Because she refused to renew our lease, we ended up homeless from April 2024 to February 2025. The weekend that we were supposed to move out, I was so extremely stressed out that I passed out and called 911 so that an ambulance could take me to the ER. When I passed out, I scraped my head on some wooden furniture as I fell to the floor so I was concerned about having a concussion. So we were unable to move out that day. That was a Friday. We move all of our furniture out the next day, a Saturday. We spent the rest of Saturday moving our stuff out. On Sunday, we were able to get 1 load of stuff out of our duplex. After dropping that stuff off at a storage unit, we stopped at a convenience store to get me some Power Aid to make sure I was hydrated because that was one of the reasons that I passed out. When we got back to the duplex to finish gathering the rest of our things, sentimental belongings from my parents, including a Dyson vacuum cleaner that I got from my mom and stuff that my dad had given me before he passed away. But Carrie had changed the locks on the door to the duplex so we were unable to get the rest of our belongings, even though I provided her proof that I was in the ER on Friday when we were supposed to be moving out. We're victims of domestic violence that's still happening today. As I said before, we lost my daddy very unexpectedly a few years before. My former "brother" is a major narcissist. I'm always comparing him to David Koresh because of his brainwashing capabilities and his ginormous fake persona. He moved my mom halfway across the country from us, to South Carolina. We haven't been able to talk to her in over 2 years now. She has dementia and his plan was for her to forget us and it's working. So losing things that she gave us before she was moved so far away from us is heartbreaking as well. But Carrie and McDougal don't care!!!!! I seriously do NOT recommend renting from them!!!!! We won't be notified when my mom passes and we can't go to her memorial service for our safety. We seriously need to move from Lubbock for our safety but we can't afford to move and all organizations that claim they help victims of domestic violence refuse to help us. We won't even get my inheritance. David Koresh Jr. is using it to pay for her extremely expensive assisted living facility in Myrtle Beach. He's lied to everyone who works there about me and they refuse to let me talk to my mom. But as typical with narcissists, he changes everything to make me out to be the villain and to make him out to be the victim. And no, we can't afford a lawyer to help us.

They've removed all of their reviews so that others won't see how horrible they are there. We are extremely grateful to be away from those horrible people!!!!! The apartment complex comes with stackable washers and dryers. The washing machine in our apartment ruined our clothes and they didn't replace it until maybe October. Our clothes have stains all over them, including the scrubs that I wear to work. I just bought 4 new pairs of scrubs for work and it cost me $250. The maintenance man said that the washer should've been replaced before we moved in. Of course they wouldn't reimburse us for ruining our clothes!!!!! The dumpsters are almost always full. I've even seen a dump truck drive through the apartment complex and NOT empty the dumpsters. So I would often set my trash on the ground next to the dumpster because I couldn't get them in the dumpster. The loud and obnoxious people who lived above us tattled on me doing that, so now then they threatened to charge me $75 every time that I do that again. Those 5-10 seconds of maintenance putting them in the top of the dumpster REALLY interferes tremendously with them using a leaf blower to blow the dirt around. Because the wind doesn't do it enough around here. The apartment manager apparently has some personal issues that she loves taking out on her tenants. She refused to talk to my lawyer and when I forwarded her emails to my lawyer, he said that she was acting emotionally instead of professionally. That's why I think she has personal problems that she took out on us and no telling how many other tenants. We have personal problems too. PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, but we go to counseling and we take meds. And we do NOT take it out on innocent bystanders!!!!!! I've lived in apartment complexes here in Lubbock for about 27 years and it's getting worse and worse!!! And don't bother contacting the corporate office, they don't care either. I think the staff is on illegal drugs.

(5 stars before were solely from them moving me…read morein fast, they over charged my deposit when I was desperate and have been awful in every other aspect since then) Simply for the fact their maintenance department is criminally negligent, and derelictive of their duties. For over a year I have stated a need for proper maintenance and ventilation after a major leak was active for 3 months. 3 months of myself and another tenant fighting with them before being properly addressed and yet not even properly fixed ITS STILL LEAKING. Ever since then the area their vendor did not properly service has produced black mold, and has been spreading through the walls and ceiling visibly. I have let them know countless times since January 20th of this year when it's become evident to me it was affecting my health. I had told them my health and well-being were a concern because I was having big warning signs of black mold exposure, as well as there were visible signs of black mold. (Pictures attached) They sent a maintenance man out to service it, he was not qualified for this issue. I called them again because even more spores were present coming through the wall, he came back and confirmed with me it appeared to be toxic mold in his opinion. He also stated it was bad for my lungs. He let me know he would contact a supervisor, Jordan, and she came and also confirmed the issue. We talked about possible resolutions. She told me they would get back to me on what the owner says. That never happened. I had to literally fight with the 2 women in their maintenance department Michelle and Jami to get a call from a supervisor. Thankfully I was able to get her personal number and have been able to skip around their awful maintenance department. Do not expect a call back from them, even if they tell you they will personally. They will not. Multiple times that was stated, and never once did they follow up. They blatantly lied to me, multiple times during this process. I was told the maintenance man would be coming out with a test kit, he did not. Was told I was going to be called back by the maintenance department, I was not. Was told I'd be given an update on what the owner says in regards to ventilation and work, I was not. I've been more than patient and kind with them, especially considering I told them my health was in jeopardy January 20th, it is now March 30th. The owner of the building refused to put in a vent and send out professionals to service the mold. The apartment management were derelict of their duties and exhibited the worst case of gross neglegence I've heard of in a property management company around here. Especially when I've been as thorough and detailed as possible with them on the issue. I was never notified the owner refused to get anything done to mitigate the issue. They have ignored it to the point I was hospitalized with severe chest pains and shortness of breath when I do not have history of asthma or heart problems. In fact they told me this doesn't make sense because I'm overall healthy but there is definitely something going on. Mold exposure. So now my entire life will not be the same quality seeing as there is no cure for black mold exposure. I've been gaslighted by these lovely ladies for over a year now. I have had to deal with the mental and physical pain, and trauma of the neglect they left me to suffer with. I was begging for help, and even offered to get it taken care of myself. Told them I could have my employer come take a look seeing I worked for a licensed trades company. They ignored even that. I literally haven't received any form of apology or assurance that they would make it right. I truly hope this helps you make the decision to chose another property management company because in my opinion you and your family, your pets, your friends coming to visit, would not be safe under the conditions they keep the properties they oversee. You will not receive assistance even if you are telling them you feel like your life and well-being are in danger. They also cancel work orders without discussing any information as to why they are unable to perform their function.

He tries to fix the washing machine but they are all broken down all over the complex. I couldn't get out of either door because the locks are so cheap.
