Now most people may not panic when they have to design an item with glass pieces, I'm not most people. Their website was not super helpful in describing glass fusion, the process, or what they offer. All I know is that my friend suggested it and I was along for the crafty ride. As they are giving us the run down, I'm internally screaming. It seemed complicated at first. This is not a cheap project and I really didn't want to jack it up. A lot of the examples were not quite my style, so I really took a long time to get started. My friend jumped right in and made a beautiful piece! Once I got rolling, it was really fun. There was no pressure. I'd totally go back, better prepared. Maybe paint something, too. Sooooo, now we wait a week to pick up our pieces after they are fired. I'm excited to see them!

Ive never had anything but positive interactions with any employees and the owner is the sweetest lady. I once picked up my piece and it looked a little lumpy and the paint had some specks on it, I called and they asked me to bring it back and then refired it with no fuss at all. After that it was perfect. They were very accommodating and I would suggest this place to anyone.

I love that I can still do that at the LampLight! I'm new to throwing clay pots and at my first time at the LampLight, I was surprised that it wasn't as easy as it looks, even with the fine equipment.
