I submitted (Feb.3rd) my resume to this agency, and I received a call back the next business day by a female employee. I regret not getting her name. The employee expressed interest in my resume, and asked if I will personally come in for further discussion. I had to back out for that day, but she stated they take "Walk-Ins." So, a week or two later I get dressed for an interview, and I drive twenty some minutes to their office. Only to be told I have to have an appointment by the receptionist. I explained to her repeatedly what I was told on the previous phone conversation. The receptionist gave many excuses why I would not be seen by any staff: 1)They were on short staff that day, 2) I may have been told by another Aerotek location about "Walk-Ins," (I called their 301 phone number) and there is no way no way anyone could see me because they only handle appointments. 3) Maybe I talked to a Lexie, but she was not in the office. The receptionist did call to the back office, and spoke to someone, but this individual would not come out. After the receptionist gave numerous reasons of why I may have been mistaken about my phone conversation, I showed her the email I received. When it was obviously apparent I would not see anyone, I left stating how this was unacceptable. Seeing this is how they treat potential clients due to their poor communication, and failure to at least show their face from the back office, I rather go somewhere else. Shop somewhere else folks to an agency, who would at least have the decency to come from the back office and meet with you. That was forty minutes of drive time I will not get back. With my exceptional experience in the field of customer service, and sales I will look elsewhere. If I could give a "0" for this review I would be pleased.
