I made the huge…read moremistake of trusting him, paid him before he finished the job because he was working on Labor Day and obviously needed the money for his truck. He was supposed to return in 2 days to clean it up and seal it. I did wonder why he made such a mess of it the first day but he was so polite, answered my questions, etc, that I never thought he was scamming me. (Yeah, I know...) Vince, for some odd reason, continued to politely answer my calls and texts, telling me that he had a car accident, was briefly hospitalized, etc., but would be back on Monday or the next week or...It is now over two months later and I am left wondering why in the world a person would feel the need to not only be so dishonest but to actually leave someone in a much worse position than he found them. He refused to tell me what it would take to clean it up, insisting that I shouldn't be doing that work and that he would be back. Please note the before and after pictures and NEVER get involved with Vincent Davis and his so-called "Asphalt Maintenance Group." He is a crook.

Once it was mandated that we could restart they quickly got all the contractors lined up and ensured that everything was done within the safety requirements (contractors wore masks, surfaces wiped down, everyone was kept separated...) Found Branden and Sheaffer Lawn Care through Craigslist and had an outstanding experience. Branden was very responsive, getting back to me quickly every time I called and getting over to my property to give me an estimate the next day. We needed an overgrown back yard and fence cleared of weeds in order to get the house ready for an open house. His bid very reasonable compared to his competitors, and he was honest about what what we needed to do to meet our goals. He didn't try to sell me more than I needed, which we appreciated. He was able to take care of the work quickly and completed the job the just a few days after we first spoke, in time for our open house. In the end, the work was of a higher quality than we expected and he ended up charging us less, because he finished faster than he expected. That was extremely honest of him, as we wouldn't have known otherwise. He also went above and beyond by replacing the door to our gate which had been removed by another service provider and by replacing some pavers so everything looked really nice. I was extremely impressed with Branden's work and would highly recommend them to anyone in the area for their lawn care needs. The before and after work was like night and day and he gave us great service.

Not only did he do this courteously, I learned I should not doubt a professional as he was able to move this big and heavy desk alone from the 2nd floor! The owner…read moreMr Mel Zimmerman and his son came to do the work, we told them it was up to them what they did outside but to enter our house to do work they would need to wear a mask for safety with covid going around we were doing everything we could to protect our family because we have someone immune compromised in our home, he said nothing about this being a issue for him he even went as far as saying he understood as one of his sons had been tested positive a few weeks before. When he went into the house he entered with out a mask and when told again to put one on he stood there arguing about it refusing to put one on. Only after i had the police show up did he comply with wearing a mask. Please keep your family safe and pick another plumber who has respect for other peoples health.
