Customer service is nice. All the people working there are very friendly. Prices are expensive, first three months are "cheap" after those three months prices will go up to $200 per month and if you're late. They'll charge a late fee plus however many days you've been late. I closed my account due to finding a house for my family. There's a lot of hidden fees. My mistake was I didn't look for any other storages.. maintenance fee is $20 . So if you're storing your stuff you're gonna be paying so much just to store your stuff. Affordable Self Storage in Midland refuses to reduce my rent on FIVE storage units to market value. They continuously lie and make up excuses why the "system" won't allow them to do it. I believe the REAL reason(s) is because I'm black and/or they are dishonest money stealing criminals!!! I am currently being overcharged (robbed), at least, $500 per month!!!! This is the worst storage place ever. I rented a 10 by 15 storage at the affordable storage located on fairgrounds and it seemed okay nice units. I was told the price for a 10 by 15 was 80 dollars a month I paid that amount for 4 months until the 6/1/19 when they charged my card 238 they did not notify me that the price was going up or that I was on some kind of promo deal. I went to speak to the manager Danny and he told me they did not have to mention the promo deal since it was on the website. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE UNIT.
