It's taken me over a year to decide if I wanted to leave a negative post. This would be my first ever but I think this place is very unprofessional and I think it's best to let others know. Do not go here! On Sept 11, 2024 12pm I had one tooth molar implant scheduled. I left my scheduled surgery crying because they injected me with numbing solution, laid out all the surgery tools and told me they couldn't do the surgery. I was confused...after I had sat there for an hour waiting for the procedure to happen. I see all the tools laid out ready to go. I overhear the nurse and dentist saying the drill isn't working and it's wobbly. They then scramble around in the room and leave and come back in to tell me they do not have a working drill my size. Dr. Nehal Shah DDS License #102251 is the dentist. She tried to offer me 5% off and said she was sorry etc. I left crying and overwhelmed. I came back the next day to try to resolve the issue. I asked if she's told her boss Dr. Ernesto Perez Delgado about this situation and she said no. When asking about the discount, she said she didn't feel comfortable doing my procedure and would need to go to another to another location in which the discount wouldn't even work. This dentist lied to my face. I was dumb tot he face until 8pm and so traumatized by the experience. I plan to report them to Consumer Affairs and the Dental Affairs. I'd honestly would not recommend anybody to go there myself I had a bad experience pretty much paid for dentures and got crap and was threatened to take him they can't do nothing about it they don't sign anything until you see the teeth completely done they did me dirty but I'm not done yet just because I'm weak and I'm disabled mentally you don't take advantage of a person like that when they don't have very much money The teeth look hideous I can't chew they hurt my gums the teeth are not teeth they're just nubs there's no teeth they're just just a face of a teeth a tooth my my bite is way off my tongue don't fit between my teeth there's so much wrong and they will not fix it and that's not right doing that to somebody that's disabled and they don't have nothing and take money that he can't afford read more

Didn't even get a chance to rate the actual dental service. The staff gave us an appointment time for a wednesday morning at 11:30 am. We were given an appointment card with the time and date on it. It is always complicated to get my son to an appointmemt as he has some struggles. We arived at the office at 11:15 on the appointed day and were told we did not have an appointment and said they couldn't see our son. We live in a different town and it took an hour to pick up our son and get him there. Our son became frustrated and emotional. The front desk staff has uncomfortable and asked us to leave. This problem all started with the person who made the appointment failed to put it on the schedule. read more

Nothing Affordable about this place. Needed one tooth on my 84 year old dad's bottom dentures removed and glued back in. Cost 250.00 dollars (210.00 for consultation and 40.00 for repair). What consultation? The guy from the front desk looked at them and said we can fix them for 250.00 or get you a new pair for 750.00. read more

I called 916: 247-0014 to get a consultation for implants and asked about the Best Price Guarantee stated on their website. I spoke to Daisy and she said that I would have to pay for a consultation to discuss with the doctor if they can match a treatment plan for comparable services. But it's not guaranteed that they will provide "Best Price Guarantee" as stated on their website. So if the doctor decides not to provide "Best Price Guarantee" then I basically would have wasted my money for the consultation. This place does not honor what is stated on their website. read more

I had done a lot of research into this decision. You would have never known by looking at my teeth, that i had major issues. I have attached a photo.. My teeth looked GREAT! But, I had a LOT of movement in my top teeth due to Periodontal disease. So, I did get 2 opinions regarding my options. Both Dentists told me the same thing..." Your top teeth need to come out. There is a LOT of active bacteria that you are swallowing hundreds of times a day"...seriously, I was SO distraught. I cried. I checked into a couple of places, for implants. But WOW! $13,000! JUST for the top part of my mouth...did not include the bottom teeth. Anyway, I went to Dr. Delgado in Sacramento at Affordable Dentures and Implants. First, let me say that he is a lovely guy who listens to your concerns, and his staff are super nice and compassionate. This was one of THE hardest decisions I have EVER made. But, Dr. Delgado and his staff ( shout out to Tisha and Daisy) were superb cheerleaders and helped me get through the procedures I am currently on the mend, and will get my permanent teeth in 3/4 months. The one thing that gets me is when I make an appointment with a place. I drive all the way there and find out there's a note on the door saying we're closed even though I got a phone call and a email saying the make sure I make my appointment today at 9 o'clock in the morning so when I got there like I say they are closed and the door will be closed one week so I called and the girl said oh I'm sorry I thought we called everybody to tell them that we were called closed sorry. No, I'm not sorry it cost time gas and money to make an appointment go to someplace just find out that it's closed a courtesy call, but she did not or even sent a email saying they were closed for the week. Run as fast as you can! They are very nice while they look you in the eye and lie through their teeth. After being assured that Ernesto Delgado Perez had years of experience, I paid $20,000.00 for a six-implant permanent denture. The work should have been completed in January 2023 but due to pain and swelling they could not move forward. After ten months of weekly appointments, he informed me he would no longer be my dentist, leaving me in constant pain with what is currently in my mouth, a four-implant temporary denture. It is broken in the front and swings out of my mouth. I have since found out that they used poor quality material, the implants are not far enough in the bone, the bone graft has chipped away, and the four exposed implants are not supposed to be that way for easy cleaning, like I was told. Throughout this time, they refused to give me x-rays or records and when I ask for his medical license number, I was told to look it up myself. I did and found two dentists with that name but only one NPI#. Affordable Dentures would not confirm the number. It was not until this past May 2024 that I found out why. Ernesto Delgado Perez with Affordable Dentures on Florin Rd. did not get his medical license until 3/13/2023, a full seven months after he destroyed my teeth. I have read other complaints about Affordable Dentures using unlicensed dentist, so I suggest you do your homework, believe me I wish I had. On top of all of this they still have my money. Affordable Dentures did agree to a partial refund, but the amount does not cover the cost of work never done and I would have to sign an agreement not to speak of this or take any further action. From my personal experience I would have to say the only guarantee you'll get from Affordable Dentures is one they have no intention of honoring. read more

I brought my grandma here for a consultation after seeing the tv commercial. Prior to the visit, I had no knowledge of dentures and implants, but the staff here were very friendly and informative about which treatment is the best for my grandma. Originally we were interested in getting dentures for her but after the consultation, we decided to get implants and that was the best decision we ever made! The staff were very helpful in evert process, they assisted me to get approved for financing right in their office which saved us lots of time. The whole process was explained to us thoroughly by the doctor and he assured that my grandma will get the best treatment possible. It makes me so happy to see my grandma being able to enjoy the food she loves. I'd recommend making a visit to Dr.Delgado's office if you want to help your family member smile again! read more

I had to mark a star but if possible, that would have been a minus 5 stars. I reviewed this company before, but I'm still so angry and upset about the entire episode that I have to say a little more. I can't say every outlet for this franshise is as bad as this one was, but I can't believe any dentist would so badly damage his/her reputation after what it must take to become a licensed dentist. This was a ripoff from the start. The day we went in, we had to cough up $95 for X-rays before the dentist would even see us. The young gentleman who actually made molds, etc. was pleasant and accommodating but as it turned out, the teeth I got were really fine if I didn't try to eat anything. If I chose to wear them just for show, I suppose they were all right but every time I tried to eat out popped (and I mean popped) a tooth. I went in the first time and was told I had to make a (paid appointment to get the tooth reglued. My son glued it back in at home (and it stayed glued in). A couple of days later another tooth popped out. This time it popped out in a restaurant and flew two tables away. I went back again and lo and behold, no more Affordable Dentures. Another snake oil doctor leaving town before the sheriff arrives I imagine. I assume this is a franchise and as such they should make good on faulty procedures that the so-called dentist makes before setting up shop in another town. read more

They leave it to the patient to submit cost to insurance which always ends up bad. Sounds like they are using cheap plastic and should not be creating lisps in peoples speach. Everything must be paid up front and if you read on you will see that after they have their money upfront, how long to fix something that has gone wrong is not a priority or unimportant. read more
