I have been getting expensive laser treatments for years, I finally got the courage to go explore…read morebotox as a possible solution to elicit better results (and as years pass I figure it's inevitable at some point). I don't like needles and the thought of having jabs in the face was frightening; this is the reason I knew I wanted to seek a Physicians expertise for something this important (I traditionally visited Med Spas). I was delighted with the information I received from the Nurse Practitioner Naomi who "diagnosed" so much more than what I even knew was contributing to the visible aging on my face. I learned about fillers and what importance they hold in supporting my face and decided to move forward with the plan and recommendations she outlined. Procedure day I was pretty nervous, luckily because it is a Dr's office they were able to provide Ativan to help calm my nerves. Dr Jana Bentley is so friendly and lovely that it just feels like you're hanging out for coffee, meanwhile she's expertly performing a "mini facelift". There was also a supportive nurse Kelly in the room rolling a jade roller on other parts of my face to distract me. I am so happy with the results, I look exactly like me only better. My husband just said my skin looked great and he couldn't quite place what was different. This is precisely what I wanted, I was fearful that fillers had that "obvious look"; which is why I'm so pleased I have access to a professional that has mastered artistry to enhance what is already there. Thank you so much Dr Bentley and team!!!!

Extremely disappointed. There are few clinics available in…read morethe BC Interior that treat pre-cancerous skin cells. I went to Lakeshore Vein & Aesthetics Clinic last year (2015) for Metvix treatment (tx). I was happy with the tx so returned this year for further tx. The application charges (which are not covered by extended health plans) jumped by 400% from $50 to apply a tube of Metvix to half of the face, to $200. The application is done by an LPN and takes less than 20 minutes. Additionally, the clinic hikes the price of the Metvix over and above the pharmacy price; this price was further boosted this year. BC Interior has only one Dermatologist with a waitlist of 1-2+ years. Dr Bentley and other MDs of this clinic are not dermatologists. Shame on them for charging such exorbitant prices for a medically significant, preventive health care service which is not cosmetic.

After calling all other offices and comparing price quotes, reviews and talking with my girlfriend…read moreabout everyone we know and where they went I decided on here. I wanted Juvederm lip fillers and this would be my first time so yes, I was nervous/excited and my gut was in a knot. Kim was my injector and she was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It was a surreal experience and the hours leading up seemed to drag by but once I got in there, things moved nicely and before I knew it we were done. We used 1 syringe on my lips and Kim did an amazing job! I want my lips to stay exactly this way but I understand that they may be a bit swollen. My biggest fears were that a) I wouldn't see a change and would therefore have just wasted 500(or so) bucks or b) have them look awful. So I was soo relieved and excited at the end result when I looked in the mirror and they looked awesome(you could say it was a fun and pleasant shock). I asked for a sexy pouty (Kylie Jenner (I know I was embarrassed to ask but still)) look and Kim knew what I was goin for. One of the things I read online was to make sure you get a doctor to do the injections, well I looked into that and the price does go up quite a bit, but honestly I have no negatives to say about my experience at Okanagan Skincare and am very glad I chose them. I'm happy with the result and will be going back when I need a touch up(let's hope it lasts forever though;) Stats: female/26/Juvederm-ultra; 1syringe/$500.00 Update June 21: after my first visit I decided I wanted more so I went a second time and had Kim again. She was as great as ever and my lips looked good right away! Unfortunately though after a week or two I wasn't seeing that much improvement, which was probably just my face shape(lip contouring) or my body metabolizing it quickly. So obviously after shellin out a good chunk of change I was disappointed that I my lips didn't end up the way I wanted them to:(. So, without much expectations for anything I ended up calling them and explaining how I felt. Vivienne was working the phones and was so helpful and understanding, she made me feel at ease and hopeful that something could be done. She booked me in for Tuesday and I just got back from there! You wouldn't believe it! They treated me so nice and gave me a complimentary syringe, which was more than I could have hoped for. So no matter what, I am so pleased about my experience with Okangan Skin centre and really feel well taken care of. Thank you so much!

Advertised as a dermatologist clinic, but you'll only talk to Nurses instead of the Dr who…read morespecializes in skin care. My first contact with Okanagan Skin Care Centre was over email, and then booking an appointment with email as well. This is an awesome practice to have for businesses looking to increase traffic or business. Now when I got there, I told the Nurse I wasn't interested in any sort of facial scrubs as they all seem to be like proactive (this is an awesome product, pay us). The nurse agree'd that proactive was overpriced and overvalued for what it actually did - this then segued into the nurses pitch for their own line of facial scrubs, toners, anti-aging, and revitalizing products. When talking to a medical professional, I take them at face value as I trust the education they have. DO NOT TRUST THE PEOPLE HERE, THE NURSES ARE SALES PEOPLE. I was sold a $300 package, which was originally $600-700 but a few products taken away ($60 lotion, really?) to make it cheaper. They tried selling me a tube the size of 2 fingers that cost $160 - I couldn't even listen to what it did as I was hemorrhaging through my wallet at this point. Long story short, someone I thought I could trust ripped me off. I now have 3 bottles of face cleaner that don't come close to what the nurse told me they would do. I've had better success going to a general MD and asking for a prescription of whatever comes to their head first. At least it's covered by health care, proven to work and won't make me feel like I've had money taken from me without anything to show for it. I guess $300 is the price I pay to find out there are untrustworthy people in Health Care. Kimberly - you sold me snake oil with a smile on your face and I'll never forget it.
