I wish I would have known about them sooner, which is why I'm writing a review, so I hope others can find them. It's a couple who have been working together for many years. They communicate well to determine what you want, and the salon is stylish and fun. They make sure you are comfortable and spend plenty of time with you. I got a cut and a color. The color service was particularly excellent. The cut was well done as well. All in all, wholeheartedly recommend!

It met my satisfaction compared to other local salons. Right there, I walked in and noticed there was only a slot available on that day. It was available in the next hour - lucky me! When I came in for the cut, a very nice and thoughtful salon lady, Nejma, was satisfied with a photo of a particular hairstyle I always carried in my iPhone. My goodness, she certainly is not only an expert but also an artist to the point she understood both strengths and weaknesses of my hair. Nejma, without reservations and all hands down, is one of the best among all others over years of traveling. I walked in on a Saturday to make an appointment for the following weekend and I got the time slot…read moreI preferred, the woman at the desk, possibly the owner, spoke very little English but we understood each other enough. So the day of the appointment arrives and I sit in the waiting chair and a young girl comes in, hangs up her coat and gets on her little salon jacket. She asks me something in French that I think was are you here for a haircut so I say oui and we go to the sink where she does the wash, towel on the head thing. She proceeds to comb my hair and clip it up in a millions clips....the owner comes over to me and starts to get out the blow dryer and the brush...clearly we didn't understand each other so I make like scissors with my fingers so she knows I need a cut. Thank God for the woman next to me to translate the words long layers otherwise who knows what would have happened. Needless to say she cuts my hair in a way like I have never seen, pulling it every which way cutting all around and then she blows it dry very differently as well....twisting every piece then twisting her wrist a bit. I look at myself in the mirror to see the most beautiful hair ever. I couldn't believe how great it looked, which I must say I have never been able to re-create. It was the best haircut ever for only 40 Euro....I will go back for the blow out alone!

Now he has opened his own place. It's very nice (almost elegant) and easy to get to, near Cornavin train station. Best of all, his fantastic haircut is only 25 francs, including a shampoo and blow dry.

Anthony and I understood each other, he had worked in the UK before so it was great for me. I got a haircut only. I have long hair a bit past my shoulders...the cut and blow-dry was 87 Euros. My local friends get hair cut and color for this price and less so I feel like I over paid, but its the price to pay if you need someone who understands you. We didn't cover hair cut terminology in French class yet !!

After getting one horrible haircut, I was letting my mullet grow out, suffering every step of the…read moreway. A friend brought me here to Marco, the owner of the salon. She was my translator as Marco, does not speak English. Let me tell you, he doesnt speak English, but he speaks the language I needed that day, HAIR. I was trying to explain the old haircut and what I wanted vs. what I got and he stopped my "translator". He said, I can see what happened here. It was really horrible. I walked out of that place with a beautiful haircut, blown out to perfection. I really loved it and he suggested a keratin treatment since my hair is getting beat up with the hard water here. It was 85 francs which is pretty cheap for Switzerland. I made my next appointment before I left as well. Finally after two years of living here I found a someone who cuts my hair how I like it. A huge thing for women, now if I can find a replacement bra for mine that was discontinued I will be golden :)
