They take me to perform specified tests when needed by the doctor (though not too long, this can take a bit and is typically the longest part of the appointment). If no tests are ordered, they take me straight to a patient room to wait for the doctor--you all know this same-ole routine. I'm usually only waiting for a maximum of 15 minutes, in most cases less. The doctor is quick and efficient, while monitoring the progression of fluid buildup in my right eye (common issue for long-term type 1 diabetes). The checkout is seamless: All I have to do is give them the piece of paper that consists of doctor's notes for my next visit--they set my next appointment. They are easy and no-hassle about reschedules. I've never had issues with my insurance for any of the procedures recommended or performed by this medical team.
