We chose to shoot in the South End to capture the beautiful brownstones and fall foliage, and the photos turned out even better than I imagined. Our situation was a bit tricky because we were working around a sleepy 6-month-old. Daniela kindly adjusted her schedule at the last minute so our baby could take a full nap beforehand, something any parent will appreciate! During the shoot, she gave us so much direction on how to stand, pose, and find the best lighting, which made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. People walking by even stopped to say how great the photos were going to look -- and they were right. The images came out stunning. I've received so many compliments on our Christmas card this year, and it was hard to narrow it down to just a handful of photos because everything she captured was perfect. Daniela truly brought my vision to life and beautifully documented our memories in Boston. I can't recommend Sister City Photography enough for anyone looking for thoughtful, high-quality family photos.

She was also so great at directing us for different and creative poses and where to get the best shots. We received so many compliments on both our engagement and wedding pictures. We highly recommend her for any photography! We feel so fortunate to have found her and honestly couldn't ask for a better experience and more beautiful pictures. We would definitely work with her again!

We don't take a lot of photos and are pretty camera-shy, but Nicole was very helpful and gently guided us on what to do and made us feel free to try out different things. She was very gracious during our session and even went a little over time because we had to feed the baby in the middle of it. Photos came back within two weeks and we're very happy with them. Definitely will be recommending to my friends and hope to book Nicole again!

In addition to our wedding- we had our engagement shoot done by them. I cannot believe how relaxed Joe & Kaylyn made us feel! From steaming our clothes to moving pieces of hair out of my face in between shots, these two REALLY are professionals. You don't just get a point + shoot. All of our photos came out too beautiful for words. For our wedding, I did not hire a 'Day of Coordinator' thinking it was a small enough wedding & the people involved all knew their duties. HA!! WAS I WRONG!! Kaylyn not only spent the entire day getting ready with me (while Joe was with the guys) but once the wedding was really rolling she was the one to keep us all in order with the timeline! I cannot thank Kaylyn enough- she literally came in & saved my wedding! Without her I'm pretty sure we would've forgotten to cut our cake.. or even throw the bouquet! LOL :) As far as how long it took for the photos to come back I was so thrilled to see teasers to keep me satified until the whole set came to us (which was not very long at all)! I have heard horror stories of people waiting more than 3 months! That was not the case here at all. Their bright, uplighting style really catches the eyes + pops. I honestly cannot wait for our next big adventure that will need professional photos so I can work with them again!

My cousin gave me great advice before I got married: she said that the photographer is following you around on what could end up being a stressful day, so you want to make sure the photog is someone you can stand under those circumstances. Mo is that person!! She is down to earth, funny, and informal. My husband and I are not models by any means, but Mo talked us through the best ways to hold our bodies. She jokes a lot and put us at ease right away. The photos we've seen from our wedding day are incredible - the shots are real-life, not fussy or stuffy, which perfectly captured the vibe of the day. Mo is 100% worth hiring. She did an incredible job and we're so grateful to her for capturing our day!!

Why did we pick Allan? First, we loved his blended photographic style of 'lifestyle' and 'documentary'. It gave our pictures a candid and spontaneous "in the moment" perspective with an approachable and relaxed feel. Allan was responsive to all of our communications, very easy to work with, incredibly knowledgeable of the geographic area and actually recommended the spot we used for the wedding as well as for subsequent picture locations. He was friendly, prompt, flexible and affordable compared to others who wanted 2-3 times as much and whose pictures were not as good as Allan's. He wasn't the least expensive or the most, he was right on the money (pun kind of intended). He provided us with hundreds of final pictures (this was fantastic!), posted them on a web gallery and made the whole event very easy for us. And, captured it beautifully.
