    The owner of May Management bought a house in a residential neighborhood, and pretended to be the…read morenew neighbor. She then quickly turned it to an Airbnb commercial unit. May Management sent out a photographer to take pictures of the commercial unit, and she purposely took pictures to include our private residence on the world wide website. We live in an area that is somewhat secluded, and liked it that way. Suddenly, our home is on view to anyone who clicks on the site! We asked the owner, nearly three years ago, to crop out our private home from her ad, but she will not do so. Airbnb will also not help. They are purposely using our private residence in their commercial ad, effecting our privacy. There is plenty of space to crop out our home, which would only take a couple of minutes. Now, besides Airbnb, they have placed all the same ads on the Utopia vacation rental website as well. They just don't give a damn.

May Management then supposedly sent a check (which has mysteriously disappeared) to the condo unit which I rent out. My tenant has not seen the check. They have my correct address on file. May management is unwilling to even acknowledge their error and insists, despite multiple calls and requests that this be expedited, that "Accounting won't allow a duplicate check to be issued for 30 days due to policy". This is not for a substantial amount of money. Pathetic....... We deserve better from a supposed professional management company.

When I decided to put my own house on the market a few months ago, I remembered Shoreline Realty from the name on the side of Matthew's pick-up truck, looked him up, and reached out. We met at my home soon after to get acquainted, have Matthew get a look at the house, and voice our thoughts on appropriate updates/repairs, the asking price, for getting it on the market, etc. With Matthew's guidance and assistance in facilitating preparations, the house was listed on April 20th, had six showings, and had two solid offers within a week. In the interim, I've come to know Matthew as a high-energy person of integrity, with a wealth of local knowledge and resources who grew up in the area and is finely tuned to the local real estate markets. He's reliable, intelligent yet relatable, driven yet chill, and knows how to market properties to the best advantage for both buyers and sellers. His appreciation and knowledge of older homes such as mine, as well as his knowledge of how houses of all eras are put together (and his sense of humor), is a bonus. If you are looking for a real estate agent in Volusia County who's willing to put in the work and go the extra mile, I enthusiastically recommend Matthew McLean of Shoreline Realty.

    Highly Unprofessional and Disrespectful Staff - Do Not Recommend…read more I called the guard gate due to a short-term legal issue asking them to not let my builder in until resolved. The guard asked me to please call or email the HOA staff because she did not want them to get mad at her since they have done in the past. Why would a security guard be afraid of the HOA - only if the Southern States Management staff is not treating their employees with respect and with civility. Note the HOA staff are all Caucasian and the guard gate staff are almost all minorities so I cannot imagine someone being scared to do their job. I did as the guard gate asked and below is the exact response from Craig Nisbett. Note he works for the homeowners, we pay his salary and his company to manage our HOA. Nobody should respond in such a manner anyone; I cannot imagine how he speaks to the guards for them to be afraid of him. If anyone in business spoke this way to a peer or client they would be fired and he should be fired too given he did not do his due diligence nor does he have any Emotional Intelligence. Craig's Disrespectful and unprofessional response is below and he is nothing more than an email bully: "You need to contact the gatehouse and manage your own access. SSMG does not manage individual visitor/builder access into Hammock Dunes. I also don't appreciate us being put in the middle of your builder contract disputes!"

I am the owner of the property addressed in that wholly unfair review. My family lives four hours south of Palm Coast but we were delighted when Alina Pekarsky found us such a wonderful property. I personally drove up to review all the work done on the house. Virtual Homes Realty practices and policies are transparent to clients and I can tell you first-hand that all my transactions were conducted by knowledgable professionals - with a heart! Unfortuanely we were not able to move up to Palm Coast and again, Virtual Homes Realty assuaged all our concerns about long-distance renting by offering FIVE-STAR property management. And the company delivere - exceeding our expectations at every turn. We also had a detailed video and photo gallery of the interior and exterior of the property upon completion of all work and decoration. And yes, Virtual Homes Realty has a very strict rental policy. And as we all signed the contratcs, we all knew the rules and regulations. That said, Alina Perkarsky and her team reached out to me and my family to help the gentleman who was renting our lovely home break his contract so that he may move to his own residence. As Alina Perkarsky and her team inspire confidence and trust through honest and sound business proctices, I authorized her to accomodate the man renting our home. As for the protests expressed in that September 2nd review about repairs necessary upon moving out , well... You know, we have all rented a place or two in our lifetimes. And we all know about wear and tear accrued by, well, just day-to-day living. And that's why we have to give a security deposit... The Virtual Home Team has always kept me informed about any requests for repairs or potential problems. There are no surpries and whatever fix is needed, well, they have companies who meet their high standards get on it immediately. There is always a followup with owners so that there's an electronic trail of services, maintenance, and repairs. As an owner I picked the interior and exterior paint colors. I toured the property. As I said there are no surprises with Virtual Homes Realty. The September 2nd entry is surprising as the gentleman was the first person to live in that house since we purchased it. Virtual Homes Realty has been exceptional in all our business dealings. No surprises. Five Star service. I cannot recommend this real estate agency enough.

Every step of the way Alina and her team have been extremely helpful, honest, and responsive. In the last 30 days Alina sold two of my houses in Palm Coast FL, both for more money than I expected! It is something that I believe only Alina could do, especially in a tough market as it is right now in Florida. I highly recommend working with Alina on any front whether you are buying, selling, or just need somebody to manage your rental property.
