Was told with demo that deliver would take 1-2 hours of my day. Because they had to send a 2n md person to actually do the demo, had to go back again for missing parts, it was 8 hours! My entire day! No apology. I ordered lights in mid July, told a few weeks, it's now mid October with no delivery date yet. I will say the tech who did come out to do the demo, and discovered the missing parts, was a great guy. Seemed to know his stuff. Too bad he is retiring. Hate to drive so far for parts and service, but to avoid this place, will be worth it. Two stars because the tech was helpful.

Figured out what I needed, fuel filter was about a third the price as Napa. Next I talked to Ryan the sales manager. I Had some questions about the value of my tractor, he took his time, looked it up and gave me some ideas on selling it. I asked if service was open to get some help with my fuel system. He took me in the back and we found Luke, the outside guru jack of all Kubota mechanic. I told him my problem and he took the time to tell me what I needed and walked me through how to fix my problem. Can't say enough good about these guys. Most places would just blow you off and say go look it up on YouTube. Keep it up Small town service still has what it takes. Steve

The part had taken 3 weeks to come in so the guy asked if we wanted a loaner and we said yes. He called JL's appliance to see if they would give us a loaner and pick ours up for repair and they agreed. Nobody said anything about a delivery charge but when the washer was fix (or so they say) they expect us (we're in our 60's) to load up their washer, take it to them and get our washer. If a delivery fee was mentioned up front we wouldn't have gotten the loaner. My husband tried tallking to the owner but she was rude and told him they just bought the busiuness and that gas was expensive. I wouldnt' ever buy anything from this compnay again.

I needed a freezer for my garage so I went to FB marketplace and found one. The seller said he'd…read moredeliver it. As it turned out, it was Jaime from Salem Appliance Service and Repair. As a used freezer, he gave me a 30 day guarantee. Well, after about 2 months, the freezer still worked but wasn't freezing things hard, like ice cream, and was collecting a lot of frost, more than normal. So I called Jaime and explained what was going on and needed a different freezer. He didn't have another one so he told me to look online and find one and he'd go pick it up for me at no charge, but I had to pay for the freezer. No problem, I knew the one I got from Jaime was over the guarantee time. After I received the new one, which the seller delivered so Jaime didn't have to go get it, I called Jaime to come and get the old one so I didn't have to pay someone to haul it away. Jaime came to get it and, can you believe it, he offered my money back. I only took 1/2 but damn, that's customer service. Thank you Jaime, you run your business like you're selling to friends or family. I really appreciate how you operate.

We called Salem Appliance Repair and a technician came out, looked it over, unplugged it, waited a bit, and plugged it back in. Said to call them back if that did not solve the problem. That was ALL he did. Unplug it and plug it back in. They could have told me to try that over the phone. Charged me $75 for five minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.

Finally I took the unit into the shop and was told now that I had passed 30 days ( by 3 days) my only option was to sell it my self and buy a new one since I can't use the original one I offered to pay the difference in the models prices and $100 L and L said no. I then asked if they could help me out on the price of the second unit and was told no discounts were available When I returned home I found they have a 10 percent off coupon on purchases over $75 in a local flyer my weedeater was over $500 ! I have known both the previous owners and had a great deal of respect for Ted who recently passed away I am sure he would be ashamed of the way I was treated. I would prefer to support local businesses but I would suggest you avoid L L
