I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their vehicle to Christian Brothers Automotive…read morebased on my experience over multiple visits. I have a 2017 BMW and have brought it to this location repeatedly since February for ongoing cooling system issues. During that time, multiple components were replaced, including the radiator, hoses, water pump, and engine coolant outlet. Despite this, problems continued, and new issues developed immediately after repairs. Most recently, after cooling system work, my air conditioning stopped working properly. It would only blow slightly cool air while driving and would get warmer at idle -- a clear change from how it functioned before the repair. When I brought it back, I was told the A/C expansion valve needed to be replaced due to "high pressure." However, when I asked for actual pressure readings or any concrete diagnostic data to support that conclusion, none was provided. The explanation remained vague and was not backed by measurable values. I also asked whether airflow-related issues had been ruled out (such as the cooling fan or airflow across the condenser), given that the symptoms were worse at idle. Again, no clear or detailed answer was given. I specifically requested confirmation that the cooling system was vacuum filled and properly pressure tested after the prior repair. While I was told verbally that it was done, there was no documentation provided to verify it. A major concern throughout this process has been communication. When I sent detailed follow-up questions by email, they were not answered. Instead, I would receive a message that the vehicle was ready for pickup, without any of my questions being addressed. I also contacted the owner directly, as he has suggested in responses to other reviews, and did not receive any response. The only documentation provided after each visit was basic invoices listing parts replaced, with no meaningful technician notes, diagnostic detail, or recorded test data. For a vehicle with repeated and interconnected issues, this lack of transparency is a serious concern. While the car is currently operating normally after the latest repair, the pattern of repeated issues, unsupported diagnoses, and lack of communication made this a frustrating, expensive, and time-consuming experience. Based on my experience, I would not feel confident returning here for future repairs, especially for anything requiring detailed diagnostics. I would strongly recommend that others ask for clear diagnostic data and written confirmation of procedures before approving any work.

Unfortunately, the repairs were too extensive, as well as expensive for us to take on. However, Tom was incredibly helpful during the entire process. He kept us updated and informed on the best way to move forward, specifically since we were dealing with this from a different city. He made me feel like we were in trusted hands and even helped us out by clearing our things from our car before it got towed away. Even in a not so great situation, Tom made things much easier for us, and we greatly appreciate him!

Since i had never trouble with that before I asked him could it have happened? Jason said he didnt know but it happened while in his possession at his business. Jason refused to take any responsiblitiy for this mysterious leak while in his parking lot. It is VERY difficult to make a 7.3L oil pan leak, he said it appeared someone had taken a screw driver and intentionally sabotaged the seal. Anyhow i needed my truck so i paid another $1500 to Jason to take the entire engine out, turn it upside down and fix the seal. This was a miserable experience and very expensieve, and Jason couldnt have cared less, and i suspect he knew a lot more about what happened to it than he cared to reveal. Jason is dishonest and so are his mechanics. They are the lowest of the low.

I contacted Jason Short the owner about repairing my engine on my 2011 Honda Accord EXL, he came to my home on December 30th and picked it up with his tow truck, he drove my car onto the flat bed and damaged it by putting a gash in the ride hand side lower door panel. I expressed to him that this would need to be repaired and he assured me it would be. It was supposed to be repaired back on Jan. 6th, I found out it was just done on Jan 21st and I asked for a picture of the door to see proof and I did not receive it, once I recieved my car I saw that was completed. Jason and I shopped around online for an engine to put in my car and decided to purchase one at Flat Rock Auto Savage of Murfreesboro, I cash app'd him the money to pay for the engine. He made it seem as if it would be a one week job. He completely lied to me, he stated that his shop was in Lebanon, TN on the website but, he later informed me it was in Tullahoma, TN over an hour and a half away, too far for me to check on my car or know what was being done to it. They list themselves as being BBB accredited but they are not, I confirmed that with the BBB that they are not, and when I asked him about it, he said they are a joke. he speaks to me very rudely and unprofessionally, and he is instantly irritated when I called to ask for updates. He then passed me on to the shop manager named Stone Copeland, he was a bit more helpful, but he also promised me things he did not deliver, such as he would bring me a receipt, then he told me his headlights would not come on, so he could not come bring it. Then he said my car would be ready Friday January 17th but he later told me that he discovered that the axle/drive shaft was cracked and that I needed to immediately cash app or western union him $475 to repair that before he could finish the engine. He said he would order the part overnight and that my car would be ready the next day Sunday January 19th but then at around 3 pm he texted (not called) and told me the part never came in. time after time, told lie after lie, it was 31 days that they had my car and I had to pay for rental cars for the entire time. I was talked down to by the owner Jason Short via text messages, he was condescending and rude and called me names comparing my concern about my car to the loose of a child saying I'm overreacting, all because I asked to see pictures of what has been done, old parts that have been removed, receipts and realistic updates on my car. I was even threatened that if I don't stop he will not offer me any discounts for all the inconvenience that I have experienced. I feel that as a black woman I have been treated poorly, unprofessionally and taken advantage of. it took them 26 days to return my car and when they did it had multiple issues, alternator, power steering pump, a belt and tensioner that had to be replaced immediately, they also call and harassed me after I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. as of today they never provided me with a receipt for the engine As of yesterday 8/5 I was copied the owner on all my complaints as instructed by the BBB and he immediately threatened me with a law suite for sharing my experience on yelp, no customers should feel threatened for telling the truth!!!!!! I hired Kyle based on the fact that he provided a…read morereasonable estimate for the replacement of some O2 sensors for a 2006 Nissan frontier king cab that my son was driving. The error code that it was throwing was the O2 sensor but I wanted to validate and make sure. Kyle came out diagnosed the issue right away saying that unfortunately exhaust codes can be many different things and not necessarily just the O2 sensor so he ran multiple tests, smoke tests and found a number of different issues that he took care of along the way from valve covers and fuel sensors as well as replaced the up and downstream O2 sensors. This whole process took a couple of weeks as he needed to order parts and then retest based on the replacement of those parts, but that's pesky O2 error would not leave. Kyle must've come back to my house at at least 8 to 9 times over a six month period to try to solve this issue all along, not charging the additional time because the original diagnosis seemed to be very simple. I paid Kyle along the way for the parts and his labor, but he refused to continue to charge labor for coming out and retesting until the error was fixed despite sometimes the best mechanics can have reoccurring troubles and be stumped as to why codes keep throwing finally after approximately seven months of going back-and-forth with Kyle's schedule to come out and look at the truck. He replaced one side of a cat with a remanufactured version and the code finally cleared for good. I never heard from Kyle after that as I still owe him for that cat converter, but I can tell you right now that he is probably the best mobile mechanic in all of middle Tennessee that I've ever experienced despite his young age. He is a true man of integrity, character, and perseverance.
