I could not imagine a better experience at an eye doctor's office. The professionalism and level of care from the staff was spectacular. I saw Dr. Adams for my exam- she was so personable and knowledgeable. I left feeling very taken care. Highly recommend making this your go-to optometry place!!! read more

I have been going to advantage for years. They are always very kind and extremely professional. I always leave my appointments feeling satisfied with the level of care I received. They are also very accommodating with any of my needs outside of regular appointments. The workers at advantage are very knowledgeable and are experts at dealing with insurance. Praise God for the work of the wonderful people at Advantage Eye Care. read more

Went during the end of the pandemic, they operated professionally, the appointment was swift and well done. Took a bit to get my glasses due to my insurance, but, it only cost me $75 and that was largely because I elected for transition lenses. Great place. read more

Extremely surprised they only have a 2.5 star review as that was not my experience at all. The staff and doctors were amazing!! From the timely manner in which I was seen, to the care Dr. Adams provided. She took the time necessary to address my concerns and provided a thorough exam. This will always be my go to for my family and I. You can tell this office is passionate about what they do and truly care for their patients. read more

The level of friendliness and attention to detail at Advantage is unmatched to any other doctor's office I've been to. The staff are always very friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable. The people at Advantage Eye Care just flat-out take care of me. I'll never go anywhere else for my eye care. read more

Was not happy with the doctor. I did not feel he was qualified. Went back to pick up my glasses, and was not able to see out of one of my eyes. The tech checked with the doctor, and he told her that my vision would not be corrected with glasses. I would think if my vision could not be corrected with glasses, that would have been a good take away during my appointment. Not when I'm picking up my glasses. Glasses was $675 after insurance. He did not offer to recheck my eyes! Do not go to this place it is a joke. I only went here because it was close to my work. I will be going back to my doctor from here on out. read more

My first visit yesterday left me slightly bewildered. The staff seemed awfully busy. I did not feel tests were adequately explained nor were results explained. From past experience with other optometrists where I have lived, I expected a more personal experience. I do think this is a nice professional business and I will return. I would also recommend it. It just did not have that one on one feeling I have experienced elsewhere. read more

I had my regular eye exam the other day. There are so many tests they run, but I prefer it more than a quick 15-20 minute check up. They explained the tests and what they are looking for each time. The staff seemed busy, but not to the point that they weren't helpful. read more

After i picked them up I figured they were too loose so I went back in for them to tighten them. It was around 6:45 and they close at 7, but it was just a small adjustment and I knew I would be in and out. When I went in the same woman who helped me earlier turned to look at me and visibly rolled her eyes. A different lady came over to help me and was super nice and realized my glasses had a chip in them even though I had just picked them up an hour ago. She was nice enough to order me a new pair. Overall, some staff is very nice and others not so much. I know it was super close to closing time but you're still on the clock for 15 minutes. I work at a clinic and I understand how it is to be ready to leave, but you always treat patients with respect.

I went back, dud another exam, got my second pair. Theyd adjusted my bifocal on one side, which was not the problem, it was seeing just 20 ft away, was still blurred, no protective coating, which has a little tint to it. I told this all to the Mgr, and she said I didnt have protective coating on my first pair, I showed her, she still basically called me a liar after comparing. They were upset because this was my 2nd pair and they still didnt get it right. As I was leaving, a younger girl was there to pick up her glasses, she told the lady they were blurry, again, they told her it would take a week to get used to. Thats a lie! Its been 2 months now, I cant wear mine, too blurry. My insurance wont cover again until next year, which I will never go to this screwed up place ever again!!

My first visit Jan 09, 2019 with Advantage Eye Care was a very good one. The staff welcomed me in and explained the paperwork that needed to be filled out. I was called back to start the exam before I finished the paperwork. A few tests were ran and then I sat back in the waiting area to finish my medical history. Shortly after finishing it I was called back in the exam room to see Dr. Patricia Adams. She walked in with a smile and a warm greeting and starting in on my eye exam. She was willing to stay in the exam room as long as it took to answer any questions or concerns that I may have had. I was very pleased with Dr. Patricia Adams and her staff and will be returning in the future. read more

I had an accident and broke my only pair of glasses in half. Looking for sameday glasses service, I made several calls, only to be told that I had to have a current prescription, which meant an eye exam, and they were all booked out. I called Advantage and spoke to Amanda. she told me to bring my glasses in. She found frames for me which my lenses fit in! She fixed me up immediately, and I set up an appt for an eye exam after the holidays. She listened to me, came up with a solution, and fixed my problem in minutes. Great place. Friendly staff. I loved doc that my daughter seen he was very friendly and kept the exam in her age range. He made sure to ask her the questions about her eyes and what she thought not just asking me (mom). My son had the same doc a year ago and he was great my son has sensitivities to certain things and has adhd so he was a little harder for doc to exam but he stuck with it and adjusted his methods and got down on my son level. Dr. Patricia, the assistance workers, and receptionists are amazing! The receptionists are quick to help and even be honest when picking out glasses. The technicians take the time to go over any med changes and explain what the machines do. Dr. Patricia is expertly knowledge and will discuss exactly what risks you have based on meds, or on damage done to ones eye and if it can be improved. Everyone there is very friendly. I have been a patient of Dr. Ward for over ten years, and was sorry to see him retire, but Dr. Jaki she's very knowledgeable about Eye's and also young, so hopefully she will be around for a long time.
