However, our pool budget left us about 1000 sf of unfinished space (we have a pretty big backyard). We initially planned on covering that space with decorative rock, but after seeing numerous turf and putting green projects on IG, we knew that would be a way better option for us in the long run. RP Synthetic was top on my list after coming across their IG. I saw that they had 5 star ratings on Google & Yelp and decided to book an estimate with them. I also booked other estimates with a couple other companies, but Rigo was able to book us faster than the others. We had about 9 estimates done for our pool, so we honestly didn't have high expectations that the first turf company would check off everything on our list. Maaaaaan were we wrong. When we met Rigo, we instantly felt comfortable with him. No awkwardness, no weird vibes. When my husband told him what he wanted, Rigo instantly saw his vision. When we asked for his input, he only enhanced our ideas and made it even better. He was well prepared with tools to layout what the design would look like for us, and also brought samples of the turf so we could choose right then and there. In the end, we canceled all our other appointments for estimates and went with Rigo. No regrets and his service exceeded our expectations. He never ghosted us, always responded to text messages and phone calls, and when he said he would be at our house between 8-8:30, he was there ready to go with his team. The yard was a disaster, dead and patchy grass, overgrown weeds, chest-high dry brush, and collapsing wooden planter boxes. There were also old concrete pads and half-built cinder block structures in both back corners, failed homeowner DIY projects that were never finished and just left there to fall apart. It was the kind of space you avoid looking at. Sergio and the Green Ivy Maintenance team completely transformed it into a backyard we're genuinely proud of, and I can't recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the work was incredible. The cleanup and prep were thorough, they cleared out all the brush, weeds, and dead vegetation and got the yard down to a clean slate. The demolition was handled quickly and cleanly; they tore out the unfinished cinder block structures in both corners, removed the old concrete, and hauled everything away without any hassle or mess left behind. The concrete work they did is genuinely beautiful, real craftsmanship, and the leveling and soil preparation for the new lawn was done the right way, with compost worked into the soil so the grass has a healthy foundation to grow in rather than just laying sod over bad dirt. What really set them apart was how much they cared about doing things correctly rather than just fast.
