Campbell Natural Pest Control - Call us for a rodent inspection!

Campbell Natural Pest Control

Alphabet District, Northwest

I was a bit embarrassed calling up Campbell Pest Control because I'd been dealing with a flea…read moreproblem for about a year. The first technician, Peyton, was incredibly kind and reassuring -- he told me he'd seen way worse and instantly put me at ease. He was polite, professional, and efficient, and I only needed to be out of the house (along with my cat) for about an hour while he sprayed. You're guaranteed three sprays for one initial price, which I found to be very reasonable. When the second spray date came around, I was running behind -- my cat wasn't in her carrier, my stuff wasn't ready, and I was flustered. Peyton patiently waited for me to get everything together and even helped carry a few things to my car! That kind of kindness is rare and so appreciated. By the third spray, I had a new technician named Isaac, who was just as friendly and patient as Peyton (again, I wasn't quite ready -- when they say 11 to noon, expect 11 promptly! ). Both technicians were fantastic: professional, punctual, and genuinely kind people who made a stressful situation so much easier. I can't recommend Campbell Pest Control enough -- their customer service alone deserves five stars. Every time I called, a real person answered the phone - no robots whatsoever. I even spoke with the owner, Austin, who was extremely kind and is the reason I'm writing this review.

This review is to praise the skill and professionalism of Darryl, a consummate ant tracker! Our…read morehouse was so full of ants that we would find them on rugs, on ceilings, even in our bed at night. They were everywhere. We had Campbell out a couple of time, but it got worse instead of better. Then they sent Darryl, and he earned our eternal gratitude. He found ant trails we didn't even point out, or know we had, and figured out where they were going to and coming from. He went into rooms that we hadn't reported a problem in (with permission, of course...) and showed us where additional ant activity was. Then he baited incredibly carefully, to ensure our cats would not be at risk of exposure to the bait. (Our cats loved Darryl too!) He even followed up with a text a few days later, saying he was thinking about our job, and he wanted to know if the situation had improved! Who does that?! It had improved, by 85 - 90%, but we still saw ants. So he returned and spent an equal amount of time and patience identifying their sources. Darryl has made a tremendous difference in our ability to enjoy our home He is a treasure, and a super nice person, Thanks Darryl, and thanks to Campbell for sending him!!

The Conservation Lab - The peacock lamp restored

Imagine the joy of finding that one-of-a-kind art deco lamp that goes with your place so perfectly…read moreyou couldn't have designed something so perfect: I'm going for a blue peacock art deco theme. Just think how hard. It is to get the stars to align for this. A gorgeous art deco, petite, ceramic, art deco lamp. The seller had great reviews, , I paid $396.00 for it to ship from the Netherlands. No big deal I thought, my dad can easily rewire it and put a nice long cord on it. I was practically giggly when it arrived but but that quickly changed. It arrived broken and missing its head. My giggles quickly turned to tears. I messaged the seller. She felt terrible, my poor little lamp probably got manhandled in customs and lost the head. The seller felt terrible, she actually refunded all my money including shipping. That was a lovely gesture. I was determined to get the head restored. As I do with all projects I need done I ask Yelp. As always, Yelp did not let me down. As I recall, Jason at The Conservation Lab didn't reply to my quote request, I tracked him down. One art restorer quoted me $1000.00. Jason quoted me $275.00. I said yes immediately. I had actually poked around on his website and was really impressed with the quality of his work. Quite frankly I was shocked that an artist of his caliber was only charging me $275.00 for such a difficult job as recreating a ceramic head for my peacock lamp. But I'm grateful that someone like him is making art restoration accessible to people like me. I gifted him with a charcoal drawing I did. It took him about a month. This job was no small task. He sent me photos of the finished product. I was thrilled. It looked gorgeous. My dad picked it up to rewire it from EU wiring is USA wiring. My lamp came home yesterday, I put it in its place of honor and I plugged in. I just sat back and smiled. 2024 - Review #4
