Staff is lovely. This place has saved my a** once again. Highly recommend. Also, in a better part of town, (yes. It gets worse.)

1 Star Review Discharged Without Cause - Beware If…read moreCourt-Mandated I was court-mandated to Fred Brown Recovery and followed every requirement. Despite my full compliance--including attending extra parenting and anger management classes on my own--I was blindsided and discharged with no due process on July 2, 2025. That morning, I was called into an emergency meeting while I was at work and told I was losing my housing and needed to appear in court. The reason? "Not getting along with roommates." This was completely false--I have video evidence and written statements from all of my roommates confirming we got along fine. Even those I previously had an incident with had no ongoing issues with me. It became clear they were waiting for things to "build up" to discharge me. Charlotte pretended to be supportive in meetings but reported negative things to my case manager behind my back without my permission. Le Ann was rude, condescending, and even mocked my job, saying I should work at McDonald's instead of in my chosen field. When I responsibly reached out to staff for help after hours, they used it against me instead of seeing it as a sign of accountability. I was discharged the same day--no warning, no chance to defend myself, and no opportunity to correct anything. I wasn't even allowed back on the property to retrieve my belongings. This discharge put me at risk of going to jail due to my court case. Fred Brown made no attempt to work with me or honor the basic principles of recovery, justice, or trauma-informed care. I write this as a cautionary tale for others--especially anyone court-mandated--considering this program. They are not interested in your success. They are interested in control, optics, and covering themselves. --------/-/////////----------//////----------- They are discharging me without a place to go after they allowed a person to room with me who had just relapsed and she started fighting w me in my sleep. Another roommate threw a towel at me in the middle of the night. They said the common denominator was me even though they let unhinged people in their program. They try to kick people out for all sorts of reasons so your housing is not stable here. Go elsewhere. * oh, and might I add. The girl who was allowed to stay had just relapsed (the usual policy is sober 60-90 days before entering recovery bridge housing) and she has her own place So they kicked me out on the curb - homeless- w out helping me find anything and wouldn't let me come back to get my stuff over something ridiculous - a girl yelling at me in my sleep and me responding "not now"

I don't know where to begin. It's not easy to admit having fallen off the wagon when, in my mind, I…read morewas doing so well.. until life happened. I was referred to TCI and knew I needed to go, but didn't want to go. That all changed once I got there. TCI changed my life and forced me to look in a mirror and get comfortable with being uncomfortable and face the parts of me that have been anchoring me from true freedom and inner peace. The program they run is rigourous and caused some serious brain pain, but I was able to break through parts of me that have I've been hiding for most of my life. Each person has their own style of doing things and contributed different things that I needed to receive while I was there, and to me, it was the perfect staff. From crying, to laughing, to being vulnerable and feeling comfortable enough to dig deep and share things with perfect strangers that I've never shared with anyone else; I've never felt more safe, heard, and just allowed to be myself without judgement. Instead I was met with compassion, understanding, and comfort. I don't trust people easily, and I trust every person at TCI with my life, because they not only changed my life, they saved my life. If I name one person in this review, I'm going to have to name all of them (that's a long list), but I was able to go home with the tools I know will help me manage my recovery on a daily basis, and because of that, my fears have lost power over me. I'm eternally grateful to each and every staff member at TCI. Thank you for your kindness, love and care (and for the brain pain experienced from being forced to be honest with myself). I am eternally grateful. This is the place to go if you want to experience true freedom from self. When I feel some sort of way, all I have to do is remember the advice and suggestions and feedback I received during my time at TCI, and I know there's hope that I will be ok. I also know that it's ok to not be ok, but it doesn't have to stay that way.. a lesson that has changed my life in just a short period of time. I have much love for them all, and they will be in my heart forever.

Debbie from Transformations Care helped my family during the process of onboarding and recovery. I…read moretruly do not know where we would be without her. She saved my brother's life and our family/friends' lives in turn! (We wouldn't know what to do without my brother) While my friend and I were trying to help find a place for my brother, Debbie was trying to help even though we didn't think he had the correct insurance for Transformations Care. Debbie helped my friend for countless hours and eventually they were able to figure out insurance to get my brother to Transformations. The fact that she was helping my friend even though we didn't think we could get my brother to Transformations, truly shows that this place has the best of intentions. Debbie wants to help people in need get to the road to recovery! She made the road to recovery so much easier than it could have been. She made my brother feel welcome, normal, and loved. Debbie reassured me and my family consistently by sending us photos of her and my brother. Recovery is hard - Debbie made it easier for him and I am forever grateful. I HIGHLY recommend Transformations Care as a family member (I can't fully endorse it as a patient, but my brother has nothing but great things to say about the owners, Michelle in outpatient, and Debbie!) Thank you for saving my brothers life, I appreciate you!
