This company installed screen on our pool cage which was bulging several days later and had joints completely separate and come loose after a week. The edges that failed were just a few, say 5 out of 60 edges. However the company would not answer a call, return a voice mail or respond to a letter and made no attempt to come and see what was wrong.
We filed with BBB and they finally wrote that a week after the installation hurricane Irma came through Englewood, absolving them of all warranty (they cite a lifetime warranty when they quote their services). We have another home 3 doors over with a pool and cage and there was no damage. Not one inch loosened, ripped; nothing. No neighbor around us had a single damage to a screen, and the older section of the very cage they worked on, which we were going to finish ourselves and they left material for us to do that with, was undamaged. To repeat, the 15 year old existing screen left on the cage they worked on had no damage but where they did not attach the new screening well enough on the cage was the only damage in our entire residential area. And those edges were loose before the winds came. Seems pretty obvious this was just workmanship. They probably could have fixed it while they were there to just come see it. But they would not come back out.
We have sent this to the National Disaster Fraud Department since they cite the storm as an excuse to otherwise normal consumer representation and a workmanship warrant, and other actions to follow. All to skip maybe 90 minutes of work to re-do something maybe a helper did not affix well enough. They cashed the check, did mediocre work ( which could have been quickly handled ), irresponsible lack of further contact; and then apparently hoped to
