Here's one: remove the LED light bulb from your motor unit--the one (or two) that lights up your garage upon activating the opener. LED bulbs give off RF energy (Radio Frequency) which can cause a logic board to fail--like mine!! We had used George and Sons previously. They provided very good service and we have no complaints. That's a great company, but bigger. Today (a Friday) our main door failed and we could not access the car within. We needed access by tomorrow because of issues with grandchildren and car seats. George and Sons was willing to service our door, but could not come out for four days. I called four other places who could not come out either, but Affordable serviced our door the same day and fixed our door within about 30 minutes. The bracket that holds the spring to the header had pulled out, the door crooked, the cables tangled. Clearly, they knew what they were doing, totally expert.
