Dan and his crew are the best. We contracted the removal of a very large red oak 3 1/2 feet from our front door. Just the though was very worrisome to us, but it needed to go. The removal of this tree was completed in two days as expected and the crew handled everything that was expected in the initial conversation for this service. This crew went over and above to make sure they had everything right. The tree is gone - (it was laid down in our yard like you would a baby) there is no damage to our house, yard and the clean up was superb. Our front yard still looks excellent without dents and our underground sprinkler system is totally functional! On a parting note - we have removed two other trees in our yard with OTHER tree services - the outcome was not so great. Dan and his team has renewed our faith that we can find vendors here in Little Rock that truly care about the quality of service they provide and going that extra step to ensure all is good. I give Dan and his tree service zero stars due to fact that Dan Magee is the biggest meth cooker in the Macon area and has been for almost 30 years. this can be confirmed by multiple people that Dan and his daughter cooks meth. both his grandsons clay and Cato smokes meth on the daily and they both more than likely helps him cook meth. he has mutiple properties and he uses afford tree service to cover up his meth cooking business. I advise everyone to look for another tree service and not to use afford tree service due to Dan Magee being a meth cooker. he doesn't even give his employees 10-99 forms for taxes. Extremely Disappointed with Afford Tree Service I am utterly dissatisfied with the tree service provided by Afford Tree Service. From start to finish, the experience was a complete nightmare. The communication was abysmal, with no one bothering to update me on the status of my job. When the crew finally arrived, they seemed untrained and ill-equipped, causing more damage than improvement. The work they performed was haphazard at best, leaving my yard in shambles and my trees looking worse than before. To top it all off, their pricing was exorbitant for the shoddy service rendered. Dan is a liar that lies about everything he says. He never served in the military but yet he tells everyone he is a military veteran. That is a complete cover up for his illicit drug operation that he has been running for 20 plus years. I would advise everyone not to use Afford Tree Service. Afford Tree Service operates like a well-oiled machine. Owner Dan provided us a same-day quote for service on removing 5 large, older trees, located on a west-facing hill. He and his crew began work the next day. It took a total of 3 days, working around inclement weather and tree location, to remove all 5. Dan and crew worked meticulously to preserve several thousands of dollars' worth of landscaping with no visible evidence of disturbance. Dan and his crew did a marvelous job. There was a big gumball tree with limbs hanging over my house. I would worry every rain storm and definitely through tornado season. They were backed up on work but as soon as he could fit me in the schedule he did and the tree is now gone. They followed through with everything they said they were going to do.
