Our groomers for several years has disappointed us the last two times. So, we tried Affectionate Grooming and we were thrilled at the results. Our two Lhasa's have never looked better. We will return! read more

This is by far the best overall grooming experience that both me and my boy have had. I KNOW it is his favorite because he couldn't get enough of Autumn before I took him out of the salon. I completely recommend this place. read more

Very gentle with my dogs. They truly love animals and best rates around!! Best place in town!!

Not only has this place taken amazing care of my English bulldog for his whole life, the staff and owner has amazing character, and truly care for the well-being of the animals that they take care of. They will squeeze in dogs last minute and truly care for their customers. I brought in a stray puppy that needed help, they made sure that I had the puppy vaccinated before I brought it in to keep all of the other dogs safe. They wouldn't even let me pay them for how well they helped and took care of this puppy for HOURS. They truly saved him I wouldn't have been able to do it. I can't thank Affectionate grooming enough for the way they handled the situation and take care of the animals they see. I highly recommend to anyone who needs grooming. read more

My dog's haircut turned out well and it's very even and she's very soft. Just don't feel comfortable returning after seeing the scratches left on her stomach. This is our third time getting her groomed and while they do a great job and charge fair prices, her getting scratched every time just isn't worth it to us. read more

If you love your Pet DON'T GO HERE! I used to love this place. But since the owner has retired, the service has gone down hill. My last visit they gave away my collar to another person. And come to find out cut my Maltese's leg and covered it up with some adhesive glue. I had to take my dog to the vet & spend $60 worried the cut was a spider bite! Because they didn't tell me they cut her leg. But was all about covering it up!! I also had to pay to have my Vet clip her nails because they forgot which I paid for and everyone at the vet said the haircut looked terrible. I was totally embarrassed. I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

Dawn is so nice and can always squeeze my sweet lab mix Buddy in. I called around to several other places before booking his appointment the first time I took him and they all were booked 2 weeks out and charged at least $80 for him since he is a large dog. Her charge for Buddy is $65 and that's with his hair being matted (his hair gets mated so easily because his fur is kind of like wool). She is always so nice the first time I took him in and so I returned there for his second grooming today. I took him in at 9:30 even though my appointment wasn't until 10 and she didn't even mind or care I was early. She got him done at 3 this afternoon and he is a happy camper! His cut looks so good and Dawn is so nice! I wanted to leave a review because I was scared to take him to a grooming place because I've seen horror stories online about how groomers mistreat the animals and nick them and that just scared me so much, but Dawn does an amazing job and is so nice and has fair pricing! read more

Affectionate Grooming is the only place I will take my cats for a good grooming. Or my dog for that matter. Dawn is a wonderful groomer who takes the time to do a complete and efficient groom, including anal glands and ears. She works with you on any special needs you may have. Beyond that, Dawn has helped me through a very trying time when my home became toxic for us and needed a biohazard clean up. She provided a safe place to stay for my 5 cats at a more than reasonable fee while the cleanup was being performed. I cannot thank her enough nor offer enough kudos for being there in a time of need. She is the best there is! read more

Loved this place! They actually got my baby in last minute to get a bath and nails done. The staff is super friendly and she was so calm when I picked her up. Can't wait to take my Autumn back to get completely groomed! read more

The convenience of making an appointment is great, and friendliness of staff. They've groomed my dogs a couple of times. This last time they groomed one of them and he ended up developing a skin condition that required medical attention. It turned out to be ring worm. I called at let staff know because that is extremely contagious! And I would hate for another dog parent to go through it. Unfortunately, affectionate grooming we won't be back. read more

I was there for my 1st appt with this business. My appt was at 8am. I was there at 755 and waited til 805. Got home and called and was told that she was out back, it's 802 by her clock, so "didn't know what to tell me!" I said, Oh, so no apology, you are just going to be rude??? She said, she didnt need my business. so, she wont get it; read more
