I had a very disappointing experience with Cassandra Vincent, PA. My visit involved a…read morestraightforward ear evaluation, and I clearly explained the reason for my visit multiple times. Despite that, I felt I was not being actively listened to and had to repeatedly restate the same information. What concerned me most was reviewing my medical record afterward and finding that Cassandra Vincent documented that I was a "poor historian" and "intermittently agitated/defensive." In my opinion, those statements were inaccurate and did not reflect what actually occurred during the visit. My explanation remained consistent from beginning to end, and any frustration I expressed resulted from having to repeatedly explain the purpose of my visit because I wasn't being heard. After the visit, I raised my concerns with the office manager, who listened professionally, addressed my concerns respectfully, and ensured I received the documentation I needed. I appreciated her professionalism and willingness to help. However, discovering those characterizations in my medical record after raising my concerns left me with serious concerns about whether my interaction was documented fairly and objectively. Medical records should be factual, unbiased, and free from language that can unfairly characterize a patient. I formally requested that my concerns be reviewed because patients deserve accurate documentation, respectful communication, and professional care.

The front desk people are rude. I made an appointment still had to sit in the lobby 30 min after my…read moreappointment time. The front desk people couldn't care less not one apology but multiple eye rolls. Healthcare in this country is already nonsense. It's just sad that the neighborhood urgent care insists on making it worse. Taking the care out of healthcare completely. I should have known by the month old manicure and the amount of visible dandruff on the desk lady's scalp that I'd get no care or compassion there. Cause how are you expected to care for people when you could barely care for yourself. Also you're the front desk person you set the tone. So now im thinking I'm not gonna receive the care I need, I'm thinking this place is filthy and probably the last time I'll be back. The physicians assistant seemed nice enough but I was left baffled when he informed me that that there was only one person on today that can see patients and there were still 4 ahead of me. It seems really greedy that you won't just turn off appointments and let the doc catch up. It's also ridiculous that you only have one person here to serve the community. And you keep them understaffed. This isn't the first time I've seen this here. On top of that I also have to go to a different location for an X-ray. Because along with the lack of physicians and/or nurse practitioners you also don't employ a xray tech full time. It's just one thing after another. I will be sure to avoid this location in the future. All of this with this the first hour after my appointment, and still no physician. When he finally came. He was very short and not super clear on what I should be doing until I asked him, "so what should I do for this?" And even then not really clear instructions or after care instructions. So again will not be back!

My experience was actually very good considering the urgency of the situation…read more Came in last wed and was seen by dr Buccellato "dr. B" had severe cramps and had to travel early the next morning. The doctor examined me and acted so prompt and fast considering the pain I was in, as I ran to the bathroom and came back the urine sample must have shown new results and as he came back in the room he told me the new news. I needed to go to ER For emergency procedure he acted so fast and was so calm in the midst of my horrific panic. The staff acted a bit standoffish well I'm sure because I was practically screaming in horror and pure shock of the diagnosis they were nice but didn't know how to handle a full panic person who was about to faint from the shock it's ok they did their best and I could tell. I would like to point out the doctor was excellent. He assessed the situation and handled it like an emergency room pro. I was placed on an IV before ambulance arrived and just felt I was taken care of in the best way possible. The doctors presumed diagnosis was confirmed when I went to the ER and they acted accordingly probably saving my life! So I am very thankful for City MD having quality staff and quality experience. They called me a day later to follow up, and doctor B called me today to check on me. It adds such a personal touch when the doctor calls to see how it all worked out. Ps they have chargers for your cellphone which didn't work but tip for them to get those fixed Bc I really needed to charge my dying phone in the midst of the panic trying to text my husband. The location is super modern, clean, very welcoming and I would def go there again if I had to.

That request felt completely antithetical to professionalism and basic respect. I came in, paid my $40 co-pay, and just wanted treatment for my swollen ring finger. These are prescription lenses, not a fashion accessory. When I declined to remove them, he refused to treat me and told me to go to the ER instead. I even asked to have my finger numbed before the procedure, and he brushed it off. The nurse was kind and helpful, but the doctor's behavior overshadowed everything. As a 40-year-old Afro-Latina in this neighborhood, I strongly doubt a 40-year-old white woman would have been spoken to or treated this way, let alone have her care withheld over prescription glasses. CityMD still has not refunded my co-pay, despite the fact that I received no medical services. The doctor's superior attitude and dismissive conduct were insulting and unnecessary. "Now you officially have the Supreme touch."
