Mike communicated extremely promptly over email. He met with us before the wedding to discuss details. He worked with our unique concerns. Mike touched up the photographs to make a scar on my face unnoticeable. Mike took lovely pictures of my parents dancing at the reception, which I have desired for a long time. We were married in a Catholic church and Mike was extremely respectful of the sanctity of the Sacrament. He has experience photographing Extraordinary Form wedding Masses. Mike also gave us rights to all of the photographs. He gave us a flash drive containing all of the photographs and a Use License. Many photographers do not do this at a reasonable price. I am thankful that I found Mike Banno. I recommend his company, Forward Exposure, without any reservations.

They are friendly and easy to work with. They had great ideas. They even realized I play the sport disc golf and took the time to get some unique shots with frisbees flying over our heads. The video is fantastic too. I really like that I have an accurate view of how the day went rather than a 5 minute cinematic movie about the day. I can rewatch my bride walking down the aisle, or my parents giving their speech at the reception. My life is better for having hired these two. I would recommend this great company to anyone.

It's hard to know where to even begin a review for Alex. There was never a moment we doubted choosing Alex. We would choose him again and again and will reach out to him in the future for anniversary photography. Alex has a beautiful ability to capture all the emotions tucked beneath the surface. This is what we wanted above all else. Photography that went beyond the static and the smiles and the posing and the family portraits. Alex does just that. I know when we look back on our wedding images years from now we will be struck with the tidal wave of emotions we were feeling. The tidal wave of emotions that Alex so perfectly captured.

Alex far surpassed any expectations we had of him as our wedding photographer. We were initially…read moreattracted to his unconventional style, use of lighting and the emotion involved in his work. The vision behind his work was made evident to us when we first met him. His willingness to go the extra mile was displayed in our proposal shoot where he hid and captured the moment when my husband proposed to me. Throughout the course of our engagement, Alex was consistently willing to try new things and take risks when photographing us. During our engagement shoot, Alex walked through three feet of snow with us just to get the perfect shot! In between shoots, Alex wanted to catch up with us over dinner and always asked how we were doing or how he could help us out during the engagement process. He truly cared about us as a couple and wanted to invest in our relationship. From beginning to end, Alex communicated clearly with timelines and delivered earlier than promised. He did not cut any corners and made sure that we got exactly what we wanted and much more. The day of our wedding, Alex was such a calming presence, which was much appreciated amongst the overwhelming nature of that day. He collaborated beautifully with our videographer and day of team to capture every detail of our special day. Alex was light-hearted, optimistic and ready to crack a joke right when we needed it. My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend booking Alex for your proposal, engagement, and wedding. He's fairly priced, over delivers, and his work speaks for itself. We booked him as a photographer, but ended up making a great friend. So grateful for the memories that Alex captured!!
