This is getting a 3 because I would give 5 stars for the doctor and 1 star for the receptionist. I went into the office for back pain. Go up to the desk. Young teen or twenty something boy with AirPod in. Dock points for unprofessionalism. He tells me to scan the code to check in - okay. It took me 30 minutes to upload everything because they had no reception and even connecting to their wifi did not help. Grant it I am the single only patient in the entire office. When I checked in it said the next appointment would be 20 mins. Well that 20 mins comes and goes because I'm still uploading the forms. I speak out "is this always so slow" he says yeah sometimes. Fill it out get to a part that it literally freezes at. They had saved all my info from when I went for a Covid test in 2020-2021, but it had updated since then. I updated it all. Get up to the desk tell the guy this part of the app is frozen. He's asleep. Literally asleep at the desk. He wakes up - why thank you for waking up enough to help me. He says oh that's okay I don't need that part just your insurance. He looks at the online retrieval of my sheet which again it's now been a half an hour since I started and 10 mins since my scheduled appointment time and says "it says your insurance is out of date". I said I know I updated it on there to the new one. Asks me for my card and updates it. So now I realize I spent a half an hour trying to upload photos of my insurance card when he has to type it in anyway because the stupid app didn't work. The app he made me fill out, I told him it wasn't working and he didn't offer any help. So I sat in a chair uploading 4 photos of my id for no reason because he had to re-do it anyway. As soon as he types it in I get called back. So the entire process could have been avoided if he just did it in the first place. The doctor was amazing. Great bedside manner and I'd give him a 5.Looked at me helped me immediately. My entire visit with the doctor was 1/6 of the amount of time that it took me to get to see him because of the fiasco at the desk. Get better desk staff. Don't make people upload stuff when you have the capability to type it in- especially when I am the single only patient in the office for a half an hour. It wasn't busy, multiple people weren't checking in at once. It was totally unnecessary. read more

The only reason it's not a 1 is because the PA was at least decent. I'm visiting from VA and have had a cough since before Christmas which seemed to be getting worse. I go online and see that I can make an "appointment" GREAT!! Get a 1:30 time. Complete my registration online as requested. Show up 10 mins early as instructed, immediately take my copay....all great. After waiting for an HOUR, I ask "Do you not honor your appointment times?" Answer: it's not "actually an appointment". Funny, on line it says "schedule an APPOINTMENT! My response is, "Then don't say it's an appointment!" Maybe the definition needs to be made apparent: 'An appointment is a formal date or plan to meet at the appointed time. Whether you have a doctor's appointment, a hair appointment, or a 1 o'clock lunch appointment, you need to be there -- or you'll have a broken appointment'....it's not a suggestion!!! If i had just walked in, i would have naturally expected the wait might be long. Next, online it asks for my SSN, which I don't like giving out. It stated "optional", so I did not enter it. When I hit next at the bottom, it took me back, highlighted the box in red and said REQUIRED. When I mentioned this, the clueless, not very helpful girl at the desk said, "oh you can just put in any 9 numbers". Well how the hell am I supposed to know that! Also, if that is the case, and you don't need it, have it DELETED!!! Now to the visit, after 1.5 hour wait, finally see the PA (she was adequate enough)....spent less than 5 mins with me (did I mention when I arrived there were only 6 people in the waiting room? At 5 mins a person, I should have been seen 45 mins ago!). Diagnose me with a sinus infection, would give me an antibiotic and some cough suppressant, follow up with my PCP if not better in a few days, RX called into pharmacy. Good to go. Only no, zero, nada visit summary....nothing at all in writing. No info on logging in to some top secret server to see my visit summary. Don't remember what pharmacy I chose when I completed the VERY brief registration online as I assumed there would be some sort of after care summary. Had to go back in and ask Miss clueless what pharmacy it was sent to. This is health care, not 7-11 where I'm buying a 6 pack and a taquito....I rightfully expected some better communication. I get a 10 mile long receipt when I purchase a candy bar at CVS! Gonna find a better urgent care for future needs! read more

Went to get tested for Covid. You need to find the security truck that is in front of the entrance door. Then they will give you paper work to fill out. Once you are done , give back to security. Then Security will take paperwork inside. You will need to wait in car until they call. Once called , you are requested to go to side door. Once at side door you will greeted by nurse who will do the swab. I don't know her name - I think she was of Indian decent- very professional, personal and kind. She did not make the procedure uncomfortable. The nurse provided the info we needed to find our results. Then the md will come out to talk to you ( only one md ) The md was informative and professional. The only thing I can complain about is wait. But with only one md I completely understand. Had a very good clinical experience there. I had a deep and bloody cut on my leg. I got there 30 mins before they closed, and nobody gave me any bad attitude for showing up so late. I had to wait for a short time because this little 4 year old kid came in with a bleeding head wound crying his eyes out. I certainly understood the toddler's needs were more important than mine. When I got into the treatment room, the Nurse Practitioner explained all the details and did a great job sewing me up. Nobody rushed me out the door, even though it was after hours. I came in to get treatment for an outer ear infection, which I was experiencing for several days. My left ear canal was bright pink and almost swollen shut. I was in pain and had difficulty hearing in the inflamed ear. Richard Cornish first suggested I likely had strep throat. He then examined my throat and briefly looked at my ears, overlooking the external swelling. After a strep test came back negative, he explained that the test is incorrect 5% of the time and diagnosed me with pharyngitis (strep throat). I mentioned that I wasn't experiencing typical strep symptoms, but rather had symptoms more aligned with a severe outer ear infection, including a nearly swollen shut left ear canal, pain, and hearing loss. Cornish replied that he didn't observe any swelling, without actually checking. The following morning at 8am (12 hours later), I called the office, spoke with Richard Cornish informing him I was still experiencing severe pain. I asked if he could prescribe antibiotic ear drops for my outer ear infection. He replied that I would need to come in and pay again for another diagnosis. I asked him why I needed to pay for a second diagnosis when the first one seemed to be a misdiagnosis. He stated that his first diagnosis was correct, regardless of symptoms. The next day I went to an ear, nose and throat specialist, who diagnosed me with an outer ear infection, prescribed antibiotic ear drops. As a result, the infection is almost gone. Richard Cornish's refusal to acknowledge his mistakes and his apathetic attitude are deeply troubling. Someone with this demeanor is a liability to the medical field. read more

My husband cut his finger and needed stitches. We did not have to wait long to be seen as he was bleeding a lot. However, the doctor that treated him, although personable, put in 5 stitches with hands that were shaking so badly I could hardly watch. He put in one at a time and not on a "loop" which would have worked better for that type of cut. We did not receive any treatment plan or report for the visit. By the time we went two minutes away for a bite and sat down, one stitch was already untied and falling out! The doctor did not cover it and we didn't have any large bandaids with us. The second came out later that night. Then the third and fourth within two days. And to be fair, my husband was NOT using that hand for anything the whole time and covered it up as soon as we got home. I do not recommend this urgent care. read more

I came in here for anxiety, I deal with on a daily. It was really bad this day, I really thought something was wrong (as we all do with anxiety). The staff was incredible. They didn't make me feel like I was some crazy person.The nurse really listened to everything I was concerned about. She was also so gentle with taking my blood (some are rough). The doctor who saw me was Dr.Applebaum ( I may have spelled his name wrong, sorry). He was incredible sweet and attentive. He did everything he was able to do to help me. He checked everything I was concerned about to calm my anxiety. I would recommend him to anyone, such a sweet man. They got my blood results fast as well. Just a great comforting experience. I paid my bill cash the day of service. I didn't even complain about the marginal service or the rate they charged me. Weeks later they tried to bill me for a service that was never performed. I explained to the lady at the call center that nothing more was done, and I was not going to pay for anything else. The next day, the location went and charged my debit card against my direct consent. I do not care about the twenty dollars they charged me. What I do care about is someone stealing from me. I learned not to go there when they are about to close. The doctor did not misdiagnose my daughter but instead, his lack of care, interest due to it being the end of the shift, ever giving test results or even giving us written discharge information later would result in an emergency room visit and emergency surgery. A three second exam of her throat without even using that highly expensive medical device know as a tongue depressor and two second exam of her ear missed a diagnosis that two doctors found quickly. I'm not doing it because I want compensation; I doing this because I feel that it is my civic duty to warn the masses about the disorganized and unfriendly hellhole that is AFC Warrington. So, strap in. This one's gonna be a doozy. I saw online that AFC Warrington didn't require a referral or appointment for a COVID-19 test, so I jumped on the opportunity to get one on one of my days off. I arrived around 8:15 since they opened at 8:30. The parking lot was full of people standing in front of their cars, unsure as to what was to happen. A gentleman went one by one to our cars and took our name and number so they could call back when the test was ready. There were about 20 names and numbers ahead of me. I figured I might as well go home for a bit instead of waiting in my car. Four hours go bye, no phone call or anything. I drove back to this excuse of an urgent care to see what was going on. I told the gentleman behind the desk my situation and he asked me if I had a number. I confusedly said no but I gave my phone number to the gentleman outside four hours earlier. He condescendingly said the sheet I signed was for people who didn't have a number and the gentleman outside was supposed to relay that information to me. He said that I should get a call sometime later. When I asked for an ETA, he shrugged and said, "I don't know how to help you." Well, maybe a manager would be able to explain the lack of communication, but the manager was *conveniently* busy when I asked to speak to them. I got back in my car and called AFC with my complaint but their voicemail was *conveniently* full. I drove home and started to write this novel. I finally got a call at 2:30 saying they were ready for me. They gave me a number (which would have been helpful SIX HOURS AGO.) I arrived around 3:00 and the gentleman who took my phone number earlier in the morning gave me a consent form to sign. He took my insurance card and ID and told me to wait in my car. So, now I'm waiting yet again and trapped because they had my information. I got the call back at 5:00 saying they were ready for me (again.) I pulled up to about a dozen people standing outside, confused and losing patience. They started calling our names. We quickly realized that they were calling us out of order, defeating the point of this number situation. As we grew restless, a female employee bluntly said they had no idea what they were doing. A gentleman behind me said he had been here for four hours and the employee shot back with, "I've been here for seven, so you're going to have to wait." As someone who has worked several customer service jobs, I would have been fired from all of them if I gave a customer an attitude like that. Finally, after waiting in line for a half hour, I finally get called over. The test, this giant ordeal which had taken up most of my day off, took less than 30 seconds to complete. My mind was blown that there was so much buildup for a procedure like that. I would have said something, but at that point, I was just glad that this hellish experience was over. So, here I am, writing an essay about the incompetence, dishonesty, and overall rudeness that I experienced over the course of about NINE HOURS. My theory is that AFC Warrington knows that they're the only ticket in town that doesn't require a referral or appointment and that it is increasingly difficult to schedule an appointment elsewhere, so they can treat guests like garbage because we have nowhere else to go for a test. If you're reading this, for your own benefit, never step foot near this joke of an establishment. Hell, at this point, you're probably better off getting a test at Chick-fil-A. They might give you an incorrect answer, but at least they know how to manage a crowd, especially on a Saturday. And, they do it all with a smile on their face. To the employees of AFC Warrington, I'd say that you be ashamed of yourselves, but you probably don't care. read more

I would give a one star review for when I first walked in there a few months ago. I saw a Nurse practitioner and she was not understanding nor came off as caring for the needs I came in for. She dismissed my questions. I advised her of medical history I had so she was aware (normally the dr should be asking you FIRST, before the patient just tells you). Not only was I in so much pain from the medication she provided, BUT I also got the results back before they did and called for them to further explain. Let's just say a week and two days later a dr (who I didn't even see) from a DIFFERENT location called me. After I called and left multiple messages at this location to explain test results. I've been getting billed the COPAY I ALREADY PAID! I called about this and still never got a phone call back after leaving multiple voice messages. My GI dr even said she had no understanding as to why this nurse practitioner would put me on a medication that could make my GI issues worse (hence why I tried to call to get off the medicine she proscribed! My pcp just took me off due to not hearing back). So today I called Willowgrove location and they answer but the girl pretty much said they were separately owned and couldn't really help but took down my name and number to try to reach out. So thankfully she was able to have them call me BUT her customer service was terrible at willowgrove location front desk! Ashley from this location was amazing! She had the best customer service even though she couldn't finish this WHOLE situation, she was still able to confirm I didn't owe anything and would reach out to the owner to make them aware of this! She was 10/10! I wanted to give her a shout-out. One for her amazing customer service and solving the problem for me in my eyes! DO NOT BOTHER MAKING AN APPOINTMENT: Made an online appointment for 9am to get a physical for my sos driving permit. Received a text verifying my appointment and it asked that I check in 10min early. We arrived at 8:45. Once checked in, I was informed of a $45 fee. I explained that I had insurance. Without looking at the card, the receptionist just said Aetna does not cover Urgent Care physicals. I paid and we sat down to wait. The screen with wait times said we were 3rd in line behind 2 walk ins and the wait would be 20-30 minutes. I inquired about our position in line and was just told people are in for different things. I explained the appointment time and they had no explanation. I asked for a refund and left. read more

The staff and the outside security all worked very hard to take care of hundreds of patients today for Covid-19 testing. Dr Feinman was so attentive and walked over to each car and asked how they where feeling and advised on what to do. The nurse who did my test( can't remember his name) was kind patient and very thorough. I waited 5 hrs but they had so many patients and handled them all so well. December 2020 changes: NO longer do drive through! I got there at 4:34 am today and was the 2nd person to arrive. *No signs indicated where to park, in which numerical order they will provide service or gauge who was there first* even though there were well over 40 cars on site by the time they began to hand out forms--which was at 7am--starting at the parking spot that if you were to drive into, AFC is to your 11 o'clock and if you back into it (single row with raised median dividing the two lots), AFC is to your 5. So: they start with the parking lot ACROSS the SIDE doors, *not the parking lot facing and adjacent to the main entrance.......* Today's Timeline: 4am: 1st person arrived 7am: forms distributed to cars by plaza security 8am: forms + photo I.D. + insurance cards collected by over 60 cars (more cars keep coming and the above repeats in cyclical waves) 830: they called the "first" patient via phone to exit their vehicle and walk inside the facility via the SIDE entrance (they failed to instruct me to come inside. They just said come to the side door, so I didn't mask up expecting it to be done outdoors) You get your ID and insurance card back at the time of your swab test The rest is too unpredictable as the first dozen people called in included neither myself or the 1st person to arrive--patients undergoing surgery are called first regardless of the order in which they arrived on scene as long as it was by 8 but they announced none of ANY of this so it caused confusion, hence this post Also: they ask you to SIT for the nasal swab. Every single person is expected to sit in ONE sole chair one after another (no other seats in this hallway at the side door)--very unsanitary, especially as it has arm rests effectively increasing the surfaces germs may spread. I declined to sit and so should you. The tech was dismayed at my declining to sit. Guess 130-150 people per day, sick or not, just sit in that one single chair without giving it one single thought..... Here's an estimate to gauge things by: the day prior, the 55th person got his phone call to enter the facility at 12:30pm according to a credible source met on site. So don't just wait there once you are given an assigned number/letter (they started with the letters of the alphabet and went to numbers after exhausting the 26th character). You get your letter/number by security after AFC staff sort through the forms we submit to them One more thing--security said they allotted their maximum number of available test kits and appointments by 8:50am the day prior. As per him, that max capacity from yesterday was 134 tests. So it's reasonable to assume that the 134th person got the last of the forms to fill at 8:50am and about an hour+ later, was informed that they are number 134 but likely without any context of what that entails...it entails that that person will get called in no sooner than 7pm, over 10 hours from the time they arrived Moral of the story = don't bother coming if your ETA is any time past 9am (for the foreseeable future). You will be turned away as they reach testing capacity by then My personal hack: I didn't wait for security to come to me to collect the AFC form I filled. Instead, within 10 mins of receiving it from them, I walked it over to the security team's pickup truck and informed Shane from plaza security (great guy!) I was leaving the form, photo id and insurance cards on the windshield of his truck and left the plaza to run home to pick up my son and bring him back to AFC for the test as he was the one who needed to get the test done. I got back at a cool 7:58am. Shane had said swab tests were to begin at 8. I rushed back for no reason though as nothing happened until 8:30. However, surgery patients kept going first. I didn't know they were surgery patients needing clearance until I voiced my confusion and anxiousness by 8:40 to Shane's colleague, pleading to get tested as I had to be at work by 9am. So after hearing my plight, she took it seriously and got AFC to call me inside in less than 4 minutes from hearing my concerns, so massive appreciation to her for that! read more

I brought my son here for a sore throat, which I suspected was step throat. The center is beautiful and clean and Jesse at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. We were seen quickly by Dr. Huber who was very nice and diagnosed my son with strep and called in the prescription. This will be go to urgent care center. Easy online registration. BUT!! Clearly states you can make an appointment for your booster/vaccine time slot and show up. Based on the notice online- we were first in line so went to front desk. Lines are seriously long for people getting PCRs and Antigen testing. Once with the staff, we said we were to get a booster- they told us to fill out forms which had already previously been filled out on line. Once we did that- we waited. Two people who arrived and registered after us- were called in BEFORE us. The lady giving shots said she was calling them as she received the forms. What I don't understand is why have anyone make an appt- fill in all info on line and then proceed to make us sit in a crowded room with a bunch of potentially sick people to do this? System is not working and I understand that staff is working hard and doing their best. They were all friendly. However I feel this is an administrative or organizational flaw and I wouldn't come back. Not during theses COVID times. read more

This place is full of negligence and should be ashamed to be called an urgent care. I needed a covid test and this was a site that didn't require an appointment for their drive thru. It took 2 hours to move towards the front to finally get swabbed. They instructed that they would call in 1-2 days if positive or to check the portal. I waited and did not hear from anyone but checked the portal persistently and NOTHING. I must have called over 10 times, (what if I was really having an emergency?) before getting through to someone who said they recorded my date of birth incorrectly and therefor that needs to be changed for labcorp to obtain the results. I called labcorp without surprise no answer until I got another call from the urgent care to explain that not only do they have the wrong date of birth but they have NO SPECIMEN! I could not believe this type of negligence especially during critical medical times that we are in! How do you lose a swab?! They should be ashamed to even have urgent care as a title if they can't even manage the most important tasks right now which is to give adequate means of covid testing. Didn't know about this place before last week. Needed to get checked put after falling and not being able to walk right. The usual place I go to had a wait, so they recommended here. Went in, no wait, although I liked the call-ahead thing. They were efficient, I actually saw a doctor, which is amazing these days (not even the ER brings in a doc). (To be clear - nothing against PAs, they've treated me well; nurses have been hit or strong miss). Ruled out fractures, so off I went. Gave me a recommendation of a specialist to followup with, which was nice. read more

In June, I fell and broke my right wrist. Instead of taking a chance on a prolonged wait in the ED, I called AFC Urgent Care in Warrington to see if I could schedule an appointment. The staff member answering the phone was terrific and I was able to get an appointment right away. Once there, I was taken back to an exam room, saw the doctor and given an X-ray, which confirmed a break. Everyone was polite, caring and competent! I needed to see an orthopedic hand surgeon and they went out of their way to get me an appointment the very next day. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with the care and I highly recommend this company. read more

the COVID testing took wayyyy longer than it needed to. they have a terrible process. making people wait two hours for a test and making everyone stand outside...ridiculous. also no need for the nurse and doctor to repeat the same information. just let the nurse talk, no need for the doctor to talk to us at all. so unhappy with this system. waste of my time. they should hire more people or come up with a better system. read more
