I don't leave reviews but this company's billing department has been so horrible to deal with, I'm making an exception. They charged me $361 in September 2025 and then attempted to charge it again early in 2026. When I called to inquire, their rude overseas call center employee kept telling me to get the app for no reason at all, and then just hung up on me. Finally I got someone that explained that instead of applying $361 to the invoice as agreed, they applied it to subsequent smaller invoices they did not even make available in the web or via paper or otherwise: simply, siphoning out of my "credit" they misapplied. Now, they demand a refill of their slush fund and heaven only knows what it'll be applied to. Tired of their overseas call center, I finally wrote an email and multiple days later finally got a response attempting to explain their shady billing but with no apology or willingness to make this right, and then they simply closed the ticket after I replied back to them within an hour. Their online payments have been broken for weeks, "Cannot contact payment gateway". Their payment system on a good day is so horrible that it says you might see payment errors and to wait a day before you try again. Seriously? It's 2026, folks. This has been the worst, shadiest medical billing situation I've ever encountered. Stay away, and send a message to this company: we will not do business with you until you are ethical and transparent. read more

I was directed to use AeroCare/AdaptHealth/Major Medical (all the same company) as they are my Insurance carrier's in-Network provider for CPAP equipment & supplies. Their "Sleep Coaches" are okay with some being very helpful. However, their billing department is 100% FRAUDULENT. When I called to ask why I was being double billed for something they were rude and argumentative. I asked my Insurance company to contact and assist. They absolutely lied to my Insurance and made excuses for what charges were for. There should be negative stars. Be forewarned they are crooks and beyond slimy! read more

AeroCare (aka: Adapt Health / Major Medical) is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I am convinced that every single employee at this company has mental illness, hates everyone, and purposely causes problems out of angst. I am yet to work with anyone halfway polite, with any sense of customer service ability, or emotional intelligence. Almost every order I have placed has been wrong. Nevermind, that the type of machine I have is glaringly obvious when the employee looks at my account. Even better, they say I have to drive across town to the nearest location to rectify their error!!!! Just re-order the item for free!!! What a flippin' concept. I had to make 3 separate phone calls today, just to get a person who could help fix an order they messed up. Right outta the gate this particular employee had the audacity to say, "Well, you placed the order." Yeah, with a human on the other end of the phone who I thought could see what machine I had, and therefore could tell which tank to order, but NOOOOOO! Furthermore, this employee somehow, I can't even fathom how, order the wrong item again!!!! Guess I get the pleasure of talking with yet another unprofessional disgruntled employee tomorrow. I actually resurrected my yelp account to post this, not that anyone working here cares, but in the hopes that someone might see it and avoid my fate. The initial appointment for my machine went well, but everything went downhill after changing employers. There is literally no way to update your insurance information. Updating it on the portal does not work. Calling into their support line does not work. I attempted multiple times to update my insurance information and each and every time they failed to update it for me, to the point where they are now saying I owe $950 and are threatening to send me to collections if I do not pay. They either input bad information or didn't put any info in at all, I can't even tell, because I get different information every time I try and address this. They talk over you, lie to your face, and go out of their way to be uncaring and unhelpful that you're trying to do the right thing and update info. They also like to hang up on you when you try to call after transferring you to multiple groups, none of whom can help. Someone came to my house to repossess my CPAP machine, discovered there was no insurance info, TOOK A PICTURE OF MY INSURANCE CARD AND CLAIMED THEY WOULD UPLOAD IT, and after THAT didn't resolve anything, I finally came into this location after several attempts to resolve over the phone and was assured someone who worked there who does billing would be in touch with me after they looked at my profile and were shocked to discover no insurance info was in the portal. Surprise surprise, nobody ever got in touch with me. They also refused to take the machine back, so apparently I'm...stuck with it? To be billed forever and ever into eternity? I can't wait for them to ruin my credit thanks to their constant screw ups. Nobody cares about helping you or doing anything at all. I truly hope they go out of business but companies like this are everywhere so even if they folded, someone just as bad would take their place. Oh and don't bother trying to call this branch locally, because you just get a phone menu that routes you to a centralized scheduling team or a call center in Pueblo. We were discharged from the hospital over 30 hours ago, and AeroCare was supposed to deliver oxygen for my 19-month-old daughter, who has RSV. We've made countless calls, left voicemails, and kept being told that our driver, Avery, would contact us -- but that never happened. It's now 6:30 PM, and we've been left stressed and waiting with no clear answers. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is that after around 10 calls, including to the Pueblo office, Tim called back and promised they would get the oxygen to us today. ***Update Larry the night shift guy just called and we are his next stop. Larry and Tim were incredible but it seems that Avery left us high and dry. read more

Absolutely worst customer service, ever. We've been with them for a BIPAP rent-to-own plan, since October 2023. We had to change insurance when I was laid off, so the almost $600 we had paid them out of pocket, was wiped off the books, and they start charging us again for the full price. We've paid another $1500-1600, on top of this so far. Last November we were told we were paid up, and owed nothing more for the machine, then we received a bill for $566 for a July rental fee. We have requested contract documentation specifying the price and contract conditions several times and have received no documentation from them. All the billing department wants to do is take your money, and get you off the phone. We've called them repeatedly since Oct-Nov 2024, and their only consistency is their inconsistent and unverifiable statements. read more

Tell them not to leave msgs at the house without naming the patient, they won't comply. Their business hours don't provide for me to call unless I'm at work. I emailed them to email us on what they needed--nothing. Now my doctor is told I must be seen in person or virtually to receive my supplies. I just saw her last week. I have been with Adapthealth and Aerocare for at least 7yrs. I am on home & portable oxygen and never had any decent servie with either companies. I was told my Rx was expiring and I had to get renewed thru my Pulmonary Docto. Aerocare sent me a message saying the Rx was renewed and they were going to change out my system, they told me to call back 5/15/23 to find out when they can delive, I talked to a rep. she said, they are going to call me today for delivery time. I called back this afternoon and the lady said, there was nothing scheduled and they would call back sometime to schedule. To me that is poor customer service! Aerocare is the very WORST oxygen/CPAP supplier in America! My doctor sent a prescription to Aerocare 2 weeks ago and I still don't have my CPAP. I call everyday and all I get is one excuse after another! Unfortunately, there aren't any decent options in Colorado Springs...Apria is terrible also! Poor customer service, poor communications, and zero considerations for patient care. I'd give zero stars if possible. Over the course of over 3 weeks, I've constantly received the run around and lack of contact when it came to oxygen equipment requirements. Considering the significance of requiring my O2 levels to be at a certain point, you would think that this company would have more competency and a sense of urgency to their customers. After a handful of times having my provider send over the necessary documents for equipment, it's taken this company a week to fully respond. And during the frustration of the process, I'm having to play middleman between their reps and my provider. If you don't stay on top of them, you'll never hear from them. Finally after a week of waiting, I get my appointment and they see me for 5 minutes, hook me up to an oximeter, and the readings in 2 minutes disqualify me. However, once i leave, my levels are dropped. But they don't care about what your needs are throughout the day, just in the 2 minutes they test you. Don't waste your time sending your prescriptions/referrals this way, you may die in the process. read more

8 Jan 23 - a couple of years ago after a sleep study I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea so I have been sleeping with a CPAP machine and all kinds of different masks that leave marks on my face or are very uncomfortable. This company that provides my CPAP supplies is a great company because they call me or email me all the time to see if I need any supplies. I am always looking for a mask that is more comfortable so last week I called them and told them I had seen a new mask on line that did not have the straps across the forehead because they leave marks on my forehead. The mask that I had seen on line and was inquiring about they told me had been taken of the market. She told me that they had one that was similar that I could try and it would take 5-7 shipping days. Yesterday it arrived and I used it last night and it was great! This company cares about my needs and is always willing to send me a different mask to make me feel more comfortable at night. I highly recommend this company because their employees genuinely care about your needs. read more

***Proceed with CAUTION*** you pay ~$1000 for a device they dictate how frequently you use it. If not, they WILL show up to your house unannounced and take it back. This is not disclosed ahead of time. I'm sure it is in fine print. I called them to try to figure out settings and why it made me feel like I'm choking. No one ever called me back. When I did finally reach someone, they're booked out so far, the 90 day window allowed doesn't even matter anymore. I recommend buying the device from amazon or a medical supplier. Then watch YouTube videos to use it. It'll be as much and probably more help than you'll get from this place. read more

Never ending battle to get supplies. I have been with this company for several years now, and the only reason I stay is because I really liked my respiratory therapist. It is impossible to get supplies without multiple calls, and until recently my RT would run by anything they forgot..which is every single order. Then they went "out of network" with insurance, even though my insurance company lists them as being in network. During that time they continued to send (the wrong) supplies and then bill me for them. According to them, it is my responsibility to "know" when they are in network and when they are not. They are the ONLY medical supplier I deal with that has such a complete and utter lack of respect for their patients. I am currently on chemo now as well, and in addition to just trying to live, I STILL have to fight with them for supplies just so I can breathe. There is zero excuse to treat complex patients this badly. Stay away if you can. They don't care, there is no recourse, and you're just another dollar sign to them...seriously..they are willing to lose a patient over the remaining $15 they insist I still owe after vanishing from in network then coming back in, and they harass me constantly to get it paid. read more

Wow I definitely am not enjoying leaving this review and is so unfortunate that I am at a time in my life that I became semi dependent on them. I was awaiting release from the hospital on 3/31/23 but AeroCare advised my dr as he was putting in my order for a cane that they would not be able to get any medical equipment delivered to me until first thing Monday morning. On Monday 4/3/23 before 9am I received a call from AeroCare to confirm the delivery address and was told it was being assigned to a delivery driver now so I responded Great it will be there this evening because I can not do anything but sit without it. I arrived at my home at exactly 3pm on 4/3/23 from the hospital. I was expecting my cane when I pulled up and summoned my wife to go retrieve it but she immediately stated, "there is no cane ". I then quickly called AeroCare to inquire about the whereabouts of my absolutely needed medical device and was told that it has just been assigned and the driver was picking it up to deliver, 5-7 minutes later I get a call from AeroCare and the lady is on the phone telling me, "unfortunately we don't have drivers available to deliver your cane and shower chair so we are going to just ship it. I then responded that I not only stayed in the hospital for an additional 2 days but was lied to more than once, my doctor was lied to, my time was wasted all day and was not able to do anything but just sit, so my wife paid $30 for a cane and $85 for a shower chair. It was free through my insurance that I could not use at this particular pharmacy only for prescriptions. I don't recommend AeroCare for ANYTHING! This should be considered patient abuse or abuse to the physically handicap. Just had surgery on my right hip, shoulder, and humerus read more

Having enormous difficulty with this company. Doctor office is telling me this company has filled my order. I am telling my Doctor that I did not receive a fitting for a full mask, nor did I get the mask. Also, cannot call this location directly. Have to go through the parent company. I was told 3 months of rent and have been billed 4. Once this full face mask situation is sorted out - I am leaving this company to find another durable goods provider for my cpap supplies. read more

Honestly SO frustrated with this company. It takes FOREVER to get CPAP supplies. I was told supplies will be shipped automatically. HA!After speaking with a representative about what supplies are needed, they either ship the wrong supplies or the order is not complete. Forget about trying to get a hold of anyone knowledgeable or helpful. I'm typically transferred back and forth between the supply company and the local storefront. This location is not handicapped accessible. They sell wheelchairs and medical supplies, but have no electric button to open the door. They do provide a rock to prop it open. I am hoping for tomorrow as I have requested more and told them how urgent it is. I live very close to them. I was ordered to get Oxygen by my doctor. They sent the prescription to this place. They proceeded to call me to get everything set up my first question was how much is this going to cost me per month? They had all my information. The response I got was my insurance cover it 100% I would not be charged anyting. After 3 months of using the machines I get a bill for almost $300. In calling them they told me it's my responsibility to know my insurance and what my insurance pays. After talking to two other oxygen supply places they check with my insurance and told me what I would have to pay. This place did not do any of that. They did not follow procedures. They do not care about their customers they care about getting accounts. I would not do business with them again if I had to if they were the last place on Earth. I would suffocate. read more

Aerocare is the absolute worst company I've ever had the misfortune to use. My sister died and I've been in Tucson, where Aerocare does NOT have an office, for the last two months. I had to lug my heavy machine with me because travel machines cannot be found and I couldn't call to have one unit or tanks delivered to my mother's house because there's no office in Tucson. I'm on my way home and staying overnight at a motel in Santa Fe, where Aerocare has an office and I phoned for assistance because my machine will not turn on. When I called the Aerocare number in Santa Fe, I was connected with after hour services who told me because I was not a Pacific Pulmonary customer they could not help me even though they are the after hours help of Aerocare customers in Santa Fe. They told me to call my local after hours number in Colorado Springs. I called my local number and was told they could not help me either since they can't control the people in Santa Fe and they could not deliver me a machine out of state. I was told to leave the motel room I PAID FOR to go spend the night in the ER at a hospital in Santa Fe so I could wait all night for a referral for an oxygen tank. No offer was made to reimburse me for my motel room. So, I'm a paying customer going without the oxygen I need. Aerocare offices should work with each other state to state for the health and well being of its customers. You people give abhorrently bad service. If I could give you ZERO stars I would. My advice to potential customers is to do business elsewhere. read more

This company REQUIRES ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT OR YOUR PERSONAL CREDIT CARD before they will do business with them!! I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical Insurance and BCBS verified my benefits and their payment to this provider for services provided. I have met my ANNUAL calendar year deductible and out-of-pocket max, therefore NO PAYMENT IS DUE FROM ME. EACH AND EVERY YEAR I work with Multiple Hospitals, Home Health Care Providers, Physical Therapists as well as over 50 Doctors and Specialists! NOT ONE OF THEM HAS EVER asked for access to my PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT or CREDIT CARD in order to do business with them, this includes services provided BEFORE MY DEDUCTIBLE OR OUT OF POCKET MAXIMUM HAS BEEN MET. BCBS told me before the appointment that I should ask for a bill if a payment is due. This is the normal operating practice for all medical providers. In addition, I asked for confirmation that we could proceed without ACCESS to my PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT or CREDIT CARD and they told me if it was a problem they would let me know. I went to the appointment and spent OVER an HOUR getting fitted for the medical equipment only to learn they will NOT BILL me if BCBS doesn't pay as they have promised. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS PROVIDER OR EVER GIVE ANYONE ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT OR CREDIT CARD!! I am filing a complaint with BCBS Medical Insurance, the Better Business Bureau as well as all rating companies available to me. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. i had to use this company for my childs at home oxygen test four times and every single time the two employees at the front desk gave my wife and I the run around. They didn't want to do their jobs and simply print out the results sheet or get us a test that we had an order for a week prior. michael and Todd are the two employees names. if you are forced to use this company for a loved one do not let them tell you that "they can't get the machine or they can't print out the results because the person who does that called off today" they lied to us multiple times and we were told to our faces "yes I can print the results, but that's not my job". Finally after a heated argument Michael decides that he can print off the results for our son's oxygen test. the following day I called Aerocare's main office in Denver and filed a complaint against this office and then received a phone call from the store'a manager apologizing for the employee's behavior. They do not care about their patients, they are lazy, and they will lie to you. read more

We were prescribed oxygen for our toddler who is dealing with low blood oxygen while sick. The hospital coordinated with Aero to get oxygen delivered to our house and we've spent the whole morning after being discharged just trying to get them to pick up the phone to schedule it. We have one small tank to take home but we were otherwise completely dependent on them to provide us more so our son's oxygen doesn't dip. They have non-existent customer service and the hospital said that other patients have had the same experience. We were lucky enough to find another company in another city that does pick up the phone so we are going with them. Don't wait for AeroCare to pick up the phone since they likely won't and try to find another company in your area. AeroCare is responsible for something that people rely on to live and they can't even provide the most basic level of customer service. It's a trash company. read more

This place is awful. They continue to charge my credit card and I turned in my oxygen August 13, 2021. Aero Care continues to bill me and automatically charge my credit card and I do not have their equipment. They are rude and will not stop charging my credit card. read more

This company could care less about servicing the customer. They received the order from my doctor and immediately called me telling me they have it. I was informed another person who specializes is CPAP would call shortly to discuss my supply order. This all happened in early November and I explained not only did I need my supplies ASAP but I wanted to get them claimed this year as I had met my deductible. A week or so when by and no call so I attempted to call them. After numerous attempts, I finally spoke to someone who said the person who handles CPAP orders is very busy. This went on for weeks with me calling on a regular basis and no return calls. I finally got ahold of the CPAP specialist who had no clue what she was doing to the point that she told me the items were on the way at one point but I never placed an order and they didn't even know what brand mask I used. It was finally the last week of December and I got in touch with a manager who understood my concern and would have the proper person contact me later that day to take my order. That never happened. Today 11/14/22, I received a call from them that they are ready to talk about what I needed. Needless to say I contacted another company out of state that last week of December and it was handled the next day and items shipped 2nd day air. I would NOT recommend Aerocare to anyone and suggest you find another supplier. read more
