I gave her all the info I had, made notes on what else she needed and emailed her with some follow up questions within the week. I did not receive a response and had to follow up a couple different times until we figured out my emails were in her junk folder. The same thing happened again after that. Besides the communication issues, I was disappointed at paying a hefty fee for CPA to find out she did my taxes wrong. After my husband spoke to her receptionist to straighten things out, the taxes were fixed. I have no faith that all the other complicated stuff that I was scared to do myself was done correctly to maximize my return. Also- I got absolutely no tips on what to do for next year. After messaging a few times and calling this location I was unable to reach her so I contacted H&R customer service. After 90 minutes on the phone I was told my taxes would be reassigned to someone else but that didn't happen. Today I contacted customer service again and they kicked my taxes back so that I could file without assistance and they refunded the pax pro fee. After years of filing with HRB I asked for a full refund as a show of good faith and they denied. Overall, Vanessa was unresponsive, and HRB customer service is slow. the woman I spoke with today got the job done but had a mood despite me starting the conversation off calmly and polite. I will not be using their services again.
