I've been call and signs busy three times then it hang up, the office service bad. I had a up plate denture and partial for my lower plate. The plates hurt me so bad they were sticking into my gums causing sores. I tried to get them to see me then my dad died now they wont answer their phone. I can't wear these dentures. The place was surprisingly good 5 years ago and the dentures held up real well. Got the most expensive denture available 5 years ago with 7 year warranty. They broke recently for the first time ever, so I went to them to have them repaired. The repair was "no charge" after the $26.00 mandatory exam fee and they tried real hard to hook me into an x-ray. I imagine most people give in because they didn't know how to act when I said no. Well, I guess they did know how to act - ugly. Repair job, not great. roof of the denture has a rough line down it, and the side is rough. Not polished. I am not going back to have it polished because I don't trust them. One last thing about the repair, they didn't take me in to make sure it fit. Just passed it through the window. Pros: Denture ready same day. I can't speak to their current standards but original denture was excellent Cons: I'm double insured through Pres and Blue Cross. They don't take either. 26 dollar exam fee required to fix crack in denture Insisted on an x-ray until I flat refused and she was ugly to me thereafter. Work on the denture was not very good Wanted to wiggle out of the warranty until I produced the certificate. Won't send pre-estimate to the insurance company and treated me as if I was a nuisance without education or understanding and asking for the moon.. Turns out they decreased the warranty period to 4 years. Conveniently, they couldn't find me in the system until I pulled out the warranty paperwork. Good thing I kept it because the head woman in charge demanded the proof, she was real surprised I had it. I kept for all these years. I went to Tucson, Arizona to take an old friend of mine to Affordable Dentures there and help her to get hers. She had not had any teeth for more than 15 years. When we saw the dentist he said she would need to see a specialist first and then he still couldn't guarantee anything, not a lower denture for sure. She was deeply disappointed. I immediately texted Dr. Herron in Albuquerque. He said to bring her to his practice and he would do his very best. I brought her back to Albuquerque and his staff squeezed her in. Avoid this affordable dentures. I went there to start the process of getting my top teeth removed and dentures was told by the dentist that they would put me in temporary dentures after the teeth extractions and permanent after my mouth had healed. Got teeth removed and got the temporary dentures and planned on getting implants done for the top set but they didn't submit a claim to my insurance for the part that I hadn't paid for so had to put the implants on hold until they submitted and got paid for the remaining balance after I paid my part. I call and would get no response or return of my phone call from them trying to figure out what was going on. So last Friday I called because I decided to get my permanent dentures and find somewhere else to get the implants done, now I'm being told 12 months later that the dentures I have are the only dentures I am getting. Keep in mind not only did the dentist tell me these were temporary in front of 2 witnesses because I had my mom and my husband there but the nurse told me the same thing in front of my husband when I complained these dentures were causing me pain. She told me to wait because the permanent ones that I would be getting would fit and I would get those when I got the implants. I have went to Morehead affordable dentures I told them please get my dentures right because I don't have transportation the only transportation is medical cab but my medical card doesn't pay for my ride so it cost me 60 dollars for each ride from Pine Ridge Ky to them so turns out I had to pay for 3 trips to them so I don't know what to do because I have dentures I couldn't and haven't been able to ware them at all. Then COVID hit so that puts me without a ride now they are telling me that they might have to remake them and that's going to cost more than I have. So I arrived for my dental appointment 15 minutes early this morning, and I waited until 30 minutes past my appointment time and then went up to front desk to ask why it was taking so long? The woman said it was because I was late. When I told her that I was 15 minutes early, and that it was right there on sign-in sheet, she told me she didn't have to put up with my behavior and that I should leave. I said no, please let me talk to your manager. After 5 minutes the manger came out and asked me what my problem was. When I told her the issue she responded by saying that they are overbooked and that they are always overbooked, and the doctor is a busy man. I turned around and walked out. These people are total scam artists who prey on vulnerable senior citizens. Last year my mother signed a treatment plan with them. They were supposed to replace a missing tooth back in March of this year but she couldn't get in until now, May. Not only did they not order the tooth as planned, they tried to force her to do more impressions (which they already did in January) and tried to get her to agree to a new treatment plan that was hundreds of dollars more. When she asked about it, they said that original agreement was only good for 90 days (which is not stated on ANY of the paperwork), and that she could either accept the higher rate for the work or leave. My husband paid over $600 to get the "custom teeth & fit" dentures over a month ago and still does not have his dentures. We had plans this week and reservations that we've had to postpone twice now because of this. They NEVER answer the phone but instead forward you to "patient services" which are no where near Albuquerque and they always say "we'll send them a message". The absolute WORST place to get dentures in the state. They say "affordable"? Ha, that's a joke. I had to replace my old dentures. I got the new ones here and could not believe the phenomenal results. The teeth look like my original natural teeth! The price was $4000 less than my old ones that were supposed to be "cosmetic dentures" that looked like my great grama's. Now I have premium dentures that don't look like dentures. The fit is right on. I can smile again. Dr. Herron definitely knows what he is doing as he does denture construction every day. And he listens to your imput. will never come here again. I purchased premium full dentures, but my lowers were not premium quality, more like economy. I told them I thought the gum part was to thin, but they just ignored that. The lowers kept breaking and every time they fixed them, they said if it happens again, we will see what the options are. They almost always broke when this office was closed for a week. This was the case when they broke a fourth time. Luckily they have competition now, and I found a GREAT dentist who also has the on site lab. He repaired my lowers and did a reline to get them up to premium quality. They have never fit better and are very strong now. He only charged me $100 to fix them and reline them, A LOT less than it would have cost me here. They should be ashamed for ripping people off. First of all if I could give them my true rating it would be a negative 5 star ratings. I got these dentures (both upper & lower) in 2013 for $1295.00. This was their high end dentures called the Ultra's. The bottoms never fitted good even with polident cream. On December 27, 2015 while eating some cheese & crackers the bottom denture broke in half. Then I had to wait until January 4th of 2016 to make an appointment. I found out then that I had to come into their office to have them looked at between 8-10 am. So I got up early the next morning and drove about 35 miles in cold weather to have them fixed. I was then told that it would cost $145.00 to have them fixed, and that they would call me at 3 pm. I let the receptionist know that I was from out of town & that I would wait for the call. So now I had to stay in Albuquerque until they called me. Gave her my cell number & guess what! They never called!!! Not even to let me know if it was going to take longer to fix. I don't think this is very good customer service at all. Please take this warning and go elsewhere. It would be worth it to pay more in my opinion. Also my husband had his dentures done here & they don't fit good either.
