Salvatorian Hall is a hidden gem that I would have never discovered if I hadn't been a hostess at…read moremy mom's class reunion. It's the kind of place you might overlook if you're not aware of what it is. The grounds are well-maintained, and you can constantly see the staff working hard to keep everything looking pristine. The hall itself is spacious, featuring a stage, a kitchen for cooking, a bar area, and a main hall that can host a variety of events. During this event, they made good use of the DJ on the stage, set up several round tables for dining, and the catering company provided the food, while we utilized the bar area for cold beverages. The food was just okay, but there was plenty of it served buffet-style. My only complaint was that five people were in need of forks. Although everyone spoke English, when I asked for forks, the lady immediately started speaking in another language, which made me feel uncomfortable. She had a thick accent when she explained the situation. Eventually, they both spoke in English. This experience almost made me consider writing a negative review, but I wanted to evaluate my overall experience of the event. The hall has plenty of restrooms, and they are kept clean as well. Overall, although the space is a bit older, it is very well maintained and seems perfect for hosting events.

We attended a wedding last night, and everything was flawless. The Hall was beautifully decorated,…read moreand the food was very tasty and in very generous portions. But what truly shined was the customer service. Very attentive to each table's needs and friendly, the Chef even came out to check on the tastiness of the meal, that was a special touch. The wedding was beautiful and the lay out of the facility was perfect. Great job!

I wish I could give them zero stars. I attended my godson's wedding on October 13, 2018 and was…read moreappalled. My daughter and I have food allergies and my godson took this into account. He tried to work with the facility, but they said they only had one option...but it was also something we are allergic too. We thought they were going to work something out in the months before the wedding, but when it came time to eat dinner, we were offered nothing. No food we could eat except the green beans. What made it worse was that the serving personnel couldn't care less. They had attitude. Said they would check on things and never came back then got snappy when we followed up. They said they would send someone out, but no one came. The chef apparently came out to all the tables to check on things, but not about us specifically. We were seated at the mother of the groom's table. Next to the father of the groom's table and the parent's of the bride's table. We were the very last to be served. They served the room, starting at the outer, furthest from the head table. The bar tender was extremely rude. Yes, the bar was closed, but we had a kid who needed something to drink. She did end up serving the pop, but did so with anger. On tables of 10 people, they had one pitcher of water and refilled it once only. For the whole night. And this was NOT just our table. NO tables had more than one refill on the one pitcher. To top it off no one was attending the bathrooms. The trash cans were overflowing and there were no towels for your hands by 10:00 and we had the room until 12. The men's bathroom was apparently worst. I absolutely would not suggest this to anyone. Classless.

I attended a function here where they were able to bring in live entertainment, decorations and catering. They have restrooms nearby the large party room, coat check, and room for a nice sized bar. Everything you would need for a large gathering. If I lived in Indiana I would definitely consider renting this hall.
