Got there, only one other person in the lobby, which was very clean, by the way. Filled out some paperwork, gave the new girl working at the front desk my ID, went and sat down. Two minutes later, the only other person in the lobby gets called back, so I'm the only one left, in the lobby so I'm thinking that I'm next. Wrong. Just then, the lobby fills up with ppl: a dad and his son, a gal and her daughter, and a newborn baby with her mom, so after about 15 minutes, I went outside and had a smoke, and when I went back inside, it had been about 25 -30 minutes total since I arrived, so I asked the gal at the desk how much longer bc I'm gonna urinate all over myself, and she frowned and said that she's so sorry but it's gonna be at least another 30 minutes, bc the pee collector just went on lunch. I politely asked for my license back, and said I'd just come back tomorrow. One of the other ladies working there was within earshot, and told me that if I give her 5 minutes, she would be able to take care of me, but that she had to finish up with a patient. I couldn't believe my good fortune! Not only would I not soil myself, but I'd also get my drug test done. So thankful! Anyway, the gal that helped me was named Ingrid, and I couldn't have been happier with her. She explained everything clearly / concisely, and never once made me feel like I was under suspicion from the gate. Ingrid's customer service was what earned American River Urgent Care's 5 stars. I had something in my eye, so I thought this location is closer to me. As the sign outside says walk in welcome. I told the front desk person the situation, she took my ID and then told me, that they couldn't squeeze me in. The front desk person told me, I can come back the following day. It's because the doctor had a lot of paperwork to catch up on. WTF. She referred me to drive to Folsom, I told her driving that far distance will be difficult because of my eye. Then she pond me of on other urgent cares. The prior year I had the same experience, where they tell me that I need to make an appointment. They need to take the sign off WALK IN WELCOME because it's all BS. The prior year I was told that facility was ONLY for like physicals and small issues, that is what they are equipped with. The situations I had were not major health issues. They need to put appointments ONLY and not give patients that false security of walk in welcome. Then when they tell me the doctor has a lot of paperwork to complete. As much as most people have to pay for healthcare, this is totally unacceptable. I going to get in contact with corporate representatives to show how a doctor has a lot of paperwork to do to see a patient. The prior year I thought it was just that day but it happened again and I bet I am not the only one that this has happened too.

Wait times are typical for walk-in care (on the lengthy side) however you can book an appointment online in advance to your arrival which they will typically give priority to. Location is easy to find, if you are local you'll remember the building as the old Surf N Skate store. The (asian female) doc we met with was quick and professional, a prescription written and we left. This was when things went steeply down hill. We drove over to where they had allegedly called in meds (CVS on Dewey) and the clerk said there were no meds in the system that were sent over. I called Urgent Care back and they said they would resend. We waited and still nothing. There was another family who had left the clinic before we did and they were standing around as well. We left that night with no meds. We already spent so much time waiting at the clinic before hand.. spending another hour at the pharmacy waiting to see if this thing would go through about did us in so we tabled it for the following day. Do I recommend this clinic? Sure. In a pinch, we may even find ourselves there again. Plus, these issues may have not been common? Hard to say. Gotta comb through the other reviews. This one is actually overdue by a few weeks now.

If you want a birth where you don't have to prepare for battle in order to avoid abuse or being stripped of your power, but rather a guide for you to recognize your power, she is the midwife for you. When it came to my birthing time, I was happy she was there, but I felt like I also could have done it all without her. I think this is the mark of a great guide and teacher. If you are considering home birth, just do it. If you have some apprehension, hire Randi to ease your mind and free your inner goddess (she's in all of us).

He'd tell me about the amazing fresh, healthy meals, the weekly massages as well as trauma yoga, acupuncture, and even the equine therapy that really opened his eyes to new ways of connecting and growing. Our son shared about how much he learned about his own brain, what triggers are, and how he learned to relax as anxiety was an issue for him. I remember when we saw the pictures and read that there was a private chef, we thought the picture was probably not their normal fare! Oh no, it was beautifully presented and our son said the food was amazing! The counselors were patient and made the information easy for him to understand, so he could incorporate changes into his life. The Administrator Donna was fair with Kris and he liked her sense of humor and we appreciate their understanding and willingness to work with our son on a few difficult days when he initially came.
