I went to see Jeanette at her new offices in Montecito. The space is beautiful and a pleasant place to be treated. I had never had fillers before, so was a bit nervous, but Jeanette put me to ease and used full dental blocks so I would not feel anything. All of this was good. I have to say that the other rave reviews on Yelp though do not align with my experience. To start with, I had asked her staff when I booked if I could fill out the paperwork before I arrived and was told no, I had to do it there. So I wasted 15 minutes filling out forms that I could have completed in advance. And then, those forms were not even reviewed, so why did I bother!? I was not given any post-op instructions and was shocked to awake the next morning to find my lips very swollen and 'bee sting' looking - which was what I was afraid of! I also had some puncture marks and a little bruising. Thinking about it, this could probably have been anticipated, but it would have been nice to have some post-op instructions and a 'heads-up' about the bruising and puncture marks. When I commented about this at my post-op appointment I was asked why I didn't 'ice' the area... probably because I was not told to do so! I was asked to come back two days later for a post-op check. I did this, and on my way the traffic was horrific! So I called and left a message (no one ever answers the phone, by the way, you have to leave a message) to say I would be two or three minutes late. I arrived exactly two minutes after my scheduled time and then stood at the front desk for 7, yes 7, minutes before anyone came out to see me. When I apologized for being 'late' I was told, in a very snotty tone, 'well, at least you are here now'!!! I let her know that I had been waiting for 7 minutes at the desk and she said nothing about that, just 'come in now'. I was concerned that my upper lip was now showing many more lines than previous - particularly one line. Jeanette told me I was 'maxed out' on the amount of product I could have now and she could address this deep line when I returned for my next visit. Ok, I get it if I was 'maxed out', I'm sure there are rules for this kind of thing. But the feeling I got was that she just didn't want to use any more product on me, as I had exceeded the amount I had paid for. As I say, this is just a feeling, but it was pretty clear. I was also told that the result would not be that good because 'you waited too long to get treatment'!!!!! As if I could prevent the process of aging! And then I was 'dismissed' by her saying, 'well, i have to go treat another patient now' and leaving the room. I'm sure Jeanette is a fantastic aesthetician. Her reviews are great. But in my case I did not feel that I was treated as a valued client by anyone in the office. I won't be going back, I'm afraid. I expect to be treated with respect when I have treatments, no matter where. read more

I normally only see a plastic surgeon for injections after having a not so good experience at another medical spa in Santa Barbara. However after being recommended to Jeanette by a friend and seeing her work I decided to book an appointment. Jeanette was just excellent from the moment I arrived! The staff was friendly and she was so knowledgeable about the products and different injecting techniques. My filler was placed perfectly and I had basically no bruising afterwards. I have gone to Jeanette on a few occasions, but my most recent visit to her was the absolute best experience I could ever ask for. I had gone in to see if she could fix a, more or less, botched job that was done on my nose. (I had gone to a plastic surgeon to have them put fillers in, to straighten the appearance, but it was only made worse. Not only that, but the experience with the surgeon was extremely painful and almost unbearable.) After my previous experience, I was worried that Jeannette would not be able to fix what had been done by someone else, but she went above and beyond what I had expected! Not only did she completely FIX the bad job that was done and make it look 10x better, but she made it almost completely painless. Jeannette has such a soft touch, that having needles in my nose was almost, shall I say, relaxing! (crazy to say, I know, especially since I am TERRIFIED of needles) Jeanette listened to all my suggestions and answered any questions that I had.
