The person in charge of billing, was rude to me. She stated that I didn't have to worry about the Long Term Care company paying for services, because she had billed them before. I explained that my concern was that the Long Term Care approved Always Best Care and payed for services rendered to my mother. I was supposed to have a zoom call to meet the caregiver before her start date which never happened, and the caregiver was late to her second day on the job. She did however have time to stop at the fast food restaurant for her coffee. All these small blunders added up to me cancelling my contract as I decided that this was not the company I wanted to care for my mom. I would look elsewhere for care for your loved ones.

There are 4 floors and are arranged by residents' needs and cognitive level. My mom seems very content to be amongst her peers, chit chatting, doing activities, going on outings and dining together. I'm so grateful for Silverado and all the staff. It has turned out to be the perfect place for my mom. She is safe, engaged, fits right in amongst her peers and has the support of staff who understand what she is going through. There are many reasons why he wanted to leave his home. The number one reason was the staff. From the minute we walked in my dad and I were welcomed with open arms. The staff remembered my name after the first time they met me. They checked in with my dad constantly. The manager, ANITA was extremely professional. Every time she sees me or my dad she stops what she is doing and makes it a point to say hello and see how we are doing. They have a daily calendar with activities from morning until night. Last week I asked my dad if he wanted to grab lunch after running some errands. He said he wanted to get back so he could eat with his friends! Remember, we lost my mom 68 days ago. This has been a game changer. My life is completely different. I still visit almost every day. When I do go he's always busy. I'm going to try to remember as many names as possible so when you go to check it out you can ask for them. The first person I met was Ingrid. She explained every single thing we needed in order to be part of the community. Then there's Susan who I believe runs all the activities. The front desk staff Amy, Stephanie and another kind lady. There is Katie the nurse, the chef, the young man who helped my dad hang is picture. The sweet girl who cleans his room and does his laundry. They all know him by name and they ALL stop to say hello. Once I went to my orthopedic, they needed a copy of the x-ray called Exter. They cannot send them over digitally. You have to physically go back to their facility to pick up a disk. There has to be a better process. Dealing with their billing department is impossible. First you get a series of automated when you can finally get to a person. Everything is within 7 to 10 business days. Ask for a breakdown of your bill. It takes seven business days. I accidentally overpaid my bill (already been a week and posted to my bank) for them to look into it she said would be 7 to 10 business days and I need to call back. This is not how you run a business.
