My primary care doctor referred me to an orthopedic surgeon, where I had X-rays/scan and was informed that I needed a total hip replacement; I'm 72. I was scheduled for surgery within a month, had surgery, and went home that day. I began Physical Therapy 2 days later. I was off the walker in a week and pain-free. After the 2nd wk of PT, off a cane. I just completed my 8-week follow-up with the surgeon. I still have some recovery to go to complete the healing process, but I am so far ahead of where I was 2 months ago. I am amazed. Thank you, Performance Physical Therapy, LaFayette, GA. They provided more than physical therapy; they all offered encouragement, confidence, hope...total support.

Dr. Barber found the cause of my problem to be something else entirely and started treating me accordingly! For two years I have been nearly pain-free! I have been able to do more than lay on the couch and cry, writhing in pain! I have found a much better quality of life! Thank you, Dr. Barber! Thank you! To address the claim by the person who was dismissed by Dr. Barber: If you have a history of drug abuse you sort of lose all credibility in your claim. You said in your review, "I've been clean for a while now..." Also, you said, "One good thing about dr barber I guess is he does work with you somewhat if you pay cash..." Not true at all. I have only paid cash once when I forgot my card, and he has been nothing but amazing! I think you're just very angry that you lost your pain medication. As another reviewer pointed out, you should be more careful of the company you keep! I would never be friends with people who sell their pain medication and do drugs! NEVER! Especially if I needed pain medication to function and do simple, normal everyday activities. Common sense is not so common! Amena G.

But he doesn't like to listen I had some issues with some so-called friends of mine outside of his clinic and just because they ganged up on me and called him and told lies on me saying that I was doing all this horrible shit when they were the ones that were doing it I am the one that got dismissed from his practice and when I tried Explain to him what had happened he wouldn't even listen to reason he wouldn't listen to anything I had to say he just automatically believe these random people on what they said and dismiss me from his practice I know many people that go to his practice that sell their pills and they don't care he never calls in for a pill count so it's not like they ever get caught but because they called him and told him that I was selling my pills and that I was doing drugs he dismissed me even though I've been clean for a while and I don't sell my pills but I know that the ones that called in on me I know they sell their pills I know that for a fact the only reason they called in on me was because we were having personal issues and they knew that they they could get to me by calling him and all it took was all four of them calling him and now I'm dismissed from his practice but that's OK because I will be filing a lawsuit so think twice for your Dr. Barber's office because all it takes is one person to call and tell lies on you and he'll dismiss you no questions asked he is so unprofessional lazy inconsiderate the only thing good about his office is Miss Tia upfront because she is the sweetest one that's there and the nicest. One good thing about dr barber I guess is he does work with you somewhat if you pay cash

I called and they wouldn't put it thru. Later I got a bill after a year of being seen and it wasn't even correct! They had overcharged me and I went in and spent over an hour teaching the woman basic math to correct the mistake. Then I saw a copy of the bill and they had written horrible things about me on the bill!!! I was horrified you'd think they would have more compassion for a single Christian woman not from the area trying to help her son and not throw her money away do to not having efficient people. Don't be an outsider from out of town as you will not be welcomed. They will judge you. Then they claim to be Christian with their holier than though music. Maybe some of them are but some of them aren't.

They only do infusions on certain days so luckily the day I called was an infusion day and they saw me quickly. You're taken to a quiet room with recliners and dim lighting to relax. The NP that did my IV was great. Did not feel the stick at all. The doctor and other staff came in regularly to check on me and make sure I was comfortable. Even though I was not there for a doctor's visit she offered to treat my nausea while I was there. It took over an hour for the infusion to complete and I could already tell I was feeling somewhat better. The evening after the infusion I could really start feeling the effects and the next day I was feeling amazing! I would highly recommend this for anyone feeling drained or sluggish. I really felt energized and alert and still do 5 days later! The cost is very reasonable too!

The ladies are super friendly and personable, and the massage I had was really relaxing--just what I needed! The pricing is extremely affordable, too. I spent just $55 for an hour. The only complaint I had was that my masseuse was behind schedule when I went, so my massage started like 30 minutes late. I didn't mind too much since I wasn't in a rush, and another masseuse was there to chat with, but I still wanted to mention it. Otherwise, I loved the place, and I will certainly be back!
