I did file late…read more Unfortunately he did not automatically apply for extensions as my previous CPA did resulting in large penalties. He also didn't appeal the penalties. While I had established an s corp to help reduce my taxable income, he didn't achieve that or find any deductions I can see as my previous accountants did. After paying a very large tax bill and then later thousands in penalties the irs wanted to review the entire tax year he prepared, As well as set up a payment plan for still more funds for some unknown reason . Mr Ha refused to do this so I'm spending hours on the phone trying to reach the irs to find out what's gone wrong.
