John called me and said it was the fuel pump and to take him $550.00. I called other places and they were &150.00 less. So I said don,t do the work ,he said he had the car towed 2 blocks (without my permission). I went to get the car the next day and the key was in it. Everything in the trunk was missing. Some wires had been cut the gas cap door was open, the cap was not screwed on. I called the police for a report, and then had it towed to another mechanic. He said there was nothing wrong with the fuel pump, but when he got the engine going, it was totally ruined, sounded worse than a train. John had done something to it!! There was nothing wrong with the fuel pump nor the engine. The car was vandalized, and burglarized. While I was there some men in a pickup came and started taking everything out of the shop. I rate a "0" for that. And a crime!

Jorge was very friendly and communicated with my husband when he was on his way and when he arrived. Since we live in an apartment complex, Jorge decided it was best to work on the car in a nearby shopping center, which was convenient for us - we could walk there no problem. We originally asked for an oil change but he suggested other work we should have done. He communicated with us before doing any extra work, which I really appreciated. The prices were very reasonable for a mobile mechanic. I really like the convenience of having someone come to our location to work on our car.

I have a Toyota Prius and a Volvo S60 which both needed minor repairs and an oil change, nothing major. I woke up to an email from Jorge, the owner of IHMS, who responded promptly, giving me a very reasonable quote for the work I had requested. VERY reasonable price for being a mobile service. Jorge was courteous and very easy to work with. I appreciated that he was very honest in the work he performed and he texted me letting me know what other work needed to be done (changing air filter). He allowed me to take a look at his trailer. He has a very robust mobile tool-shed, so if you're worried he cannot perform a specific task, ask him first, because most likely he has the tool & the experience for the job. Jorge did an awesome job on our vehicles. Fast and efficient and clean work. I highly recommend Jorge for your vehicle needs. He does specialize in diesel service/repair, however, it seems he can work on just about anything with an engine. Found my new mechanic.

The salesman, Tim, and I concluded it probably needed a new battery. Both times we looked at it, it was detailed well and not dirty. I feel like some dealerships half-detail it and cars aren't as clean as they could be. Price was good and they were willing to work with us a little to get where we needed to be. Tim was relaxed and didn't apply any pressure for us to buy. He felt like more like our advocate during the buying process trying to get finance to agree to the price we felt was appropriate and worked for us. The first pass on the numbers included a "reconditioning fee" of almost $700, which should absolutely be included in the price and not a fee that shows up during the negotiation process, but they were willing to wave that once we told them the price we needed out the door to make a deal. We were in and out in about an hour and a half, which is not that bad. I have been at dealerships much longer and it's not fun.
