They left several large chunks of trunk (2 1/2 feet by 4' long) and said their saw chain broke but "don't worry they'll be back". They are still there. The biggest. most damaging problem is that instead of removing the fallen tree, they dumped a huge pile of trunk sections down an embankment at the rear of my property, then hid them with leafy branches. Joe took 3 weeks to return my call, and 2 months to come out and look at the problem. When he came out he said he didn't know what to do, but he'd call a guy. He came out with the guy, but they've never been back. He got sick. He got hurt. He was in rehab. Now, Joe does not seem to have a physical address where he can be reached, as my lawyer has tried. His website lists Elkins Park, but that is for a condo, where he has no connection for many years. There are many more reliable tree cutters than Joe Hughes Executive Branch- try someone else.

Wow. I contracted with Harlan to have two white pines that were close to my house removed. One…read morewas enormous and very close to the house. They took that one down in three pieces. It intertwined with another white pine in my neighbor's yard. They separated the two with very minor limb breakage to my neighbor's tree. The second tree was smaller by still pretty substantial. It was already dying, so probably a little lighter than a healthy tree. They lifted that tree off in one piece. They had both trees cut down and chopped up, with final cleanup in about two hours.
