Now, if you've ever read any of my reviews, you'll know that I'm fairly picky, especially around…read moremedical stuff and customer service. Portland Medical Imaging is about as good as it gets. After moving into the city last autumn, all the yearly med stuff was coming back around, including mammogram, and it made more sense to find new places to get that stuff done, instead of driving back out to the old places. My new doctor gave me a list of various places on the insurance I could go to, and said "pick one and get it done". So, I did my research (including, of course, Yelp) and picked Portland Medical Imaging. From first phone call to walking out the door, they aced it. Appointment? Easy, prompt, pleasant. Reception? Easy, friendly, accurate, pleasant. Wait time? None. I was taken in promptly at my appointment time. Facility? Immaculate. Supplies? Considerate. Locking lockers, take the key with you. Shorty gowns, so there isn't extra material to get in the way. Deoderant etc provided if you would like to use it. Coffee in the waiting room. Technician? Outstanding. Thorough. Careful, considerate, gentle. Personable and even funny. They've really got a good thing going; at this point, I would recommend them to friends and family without reservation. Note: I have not received results yet, so if they biff that and don't send them or something, I'll re-review. Also, I have another appointment with them for a different matter in a couple of weeks, so, of course, if my experience is vastly different, I'll re-review. But I'm fairly certain they're just. that. good.

The receptionists here are very friendly and we usually get in and out pretty fast. I have not…read morepersonally used their service, but I accompany my dad when he goes. I'm not sure how the technicians are in the back. I've not heard a complaint from my dad though. The waiting area is nice and clean. The coffee machine is a bonus. Fresh ground coffee, too! My only minor complaint is the children's toys in the waiting area. The toys are kind of loud and some parents don't know how to calm their children down and let them go wild. I may be biased though because I do kind of hate children.... Hence, minor complaint. Others were probably not as bothered as I was.

I don't live in this area so I thought leaving a review was important. I broke my upper humerus on…read more11/25/25 up at Lake Tahoe. I was coming to Portland to visit family. The scheduler called me back shortly before Thanksgiving, and got into an ortho on 12/2/25. They did x-rays and confirmed break. He also ordered an MRI. That's where RAYUS came in. I was able to get in on 12/9/25. All that was pretty quick seeing as how I don't live here. It was working with an outside scheduler with the ortho's office that caused the delay. Once I stopped waiting for them to call me back and called them, it was scheduled within a day. So ... for the review. They were great. I'd never had an MRI before and they took time to explain everything before hand. Don't get me wrong it wasn't fun and actually quite uncomfortable due to where the break was. None of that was on them though. They were kind, caring, and professional. This traveler is appreciative.

CombatCritic Review - RAYUS Radiology: Locked, Loaded, and Professional…read more I got sent to RAYUS Radiology by my urologist after some suspicious PSA readings -- potential cancer on the radar. Unfortunately, they were booked solid for two months. Not ideal when you're staring down possible enemy fire. Then came the real hero of this mission -- the appointment specialist. She went above and beyond, flagged my name, and promised to call if an opening popped up. Two weeks later, she delivered. Got the call, locked in the appointment, and I was on the MRI table the very next day. That's how you execute a contingency plan, folks. The MRI tech was a total pro -- calm, clear, and compassionate -- a rare combo in modern medicine. He explained the whole procedure like a seasoned NCO giving a pre-mission brief, kept me steady, and made sure I knew exactly what to expect. Results were in the next day. Good news: no enemy contact on the radar for now. Still, this is a watch-and-hold operation -- I'll be keeping a close eye on PSA levels for months ahead. Professionalism. Precision. Compassion. That's RAYUS Radiology. CombatCritic Gives RAYUS Radiology 9 Bombs Out Of 10 And A Spot On My WALL OF FAME ... More Bombs Are Better ... Unless You're On The Receiving End!

Front desk female with black hair in her thirties and wears too much makeup is one awful human…read more I've never seen such a level of unprofessionalism in my days. Of the two doctors that I had dealings with, they were similar to the front desk female the I dealt with. Utterly dismissive, condescending and impatient, in conjunction with being extremely unprofessional. One of them clearly had alcohol on his breath. I lived in Silverton but this hospital is the reason why I moved all the way to Lake Osewego so that I can access better hospitals due to my lingering health issues. The nearest hospitals to Silverton are in Salem. Make, the commute if you can; if not, then you have my deepest sympathies.

This is an update to my last review regarding my sister who was there Days before her bowel…read moreruptured. When I did my last review she had been in ICU for a week, it is now six months later. She had been in ICU for months and is now in a rehab facility to finish her care and get PT to be able to walk again due to being bedridden in the Hosp for so long. She never once needed dialysis but since this she is now on three times a week. The rupture could have been avoided had this hospital called around to different hospitals until they found one able to take her. I live in a small community with a small hospital. If it is something we can't care for we call until we find a hospital who can take them. Life flight if necessary. I am not a Dr however even I know a bowel obstructions end in rupture.
