DO NOT DEAL WITH STEPHEN HUNTER!!! We signed a contract in October of 2025 with him for concrete work and paid him $3500 deposit. We are still waiting for him to start the job. Now his phone is connected and he stopped returning our text. I just found out his business was dissolved before we even signed the contract! He is just a scammer. I had Stephen Anthony Hunter of affordable concrete LLC come and give me a bid to extend my driveway. We had a contract for 6 inches of concrete to be poured 14' x 60' he poured it all in one day. It looks terrible. It's got holes in it. It's got cracks in it. He splashed concrete up on my retainer wall and my house He didn't finish it at all. What part he did broom looks terrible broom marks going 2 different ways. When I ask him about the holes and cracks and the concrete splashed up on my retainer wall and house, he said it was all cosmetic and he would fix it , it's been almost a month later he still hasn't fixed it. He still hasn't finished what he said he would do fix everything and clean up my wall and yard, he hasn't even done what he said in the contract we signed This has been almost a month ago, August 15 when he poured it he's been paid. I've text him I've called him. He keeps saying he's coming to finish. I still got wood forms around a both ends of it. He's supposed to fix and clean my retainer wall and fix my yard. That's still messed up. He keeps putting me off. I made the mistake of paying him before he finished the job I do not recommend him for any of your concrete needs . We put our faith and money into Stephen Anthony Hunter and Affordable Concrete LLC only to be disappointed in him. Poor communication, poor planning, and poor budgeting to name a few. We ARE impressed that he and 1 other guy finally DID do out foundation. They did work hard for a few days. NOW hes been paid and we haven't seen or heard back from him for 2 weeks. There is still work to be completed and equipment & trash in our yard. We've been patient, kind, and forgiving (my husband was even out there helping some days). This guy not enough is charging almost as twice as others, he also does not know what to do with concrete. Unfortunately i cannot put pictures of the ugly work he's done on my property all left residual concrete all over the place. After i contacted him about it he promised "to come over later today". Needless to say he never came. Three days later he texted me that he would come on Tuesday. Though he forgot to mention what Tuesday in what month or year, so, in short, he never came nor never responded to my messages. Now i have to find someone to demolish his work and put a new concrete, so i'll have to pay more than 3 times, one time for his "work", one time for demolishing and cleaning after him, and one more time for the new concrete read more
