Tom was kind, patient and replaced a filter on the hearing aides that was causing her to not be able to hear as well as she should be able to. So, I called Miracle Ear Hearing and asked, if, I can use it. The Receptionist gladly said, Yes! So, I went there Friday afternoon. It was a nice location right next to the Tropical Cafe. It's clean, cool and spacious inside. The have complimentary water and snacks. The Receptionist was nice and was prepared for my visit. I did not have to wait for the Audiologist. Her office is huge and the Audiology room is so cool. It's hard describe. You will have to see it for yourself. The Audiologist looked at my mailer. She said, you usually have to have some sort of problem hearing.The mailer did not indicate that. So, they were able to accept it. My gift card will come in 8 weeks. The Receptionist said, 3-4 weeks but, oh well. I would definitely recommend Miracle Ear Hearing. It's easy to find, the staff is friendly, personable and hospitalable. I made an appt for an MRI, and I was told there was an additional for sedation since I am claustrophobic. My driver didnt show up, so I couldnt have the sedation. I made it through the MRI without sedation, but expected an adjustment to my bill. I was told after the the MRI the sedation was free, so I wasnt charged an extra fee for it. The $600 I owed didnt include the cost for sedation. Hmmmm, I questioned if that is true, because the lady that called me the day before wanted to be sure I had a driver because of the sedation. She wanted to be sure I understood there would be an extra charge. So my question is, was anyone been charged an extra charge for sedation if claustrophobic during an MRI? If so, how much was it?
