So far, one of the best Courtyards I have stayed in! It's fairly large, very new looking (re done…read morein 2018), and a legit gym for a courtyard. The room was a reasonable size. New flooring; new furniture. I loved the location. I rarely get rental cars when I travel anymore, and when I can walk to restaurants and shops, I am one happy girl! It's walkable to legit 25 restaurants and almost all have great reviews. I felt very safe walking around too. I rarely review hotels, but this one deserves an A in my book!

The staff is very unfriendly and inhospitable to be in the hospitality industry this should be unacceptable. I have never experienced such disrespect speaking to customers either. All the front desk associates were not accommodating or helpful when we asked them any questions or had any requests or concerns. The night desk manager was the worst of all. She was rude, disrespectful and extremely condescending in her tone and speech. And I specified at the beginning of my hotel stay to have "late check out," but the day I check out, a man knocks very loudly on my door early in the morning, opens my door, then proceeds to loudly say "housekeeping! Are you checking out today?" I told him to come back later and I had late check out. He still continues to have a conversation with me still standing with my door ajar and proceeds to ask "what time are you leaving"? Are you serious right now? We are having a back and forth early in the morning about when I'm going to leave because he did not have the courtesy to make an effort and find out first which rooms have a late check out, and even after I informed him I have a late check out, he continued to inconvenience me and ask me further questions about when I will leave for his convenience's sake. My father recently passed, I cannot sleep or stay asleep easily. He woke up an insomniac that specifically requested the hotel for a late check out. I do not appreciate that. I did not want to be disturbed or awakened in the morning. I had to wake up early and decide what time I had to leave, for housekeeping's convenience. I was forced to speak with housekeeping, who entered my room without my permission... also during check in, I saw several bugs scurrying about on the floor... so hygiene and cleanliness is questionable too. Just a horrible experience all around. I would not recommend if you want a pleasant experience with smiling faces and hospitality oriented attitudes. Being from the hospitality industry myself, I am flabbergasted at this hotel and accompanying restaurant, platez, as a customer.

Let's start by saying, please don't waste your time on this place!…read more There is so much to complain about that it would take all day. Key points: Outdated and dirty. The bathtub had a permanent dirt ring around it, and the dressers had missing handles. Because my husband was there for 18 days, he asked in advance for a room with a kitchen so he could cook. There were no pots or pans to be had, only a few plastic spoons. There was a phone, but it had no phone cord! When we asked about a cleaning schedule, a lady said, " You just got here, we don't clean after just a few days, and we don't have anyone to do it until next week." HUH? And we have a towel limit, also only 2. No one knew the code for the laundry room; it took 2 days to get the 1234 code!! The staff was all new, and if we had a complaint on Friday, you were going to have to wait until Monday for the manager. Terrible!!

They accommodated us for the last minute change. The staff is attentive and responsive, as well as courteous and helpful. Several went beyond their job descriptions to assist and offer help to me and my elderly parents. The location is peaceful and relaxing, and there are several dining options to the East and West. They do need to get the swimming pool open again. It looked very nice but said closed. Yes, the furnishings are outdated and rooms are at various stages of updating. But, the bedding is comfortable, with cool AC, desks, working fridge/freezer, microwave, internet, etc. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and all amenities in our rooms worked. Cannot say the same for our stay at the Buckhead LaQuinta who had broken phones and internet. Not a large variety for breakfast but good quality brands of cereal, milk, pastries, yogurt, etc. The coffee is Starbucks and they keep it going hot until 10 pm! I will stay here if my Dad needs to return.

The check-in was very welcoming, uplifting with a smile & I was offered a welcoming glass of champagne The room and bathroom have everything anyone would usually need, plus some nice extras! The Wi-Fi is open so it is extremely easy to login but I'll be curious about the strength once we start our business work day tomorrow. I'm on the 3rd floor, street side of the inn so we'll see about noise tonight.... Note: one of the extras was ear plugs. Ha! Ok I'm back to update the rest of my review now that I'm back home! The hotel itself- I would come back again and again! Yes 5 star The meeting room- 3 star We had to have each presenter sit at the front of the room with their laptop plugged into the HDMI instead of being able to mirror or launch up onto the screen. This wasn't the best experience. And to boot, the hotel tech guy came down and was zero help. Boo! The restaurant- 4 star I personally had the deviled eggs (obviously) they were good, not amazing because they were extremely salty. Yes, they had caviar atop but the salty flavor was in your face BIG! I also had the pork chops, they were a bit dry but the coleslaw on top helped ease the dryness with additional flavor. The rest of the team seemed to have liked their beet salad, fish, short ribs (I heard they were very rich) and chicken. The free coffee in the room is awesome with the kettle although, I got the free coffee in the mini store in the lobby! All the goodies were there, SF syrup, real sugar, fake sugar, creamer, oatmeal creamer. Loved this option and returned fir refills throughout out work day & it was always hot & ready! Another 5 star experience here. Let's get to the overall staff - Callie and Taral - High Five ladies!! The 2 valet guys at the front- awesome work gentlemen!!! So in all- I think a solid 4
