyday while on vacation and show my son what a real gym looks like. On top of paying guest fees for two people for 4 days, I had intentions of buying him at least $300 of merchandise as well. It literally took me 30 minutes to drive from my Air BnB to that gym. The moron at the front desk took his sweet time having a personal conversation with someone and when he finally decided to pay me and my son any attention, he simply told me to scan the QR code and then kept on with his conversation. I don't know if he was one of the owners or not, but this type of customer service is just poor. I came with the intention of spending a lot of money in that business but after dealing with that I just refuse.

Shameka, the manager, is a very classy, professional woman that has the gym running flawlessly at all times with the help of her excellent crew. And while I've enjoyed interacting with all of them, I want to bring special attention to my two faves, Yatzari and Ashley. Let's start with Yatzari, the lovely Egyptian girl that works mornings. This woman has a wonderful disposition. Never in a bad mood and always very well put together - hair, makeup, outfit ... everything on point. Somehow she makes the basic PF uniform of a polo shirt and khakis look like high fashion. And her stylish appearance doesn't hinder her strong work ethic in the slightest. Whether she's answering the phone, checking in members or organizing the weights, it's pure beast mode all the time with Yatzi. However, I must say, she is a study in contradictions, because although Yatzi claims to have scoliosis, she has the posture of a Greek statue. Seriously, she is as upright as an NFL goal post. There is no slouch in her game ... at all. And another claim that she makes that's even more dubious than the crooked spine is that she's actually Mexican, not Egyptian ... but c'mon, let's keep it 100 ... her name is YATZARI. The only name more Egyptian than that is Cleopatra. And come to think of it, she does kinda look like Cleopatra in that one painting of her in profile wearing that bird hat. Yeah, put a bird hat on Yatzi; have her turn to the side, and boom, Cleopatra. As for Ashley, saying she's got a gifted personality is an understatement, because she WILL brighten your day, and she WILL make you feel welcome ... VERY welcome ... VERY loudly (I hear her enthusiastic "Hello, Hello!" in my sleep), and if you're lucky, she might even call you "lovely." The first time she called me that, I thought to myself: "Did that new girl just call me lovely? .... Yeah, I think she did ... and I think I like it." Haha. Needless to say, Ashley's been a terrific addition to the gym with her unmatched humor and endless energy, and even though she's only been with PF for just a couple of months, she's already been promoted to assistant manager. Sloooow down, girl. At that pace, you'll be CEO this time next year. So there you have it. You wanna join a great gym with awesome people? This is the place. I've been a member of nearly a dozen gyms over the years, and I can honestly say this is BY FAR my favorite. The only negative experience was seeing paramedics enter the gym and being told that management no longer allows first responders to use the restrooms unless they have an active membership. That was a little disheartening to hear, especially from a gym that promotes free access for teens during the summer. The concept for teens is fantastic and I'm not taking away from that--but offering free access to one group while restricting something as basic as restroom use for first responders seems confusing. I'm not sure if this is a policy at all Planet Fitness locations or just this one, but I'd be curious to know the reasoning. The staff handled the situation very professionally and kindly, though they did seem uncomfortable having to explain it. The delivery was excellent--the message itself, however, was disappointing. Hopefully, there's a valid explanation beyond simply "no membership."

When I spoke to DJ in about this, he said it doesnt matter what the reason was and I wasn't allowed to talk to no one else. When I asked what can the bank provide me so if shows this wasn't fault on my own, he also didn't not care and did state he didn't care if I left LVAC since I haven't been a member long enough. This is how LVAC treats its members.

I was as in-depth as I could be here...having written more, I couldn't fit it all into the character count. My 5 star was changed to 1 star today! Unsatisfied! Here's why.. I purchased a 3-month package at $200, up front. That is $69 a month, already over-priced but hey I supported!! I went here weekly for 3 months, at first, I bought into it thinking it would be good idea due to the turn-out at the free party they had! I liked the energy at the free party! That made me ask about pricing. Never did I once ask about if the membership was free, or if anything was free. I asked about pricing. I spoke to someone over text and I even asked about pricing about their podcast room. I was WRONGFULLY accused on text by JOE, that I was asking for something free, when in reality, over text, I asked about pricing, I asked about the podcast room and was told by their podcast guy, what he'd charge me, to use the podcast room and what he wouldn't charge me to use the podcast room. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE on their part. The first straw! RED FLAG! Anyways, I started to go to the gym, I kept to myself, using the door system, having read the instructions on how this is a NON-SUPERVISED GYM, so I just did my own thing while there, getting out my own equipment, on my 2nd day there, I was RUBBED THE WRONG WAY again, by a staff, named GREG, who I didn't know, who didn't know me, he approached me from behind, he did not carefully introduce himself, he just TOLD me-as asking me if I could put away my rack, in which I didn't remember leaving a rack out, but if I did, I wasn't done with it, I said to him, why didn't you introduce urself, first? He responded with disrespect that it didn't matter either way he worked there and they put their stuff back! Hahahaha really? My intuition never lies to me! I just knew he was targeting me. He had targeted me on MY first day working-out there, he came to me randomly, & asked me if he could use the same equipment I was using, while I was using it... I felt like it was an attention grab w/ the wrong approach and yes I sent the gym owner a text about it letting him know his staff didnt have manners!!!! As I started to go there, I noticed, JOE told me how they put their equipment back, how they keep the gym clean and from my daily perspective, that was a false statement. Countless times: I've seen equipment being left out, no supervision, no one telling someone to put their stuff back, I've seen countless times the gym was dirty, dusty, nasty smelling restrooms, sink was broken, restrooms smelling like crap, trash cans filled to the top, lots of dust on the equipment, floors filthy... so the whole truth wasn't being told. But none the less I held back and held my composure to at the least get my money worth. BROKEN DOOR!!! 2x.. So I went there literally for 3 months straight, till the end of my 3 month membership. I was targeted total 5x by GREG... none of the times was he POLITE, or friendly, but was to other people there. I noticed this and stop going there due to him rubbing me the wrong way MANY TIMES! I FELT TRAPPED! I've spent my hard earned money there and I demand effortless customer support which was NOT RECEIVED.... The owner JOE, could had gave me another 2 weeks... (I asked to freeze my last 2 weeks) but I didn't use my last 2 weeks..... on the house... since I paid for those weeks and didnt USE THEM, just to show remorse & to COOPERATE with me. Once again, he didn't, he's a bad sign, has bad juju. I today asked for a refund since they billed me again for a 4th month at $69 on auto pay without my permission.... I believe they said I it would be auto pay after the 3 months is up, but I wasn't made aware or asked again if I wanted to continue being billed. Which I didnt. I stopped going here little by little over time in the last 3rd month. BIG lack of understanding...... A business can easily work with you and say hey, I'll refund you, knowing u won't be back and thanks for letting me know right away, having missed your freeze and you haven't been back since... I understand. But NO... he wants ur money!! I've kept it professional and held back, held my composure focusing on my workouts soley but mannnn, NO, I wouldn't had committed to a contact here! Just wasn't for me. I now have access to 2 FREE modern gyms & 2 new free podcast spaces elsewhere, can come and go as I please. No hassle. The very unprofessional OWNER JOE, leaving a fake response to me.....he was texting me at the same time being fake!! At that time my blood panel lab work showed an elevated ALT (liver enzyme reading) of 69, above the normal range of 56. A number that high tends to indicate the liver is being affected typically by high alcohol consumption or fatty liver aka excess visceral fat encasing the liver and I don't have a drinking problem. After following healthier eating habits and working out five days consistently at HCF, my new lab work taken the last week of April 2022 shows my ALT at 16. That is a decrease of 53 points. So while I've lost 31 pounds on the outside so far, this measurement tells me I am without question becoming healthier on the inside too.

First, the pool was closed and walled off. Then the steam room stopped working and was shut down. Now the sauna -- one of the last remaining amenities -- is in terrible condition and has been neglected for weeks. There is a thick layer of dirt, debris, and bacteria buildup in the sauna that has clearly not been cleaned in a long time. It is visibly unsanitary and completely unacceptable in a space meant for health and wellness. On top of that, several of the wooden boards are broken, creating a dangerous trip and injury hazard. These boards have been damaged for weeks with no repair. Members are paying for a facility that is not being properly maintained. Cleanliness and basic safety should be non-negotiable, especially in high-heat environments where bacteria can thrive. See attached photos showing the layers of dirt, trash, and broken boards that have been left unaddressed. This is one of the worst gym maintenance experiences I've had. I hope management takes immediate action to restore cleanliness and safety for its members.
