At Associated Audiologists on St. Claire - I have had disappointing service. My first doctor…read moreassigned to me cancelled two appointments the day of scheduled visits. I was re-assigned to Katherine Rhoads who is very nice and believe is very competent. Today I had a scheduled follow up appointment with AA. I was called Friday to conform the appointment for 9:00 this morning. I arrived a bit early and was asked for my new insurance card (which I provided). Then I was asked for my Medicare Card (which I am not sure I even have one). I offered to provide my Medicare number but the receptionist said she required my Medicare card. I have been on Medicare for 4 years and have never been asked for this before; not from Associated Audiologists and not from my PCP, Ortho, NKC Hospital, Dentist Neurologist etc.. Now just for the record, Medicare has zero hearing aid benefits - Zero. I am the one paying the bill. So this is the 3rd time I had an appointment from this provider that was not honored. THE THIRD TIME!!!! Very disappointing after spending $4000 on hearing aids.

I don't have to worry about parking with my walker and she is always there to open the door for me and the best part is there are no stairs, elevators and I walk straight in to her office. If you are looking for an honest, real, and a doctor that cares about you and not your pocket book go and see her.
