I've never worked with a contractor who was so responsive and thorough. I must have asked Bert for at least five different quotes, if not more. A lot of, "What if we did this here and that there." Bert was so patient and answered all of my questions and ran every quote I asked for. He's amazing, he'll do whatever it takes to make sure his customers are completely satisfied. Bert and his crew are fantastic! Very professional, friendly and always on time! Just a great group of guys! I needed 4 areas of old 4' chain link fencing removed. Three of those areas were replaced with 6' vinyl privacy fence and we swamped out the 4' chain link with 5' chain link in hopes of keeping my dog from jumping over the fence. Then they installed 5' chain link around the rest of my property line. They did this all in 2.5 days! And they're extremely clean! They didn't even leave so much as a napkin behind. In fact, my yard was cleaner after they left than when they got here. The fence looks absolutely beautiful, I am so happy that I took everyone's advice and went with Aldi Fence. I cannot recommend Bert and his crew enough! Don't waste your time shopping around for multiple quotes. Bert's pricing is beyond reasonable and no other company will beat Aldi's work ethic and workmanship! I'd give them ten stars if I could. When you have a wood fence in CT you're bound to have to repair it nearly annually, due to rotting posts, rotting panels, etc. I've been hiring the same fence company for installations and repairs as needed but this year I wanted to upgrade to vinyl. Several years ago I did get a vinyl fence quote from that company and it was considerably more than what I paid Hartford Fence to do, in 2025. Also the more expensive quote was for a white vinyl fence, which I do not like.
